Undergraduate School and Major: University of Ottawa – BASc, Biomedical Mechanical Engineering Most Recent Employer and Job Title: Assured Telematics – Solutions Engineer How has the case method enriched your learning? The case method sharpened my decision-making under pressure and strengthened my ability to lead with limited information. Discussing real-world challenges from multiple angles pushed me to step outside my technical comfort zone and appreciate business ambiguity. It’s helped me develop confidence in taking a stand and backing it up persuasively. Aside from classmates and cases, what part of the school’s MBA programming led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Ivey’s emphasis on leadership development and its tight-knit global alumni network stood out. As someone transitioning from engineering to strategic leadership, I was drawn to a program that didn’t just teach frameworks but built character. The opportunity to grow through roles like Student Ambassador and International Business Club Director has been just as transformational as the classroom. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: At Geotab, I developed predictive maintenance algorithms that saved a Fortune 500 logistics client up to $1.5M annually in downtime and repair costs. This impact deepened my passion for using data and engineering to solve high-stakes business problems. Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: It was leading Carta AI’s investor readiness for Western Angels’ Demo Day. I built our financial model, pitch deck, and demo strategy, helping secure VC interest. It was a crash course in venture-building and storytelling that combined my technical roots with my MBA training. What has been your most memorable experience as an Ivey MBA thus far? Submitting our first 24-Hour Report was an unforgettable trial-by-fire. The pressure, time crunch, and intensity forged deep bonds within my team and pushed us to trust each other’s instincts. It was the moment I truly felt what the Ivey experience is all about: resilience, collaboration, and growth under pressure. Where is your favorite hang-out in London (Ontario)? Why do you (or your classmates) gravitate there? Black Walnut Coffee has become our go-to hangout during the MBA. It offers great coffee, a relaxed vibe, and just the right setting for everything from case prep to casual catch-ups. It’s where we recharge, reflect, and reconnect outside the classroom. What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? Post-MBA, I aim to join a top-tier consulting firm to build cross-industry strategy expertise while exploring opportunities in the electric vehicle and emerging tech sectors, particularly in innovation or technical program management. Long term, I hope to launch a venture at the intersection of electric mobility, AI-driven innovation, and product development.
