The University of Alabama’s Manderson Graduate School of Business, housed within UA’s Culverhouse College of Business, now offers five graduate certificate programs enabling individuals to gain and demonstrate marketable skills without committing to an entire graduate degree. Manderson’s graduate certificates are also optimized for the working professional, available both in-person on the UA campus in Tuscaloosa and online for distance learners.

Manderson’s graduate certificates in business cyber security, data analytics, digital & social media, information systems solutions, and supply chain analytics require less coursework than their corresponding master’s degree. 

The focus also narrows: a Manderson graduate certificate allows for the acquisition of specialized skills instead of broader knowledge. Better yet, earners of a Manderson graduate certificate get credits toward an eventual specialized master’s degree — giving participants a head start if they ever should decide to take a deeper dive.
