Description: Sustainability is becoming a cornerstone of any company’s agenda. And it isn’t empty lip service to social responsibility mantras. Instead, sustainability is a means to win-wins like reducing energy costs. In this course, students will learn sustainable business models that foster greater connectivity while serving the collective interests of local and global communities. In particular, Emanuelsson will “explore the key drivers to sustainability, the use of standards, the importance of stakeholder engagement, governance (including the use of codes of conduct), innovation for sustainability, the use of metrics and indicators and the application of management tools.” In the end, students will learn how to pursue sustainability and CSR strategies within their own organizations.
