The vibrant culture of this city, where everyone is so passionate about conquering their goals, is really what sets Austin apart to me. The creativity and drive that Austinites have is simply unmatched. Earning an MBA here is an experience that not everyone gets to have and for that, I am very grateful! Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Texas McCombs’ MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Apart from the class culture & location, I picked McCombs due to its deep connection to the Oil/Gas industry and Energy at large.The resources McCombs provides for those seeking Energy Finance positions and it’s deep roots to many industry leaders was incredibly compelling. What course, club or activity excites you the most at Texas McCombs? Being the GBC Class President is such an exciting opportunity and I am so grateful to lead and serve the most incredible group of bright and driven students. Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized Texas McCombs was the right program for you? Why? I knew Texas McCombs was the right program for me after many discussions with both faculty and students who had a such a contagious energy and passion for their lives at McCombs. It was that passion that created such a excitement for me that no other school had before. Joining McCombs is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment in my career thus far was getting prompted to an Investment Team Professional at Linden Advisors and having the opportunity to travel internationally to represent the firm in Norway last March at an Energy and Offshore Drilling Conference. It was an amazing experience that shaped my love for the Oil/Gas industry. Linden was a fantastic place to be apart of. Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience at McCombs successful? The biggest success that I could take from this program is maintaining lifelong friendships with my peers. I’ve been so motivated and moved by this class and taking these relationships with me throughout the many chapters of my life would be something I will cherish forever!
