Students from the tech industry will total 9% of the class, unchanged from last year. MBAs with backgrounds in the energy sector will make up 2%, also the same as a year ago, while media/entertainment students will represent just a single percentage point. The only other changes? Some 6% of this year’s class comes from healthcare, up from 4% last year, while students from the consumer packaged goods and retail sectors were cut in half to 2% from 4%. Of the 863 students in the new class, some 14 are JD/MBA students; 76 are in the dual-degree Lauder program, while 72 are in Wharton’s health management option. Applying to Wharton?
