When I started in July planning to apply to 4 schools in R1, I was extremely worried. But within the first 3-4 conversations, that worry had vanished. Understanding me, she put timelines on an excel and sat through brainstorms and revisions.

Coming from a somewhat atypical non-engineer FMCG profile, I initially had my own doubts about how my story would be perceived in such a competitive applicant pool. But Shabri’s conviction and confidence in my profile and story gave me confidence in myself. She took the time to truly, deeply understand who I was, my background, my motivations and what made my journey uniquely mine. Our calls always felt like we’re building this together, and never transactional, honestly. Whether it was essays, strategy, positioning or school selection, it genuinely felt like a collaborative exercise.

For instance, I initially wanted to apply only to Harvard and Stanford, but he strongly advised building a broader school mix. That advice turned out to be critical, since I eventually got into Wharton but not H/S. Without that push, I might have walked away empty-handed.
What also stood out is that his focus isn’t just on getting you in, but on building high-quality applications overall. I wasn’t expecting any scholarship outcomes, but because of the strength of the application, I ended up receiving a significant scholarship from Wharton, which was a huge bonus.
Overall, if you’re considering working with a consultant, I would strongly recommend Rajdeep. Unless you have the time, confidence, and clarity to manage the entire process independently, he’s someone who can add real value across every stage of the application journey.

Last year, I worked with a US-based MBA consultant. While that engagement was positioned as high-touch, the hours and level of involvement were quite limited. I gained admission to a non M7 school but wanted to target the M7.

If Shabri was just an admissions consultant, this review would be quick and easy! But over the last year, she’s become very much a friend. Still, Shabri’s work and results speak for themselves, so here goes.

I first heard about Shabri through the grapevine. A friend who completed the process a year earlier told me she was one of those consultants you shouldn’t second-guess working with (if she agrees to work with you). During our first discovery call, I understood why.
