Colette comes from the MBA Admissions team at the Kellogg School of Management. As an Associate Director, Colette recruited top MBA talent from around the country and coached applications through the competitive application process (resume review, interview prep, networking advice and overall application strategy). In addition, Colette reviewed applications, interviewed candidates and made recommendations for admission.

Prior to her time at Kellogg, Colette worked in Admissions at The University of Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Liautaud Graduate School of Business. Colette holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University.

Outside of SBC, Colette provides career coaching to MBA students, supporting them with career exploration, creating powerful resumes and cover letters, preparing for behavioral interviews and more. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, yoga, and exploring new music by going to concerts.

Working with Colette was the right decision for my MBA journey. As the title implies, she was responsive, patient, and strategic. I am a hands-on client who asks many questions and finds comfort in talking things through. Colette not only fielded a tremendous number of questions and concerns in an exceptionally timely manner, but she offered additional insight above and beyond what I contemplated. She took the time to understand my strengths, weaknesses, and background and provided a clear and strategic path forward. Colette helped me on very short notice in reviewing my application and resume for a top-ranked Executive MBA program. I was nervous because I was a late applicant and I knew that the process had become more competitive by the time I applied. I purchased the 5-hour package from SBC. We had at least two review rounds wherein Colette gave some valuable strategic pointers which I believe made my application stand out. We even had time for a practice interview. I was offered an interview with the school, and I was having post-interview self-doubt, Colette was the voice of assurance. I gladly recommend her services.

I worked with Colette on an hourly basis to help me with my resume, essays, and interview prep for some top part-time programs and she was awesome! She provided timely, thoughtful, and insightful feedback, she clearly knew what she was talking about and it worked as I was admitted to both programs! I also really appreciated that even though I only hired her "by the hour" rather than a full school package, that she answered my questions even after our "time" was up! I would recommend working with Colette for sure!
