What excites you the most about living in New York City and how do you see it enhancing your learning experience?  NYC’s dynamism means daily exposure to new industries, people, and ideas. These exposures will make the city an extension of the classroom and create a learning experience like no other.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of NYU Stern’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The ability to construct a personalized curriculum by selecting up to three specializations was important because it allows Stern students to have a learning experience that is both sharply focused and richly diverse.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at NYU Stern? Stern’s vast entrepreneurial resources fly under the radar. I’m most excited about tapping into the Stern entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, and taking advantage of all the founder resources Stern offers.

What does EQ (Emotional Intelligence) mean to you and when have you seen its value in your career? As humans we’re not just data crunching machines, we’re emotional beings. EQ (emotional intelligence) means being able to connect with others, have empathy, see from different perspectives, and have self-awareness to understand our own motivations and actions. I’ve seen the value of EQ while living and working abroad, where connecting across cultures required as much emotional fluency as language fluency.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Founding and growing my hybrid legaltech/fintech startup, which helps expand access to the legal system for consumer protection cases that previously lacked representation.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2027? My cross-cultural fluency and international experiences will enable me to make a big contribution to the Class of 2027. Living and working abroad taught me to navigate different business cultures, appreciate diverse perspectives, and connect across language and cultural barriers. I’m excited to bring that global perspective to Stern and help my classmates broaden their horizons and uncover opportunities that transcend borders.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into NYU Stern’s MBA program? Take full advantage of the Pick Six and use it to be creative and authentic. Use it to show your personality, experiences, passions, and what makes you unique.
