Description: According to a recent SHMR study, it costs, on average, up to 6-9 months’ salary to replace an employee. And those costs include lost productivity, advertising, time spent selecting and onboarding new staffers, and cleaning up new hire mistakes. As a result, it pays to hire the right people the first time. In this course, students will learn research-based best practices for recruiting, choosing and training new employees. In particular, the course will focus on how to connect corporate strategy with recruitment and follow legal requirements to avoid potential embarrassment. Moreover, it will examine recent trends in hiring using social media and analytics. Review: No reviews.
