Do plenty of practice questions so that you can be confident in your preparation when it’s game time. Based on your own selection process, what advice do you have for applicants who are trying to draw up a list of target schools to which to apply? Write down your priorities and what you would like to get out of your program (e.g. urban or rural, cost of living, size of the program, culture). Also, if it is financially feasible, go see the schools before applying. What advice do you have for applicants in actually applying to a school, writing essays, doing admission interviews, and getting recommenders to write letters on your behalf? Be yourself, tell your story, and fill in the gaps left by your resume. Ask a recommender who knows you well enough to provide the pieces of your puzzle. What led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA? I loved how small the program was because my goal is to develop into a more vocal leader. A small program makes it hard to hide in the masses. The location is a great deal. You get to be in an urban area with an unbelievably low cost of living. Lastly, the culture is very collaborative and everyone is intelligent yet down to earth. If you value any of these things, I strongly suggest that you consider Olin. What would you ultimately like to achieve before you graduate? I would like to take advantage of the opportunities and resources available to me as an MBA at Olin.
