New York City, home to Wall Street and many corporate headquarters, is number one, with 7518 claiming residence in the New York metro area. The greater Boston area is next, with 6,304, followed by the San Francisco Bay Area, with 4,334, proving that you don’t have to go to Stanford or Berkeley to work in California. A Harvard MBA will get you there just fine. The United Kingdom can claim the largest group of HBS alums outside the U.S., with 2,818, followed by Canada (1821), London (1778) and Brazil (1,775). Australia, Mexico, and India also have pretty hefty concentrations of MBAs from Harvard. So do other big U.S. cities like Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles, all centers of power and influence. Previous PagePage 3 of 3 1 2 3 © Copyright 2026 Poets & Quants. All rights reserved.
