Consultant Bio

A native New Yorker, David returned to the Big Apple after nearly a decade of sojourning. He enjoys taking advantage of all its varied offerings from Broadway shows to the Dragon Boat Festival.

David has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT, as well as an M.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Columbia University. He remains very active in his alma mater, MIT, and volunteers in a variety of capacities, including as an alumni interviewer. He really enjoys working with college freshmen applicants and loves the enthusiasm they bring to the table.

From nine to five (and sometimes later), David is a Managing Partner of a consulting firm that works with global clients, specializing in management strategy with a business focus on corporate turnarounds and driving profit growth. He is also passionate about working with non-profits, particularly those that fight for civil rights and promote the arts. He serves on a number of non-profit boards with the goal of helping these organizations expand their reach in various communities.

David is an avid world traveler who lived and worked in several Asian cities, including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, for many years.
