Reflection On A Dartmouth Tuck Coffee Chat by: JustinTime on November 11, 2013 | | 6,387 Views November 11, 2013 Copy Link Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Email Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Share on Reddit Intimate Feel My final thought about Tuck is that the culture there is the real deal. It is known to be highly collaborative, very friendly, and a bit touchy feely. Whether you think that is good or bad is your opinion but I can certainly confirm that every interaction I’ve had with Tuck has been awesome. It won’t surprise me if I go to a variety of MBA events and Tuck has the most down to Earth representatives/alumni of any business school out there. I have not been to Hanover yet but I can tell you from the emails that I’ve exchanged with the admissions office that sent me their brochure to the Tuck Coffee Chat I described above – it is no shock to me that they have one of the highest giving rates of any business school. Tuckies must really love the place and have genuine positive emotions toward the school or they wouldn’t have the endowment that they do. I find this as one of their greatest strengths as someone who takes great pride in my undergraduate institution and would be thrilled to be in an environment where the student body and alumni are really passionate about the school. While lacking the prestige of an elite university and work experience at a brand name company, he’s hoping to offset those drawbacks with international experience, community service outreach, and a positive outlook. He is interested in the top ten business schools, but can also see himself at a part-time or online program.
