Description: Inspired by Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad, which trains aspiring social entrepreneurs to “fail fast” so they can quickly learn what works and what matters. Designed to lessen wasted motion (and resources), the course focuses on how “validated learning, experimentation, and iterative product releases [can help founders] shorten product development cycles, measure progress, and gain valuable customer feedback” more quickly. Overall, the course is designed to apply this “lean mindset” to the corporate, public and NGO sectors. As part of the course, students will establish teams and develop business models to tackle poverty.
