What has made it such a great place to earn an MBA? The people of Atlanta – everyone is so kind and welcoming. Being new to this part of the world, I have never felt left out. There is so much growth happening right now in Atlanta. More and more companies are setting up their offices. There is immense potential for growth in this city. Being a part of this growing ecosystem is surely going to help in our post-MBA careers. Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of the Scheller MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Coming from a technological background, I wanted to be in proximity to technology and understand its impact on business. I believe that the vast range of Business x Technology courses offered by Scheller will help me in becoming a tech savvy, business smart leader. What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Georgia Tech? Managing Info Resources by Marius Florin Niculescu has been my favorite course. He teaches so many relevant things in such brief time. I am a part of the Consulting Club, and the club has been immensely helpful in preparing us for the consulting interviews. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: After the government of India banned TikTok, a void was created in the short-form video-sharing space in India. Sensing the business opportunity, my client quickly jumped on the opportunity. I was involved in the development and launch of this product feature that is currently being used by millions of users worldwide. We successfully created a short-form video feature and integrated it with an existing platform that has over 2 billion users worldwide. Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? Apart from the coursework, I am working as a Graduate Research Assistant with Scheller College’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. It has been a wonderful opportunity to work with Scheller students, professors, and alumni to create a more inclusive place for everyone. What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? My best memory as an MBA student was when we were asked to introduce ourselves during orientation week. One thing that stood out was how kind and empathetic my classmates are. The support that we receive from one another has been phenomenal and has helped us navigate the MBA program. What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Georgia Tech Scheller’s MBA program? My advice would be to understand Scheller’s offerings.
