Chaya Benyamin is an experienced writer, editor, and higher education professional who began honing her expertise in international admissions as an Admissions Officer with the University of the People, where she became an expert on admissions standards and protocols from universities around the world. As Program Director for the International MA in Middle Eastern Studies at Tel Aviv University, Chaya was head of recruitment and admissions. This experience helped her to develop a wide view of competition among international students in the global arena, which she uses to help her clients’ present applications with a competitive edge.
Chaya graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a BA in English Language and Literature. Her passion for stories and storytelling led her to try her hand at academic consulting, where she excels at helping candidates realize how their unique experiences relate to their goals and helping them translate those experiences and emotions into meaningful text.
ARINGO’S roots were planted when our Founder, Gil Levi, was accepted at Harvard, Wharton, and INSEAD with a GMAT score of 650. Gil received a full, merit-based scholarship at Wharton upon admission. He formed ARINGO’s methodology based on the essay-writing tools that he originally developed as an MBA applicant.
ARINGO’S clients have been accepted to top B-schools such as Harvard, Wharton, Duke, INSEAD, MIT, LBS, and Kellogg with GMAT scores below 700. Since its inception, ARINGO’s heavy investment in research (over 3,000 man-hours and counting) has yielded a collection of invaluable resources for our clients.
ARINGO employs a Round Table Strategy with each consultant collecting expert opinions at the critical decision points throughout the application process. The final product is always reviewed by a second consultant to introduce a fresh perspective and ensure that it meets ARINGO’s standard of excellence. The collaboration within ARINGO’s team, which includes former admission committee members as well as experienced consultants with marketing and writing skills, contributes to the success of our clients’ applications.
ARINGO was founded by Gil Levi (Wharton MBA 1999), is owned by Shimri Winters (London Business School MBA 2005), and is operated and managed by Jenifer Turtschanow.
ARINGO clients who worked with Chaya were admitted to the MBA programs at Columbia, INSEAD, LBS, Kellogg, MIT, Harvard, Berkeley Haas, Wharton, Cornell Johnson, Cornell Tech, Chicago Booth, Kellogg, Duke, UCLA, USC, NYU Stern, Ross, IE, IESE, Oxford, LSE, Georgetown, McCombs, Cambridge, Tuck, and were offered scholarship such as:
$6000 {Cornell Tech} $70000 {Kellogg} €20000 {IESE} €15000 {IESE} £20000 {LBS} €13600, €20400 {IE} $20000 {Duke} $40000 {Ross}

I cannot stress enough how much the entire Aringo team helped me throughout the process of my MBA applications.
As a software engineer and programmer in a big American company, I thought the fact that I was coming from an over-represented background and pretty “regular” career will not allow me to get into a top MBA program. I was wrong! My GPA was average, and Initially, my GMAT score was 710 and I wasn’t sure I can apply to top schools.
Shimri, Chaya, Jenifer, and the team, reassured me that my GMAT is just one part of the application. After working on the applications, and receiving some confidence in my candidacy, I ended up improving my GMAT to 740. I applied to 5 schools, received 3 interviews (HBS, MIT, and Chicago), and am happily going to Chicago Booth with a full scholarship.
Yes, you can get accepted to these schools with low GMATs. I am looking forward to my Booth journey very much. So far, I know I did one right decision which was to work with ARINGO!!!
Thank you Chaya, you are the best!
