At Ivy, the philosophy is simple: your application is our application. Here’s the thing – when we applied to MBA programs, we didn’t know what we were doing. And there was no one around to offer the type of help we needed. Would anyone be willing to review our essays and provide feedback? Were there any alumni who could advise us regarding school fit? — Frankly, we had no tools – all we had was a phone and some nerve. So half way through our MBA tracks at Kellogg and Tuck, we wanted to start a consulting firm that micromanaged the hell out of our clients. We wanted to be much more than essay editors; we are mentors.
As Ivy founders, we don’t consider our job done when we match a client with an advisor – our job is done when our client gets accepted. For that reason, we created a process that keeps at least 3 sets of eyes on your work at any given moment, from story allocation, career path, written collateral, to interview prep. If you’re not sick of us by the time you get your first congratulations letter, you must not have gotten it yet.
With over 20 years of accumulated MBA wisdom and advisors who are top-tier program veterans, we are proud to say that our anti-laissez-faire approach has proved itself big time. Ivy MBA Consulting was the first admissions consulting firm in the world to verify success rate using a Big 4 accounting firm. Deloitte confirmed both the 91.2% success rate and $2,194,000 in total scholarships of Ivy MBA Consulting in 2014-2015 application season. A copy of the report is available to any who wish to double check. Previous reports are available as well.
The day we started Ivy we were reading essays until 4am, and that hasn’t changed a decade later. That’s because Ivy MBA Consulting does not take your investment lightly. We realize this decision is not only expensive; it will have a drastic impact on your future. That is why we created a comprehensive, multistep method that follows you through every step, with every school, and every bump along the way. Our process starts with mapping your life stories – we sift through even the most trivial details to find gems that portray your character. We then take these stories to an in-depth brainstorming session involving Ivy’s veterans to come up with the best story allocation per school. Once working on essays, we offer an unlimited number of draft iterations, as well as a final quality assurance quality pass by the founders of Ivy.

I found Eli through a trusted recommendation from a colleague that I admired at work who had attended a top MBA program. Following our initial consultation call, I immediately knew that Eli was the partner I needed to navigate the MBA application process. As a deferred MBA applicant – I knew that the odds of admission where much slimmer in comparison to traditional programs due to the limited number of seats. During our initial consultation, Eli was straightforward about this fact, allowing me to reflect on my long-term career vision. Working with Eli allowed me to secure deferred admission to 3 M7’s + Harvard Business School.
Eli’s straightforward honesty was integral towards my application process. This review is long overdue, but it’s better late than never when it comes to praising Eli David, the most amazing MBA admissions consultant. I reached out to Eli after hearing from numerous friends and colleagues who had achieved their dreams with his guidance. From the very first conversation, I knew he was different.

He is a true professional and understands the delicate nuances of each and every school. Thanks to Eli, I was accepted to Booth with a merit-based scholarship!
I cannot give enough praise to Eli David (Ivy MBA Consulting), the most amazing MBA admissions consultant out there. I spoke to a few consultants but after hearing rave reviews from so many friends who had achieved their goals with his help, I knew I had to reach out to him. My target was exceptionally challenging: an M7 program with a full scholarship. The odds were not in my favor, but Eli’s confidence never wavered. Eli is brutally honest and cuts straight to the chase. His competitive nature means he expects you to invest at least as much effort as he does, which is a lot. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the MBA admissions process and, best of all, extremely accessible. Eli works around the clock, and I never had to wait for a response – I truly felt like I was his only client. Initially, I was admitted but didn’t receive the full ride. Eli guided me through strengthening my case and retrying for the scholarship. Thanks to his unbelievable support and strategic advice, I ultimately got that full ride. His remarkable accomplishment of securing my admission to MIT in Round 3, which is notoriously challenging , speaks volumes about his effectiveness and commitment. If you’re seeking an MBA consultant who goes above and beyond, Eli is the one to trust.
My wife and I applied as a couple, and both worked with Eli during the past application season.
We found Eli through P&Q after my Booth DIY application was rejected in my R1 application. Despite having only two months until the R2 deadline, Eli effectively helped us navigate the process. He carefully reviewed our materials, accurately identified the shortcomings in our application, and provided crucial support that ultimately led to our acceptance at HBS, GSB, and CBS as a couple!
Eli’s approach stands out compared to other consultants we’ve worked with in several ways: 1) He efficiently assisted us in selecting an appropriate career goal based on our background and his own experience; 2) He employed a unique evaluation system for application materials that proved to be highly effective; 3) He offered sincere and direct feedback to our application materials, continuously pushing us to exceed our limits.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with Eli during this application season, and we hope that more candidates can achieve their goals through Eli’s guidance!
I am a 3rd-time applicant for H and S. Eli got me in both. He has a strong sense of the right direction and is incredibly candid in telling you what works and what doesn’t. He is particularly good at finding out the overall image that makes the most sense for you. Call him. He is just life-changing.
I could not over-express my gratitude for Eli. He understands the real ‘art’ of MBA applications, especially for highly competitive programs like Stanford and Harvard. His guidance truly helped me anchor myself and achieved my goals – going into the process, I only had one school that I wanted to attend: GSB. No other schools mattered. I had good work experiences but my GPA was below GSB’s average. Knowing the low admission rate of 6%, it was naturally a daunting process, and I was clueless on how to tackle the giant. Eli gets what makes an application unique that stands out from a large pool: the essay. He took the lead and really helped shape the entire application from start to finish that I also felt satisfied to submit – I felt that even if I don’t get in, this is the story I would like to tell about myself. We workshopped a lot in the beginning to get to the most defining aspects of my life and turned it into a beautiful essay. When I received the physical acceptance letter from GSB, the admissions director hand-wrote on my letter saying how much she was touched from it. This is a result inseparable from Eli and his team’s work.
Aside from the essay, Eli was also fully responsible for all other parts of the application, including interview prep and resume building. I had zero friction working with him and his team – he was always available and his communication style is straight to the point. He has a great attention to detail that perfected all of my materials.
If you are aiming for top tier programs while getting through the process smoothly without any fluff, he IS your guy! I would recommend him to any of my friends who are thinking of applying.
Eli is absolutely incredible! I went into the MBA application process quite nervous, but Eli’s coaching and feedback enabled me to tell my authentic story – and the MBA programs saw that too! I applied to HBS, Stanford, and Wharton, received interviews at all three schools, and gained admission into HBS and Wharton!!! I could not be more happy with my decision.
The devil is in the details, and what sets Eli apart is his meticulous feedback at every step of the process. He is incredibly thorough and constantly pushed me to dig deeper, whether that was with the resume, the essays, or the short-answer questions sprinkled throughout every application. Additionally, Eli is ALWAYS available. I could send an email or pick up the phone and he would be on the other end, willing to talk for as long as I needed. The MBA application process is not easy, and Eli was always there to answer my questions. Lastly, Eli is invested. He cares about my passions and my success as much as I do. From the countless hours of conversations to the congratulations phone call, Eli was my champion. Having that throughout the application process made all the difference in the world.
Eli David is so amazing, and I know that I would not be here without him! I truly cannot make a higher recommendation.
I reached out to Eli based on recommendations from two friends who had worked with him and had only praise for his services. After discussing with 2-3 more consultants, I knew that Eli was the one I wanted to work with. His absolute honesty in telling me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear stood out from the first moment, and I immediately felt he was the right consultant for me. From our first discussion, which took place about a year before starting the formal process, Eli provided insightful recommendations on how to utilize the time until beginning the applications in the best possible way. I found all of his suggestions to be very accurate, and they positioned me significantly better for the process. Eli’s exceptional knowledge about each school and its unique characteristics was mind-blowing to me. He assisted in selecting the right schools to target according to my goals and helped plan an overall strategy for handling all the applications and determining which ones should be prioritized. In each part of the application, I felt Eli was pushing me to my absolute edge and not compromising for anything less than perfection. His attention to even the smallest details led me to submit applications that I couldn’t be prouder of, ones I had only dreamed of when I first started. I ultimately was accepted to NYU, which was one of my top choices due to its location in NYC, with a full scholarship. I know for a fact that I could not have achieved such a result without Eli, and I’m extremely thankful for choosing him to guide me through the process.
I embarked on a transformative 10-month journey with Eli, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From our first contact to the happy moment when I received acceptance letters from two M7 schools, Eli was the driving force behind my success.
Eli’s commitment to pushing me to excel in my application was evident from day one. Even when I thought my stories were flawless, Eli’s keen eye provided a fresh perspective and unearthed highlights that I hadn’t considered. His dedication to extracting the best from my experiences allowed me to present myself in a way that truly stood out.
Navigating a complex background that didn’t neatly align with typical business school expectations, Eli proved to be a master storyteller. He skillfully distilled the essence of my journey, crafting a narrative that showcased my unique strengths and achievements in the most professional and compelling manner.
What truly set Eli apart was his accessibility and prompt responsiveness. Every question, every concern, and every request met with an exceptional level of attention. Eli’s responsiveness was not just timely; it was a testament to his commitment to my success.
In conclusion, Eli’s guidance was instrumental in my acceptance to two M7 schools.
I had a wonderful experience working with Eli on my MBA applications! His expert knowledge and understanding about the admissions process and business schools allows him to provide valuable insights. As demonstrated by his previous reviews, he is a veteran of MBA admissions and has helped numerous individuals be successfully admitted over the years to the top business schools. He will work meticulously with you on every step of the application and is straightforward and to the point in his feedback. He is not afraid to push you to rethink an idea or rework an essay to meet the highest standards, giving you the confidence that you are putting your best foot forward. He was extremely generous in providing guidance whilst I was preparing for the GMAT, even before I had made the formal decision to apply for an MBA and to work with him.
Eli’s availability and commitment is second to none – he responds super quickly and is always there to answer questions or provide reassurance and work with you through this journey. He was encouraging throughout and extremely approachable. He continues to be supportive of you and your career even after your applications which is amazing!
I am so grateful to have worked with him and will be going to my dream school later this year!
Eli has been an absolute game-changer in my MBA application journey. His professionalism, in-depth knowledge of each school’s nuances, and availability set him apart as the best option in the market. Eli’s guided me through the process with clarity and precision. His responsiveness and support made a significant impact, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a top-tier MBA consultant. Got into HBS and MIT in round 1, couldn’t have done it without him.
I’ve been privileged to work with Eli for a considerable time. During this time, I’ve seen firsthand his expertise and skill in guiding me through the complex process of applying to prestigious programs. To my delight, I was recently admitted to three M7 programs, and even received a scholarship in one of them! This is a testament to the hard work and dedication that Eli and I put into the application process.
Eli has an exceptional ability to help me figure out how best to present myself compellingly and authentically. He has a keen eye for identifying one’s strengths and how to showcase them effectively. Eli is a master in the art of storytelling, and he helped me shine my best colors. This was instrumental in helping me stand out in a pool of highly competitive applicants.
With his many years of experience in this field, Eli worked closely with me on every part of my application. He was meticulous in his approach, helping me perfect every aspect of it with a keen understanding of the unique nuances that each part holds.
In light of the success I’ve experienced, I felt compelled to recommend Eli to a friend who was also embarking on a similar journey. I am thrilled to report that my friend had favorable results as well. This, to me, further solidifies Eli’s expertise in this field and his ability to help many more students achieve their goals.
Here is a recommendation from someone who just got admitted into Booth with a full-ride scholarship! Generally, the application process to your dream school can be very frustrating, with lots of ups and downs. In this important stage of your life, you would want a trustworthy guy next to you. I cannot overestimate the value of a good consultant. When I conducted market research among different consultants, after my first call to Eli, I felt that he was different from the others. He was so professional and quickly got a perception of who I am, giving me the feeling that he was 100% with me in this process, no matter what, and that my success would be his success. I have come to understand that Eli is the best choice for me. Now, in hindsight, I could not have chosen a better match for this mission.
During the application process, Eli not only guided me through every little step in this exhausting journey, but he also knew how to draw out the best in me. I really loved the outcome of our work together. In total, I spent hour upon hour talking with Eli, refining every single word in my essays, and there is no way I would have achieved this high level of essays without him. He has lots of experience, and that is prominent!
On a personal level, I so appreciate his genuine, honest, and straightforward approach. He would tell you exactly what he thinks is best for you without filtering, and he was super available at any time for any question I had… Not a single question that he couldn’t answer. I also felt that he was invested in this process almost more than I was, which is so appreciable and not obvious at all for a consultant who works with other clients at the same time.
I am so happy I chose to work with Eli, and I highly recommend him! He is the one who will lead you to achieve your prestigious goals throughout this long journey. So don’t miss this opportunity. Good luck, everyone!
I recently had the privilege of working with Eli as my admissions consultant for the MBA application process, and I felt compelled to share my experience, especially considering the impact he had on my successful admissions to Booth and MIT. Searching for a MBA consultant, my interactions with several consultants left me feeling that they didn’t truly grasp the nuances of my story. However, my first call with Eli transformed my perspective entirely. He exuded a level of understanding and appreciation for the uniqueness of my profile that immediately instilled confidence in me. Eli wasted no time in acknowledging the distinctiveness of my profile and assuring me that I had a genuine chance. His ability to creatively connect the dots in my non-traditional background was nothing short of impressive. Through our collaboration, he guided me in ways I hadn’t considered, adding a creative dimension to my application that I wouldn’t have achieved on my own. What set Eli apart was his availability. It often felt like he was on call almost 24/7. As deadlines approached, his dedication became even more evident. Eli matched, if not exceeded, my own level of effort, tirelessly reviewing and refining my essays until they reached perfection. I particularly appreciated Eli’s no-nonsense approach. If something wasn’t right, he didn’t hesitate to raise a flag. This direct and honest feedback was invaluable in shaping my application into its best possible form. The true testament to Eli’s expertise came when I received acceptance letters from Booth and MIT Sloan—schools that initially seemed like a distant dream. Eli’s guidance and strategic approach proved instrumental in turning those dreams into reality. He is undeniably a magician in the world of MBA admissions, and I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to him if you’re serious about transforming your prospects. Buckle up and call Eli; he’s a game-changer.
First things first – I wouldn’t have been admitted to Stanford GSB if it weren’t for Eli! Eli truly cares about your story. Our first conversation lasted over an hour, during which we delved deep into who I am, what led me to this point, and my aspirations, revealing things even my closest friends didn’t know about me. Beyond being a consultant Eli was also my mentor. He guided me through navigating career choices and decisions regarding retaking the GMAT (again and again!), even before I officially hired him. What sets him apart is his consistent honesty – there’s no pushy sales pitch or false promises. If he takes you on as a client, it’s because he genuinely believes in your potential. He won’t advocate for applying to any school unless he sees a real chance of success. His approach is highly pragmatic. Don’t expect sugarcoating or false hope – he’s here to be straightforward and critical. He’s sharp and emotionally intelligent, able to identify a good (or bad) story from the first sentence. Another amazing thing about working with Eli was his rapid availability and responsiveness, despite significant time zone differences. Whether it was a quick email or detailed feedback, he consistently replied within 24 hours, if not sooner. In the crucial two weeks leading up to the application deadline, it felt like he was online 24/7, providing support, positivity, and motivation when I needed it the most.
I truly couldn’t have achieved it without Eli’s expertise and mentorship. I couldn’t recommend him more!
I chose to collaborate with Eli based on his outstanding reputation and the warm recommendations I received from friends who had worked with him and successfully gained admission to top MBA programs. From our initial conversation, I sensed that he was the right person to guide me through this process, and today I can confidently affirm that it was the best choice I could have made.
Even before starting to work on the application itself, Eli’s exceptional experience was evident as he provided valuable insights regarding schools, scholarship opportunities, and various professional aspects, which played a crucial role in helping me select the programs to apply for.
Throughout the entire process, what truly made working with Eli so exceptional was his true professionalism. In a highly skilled manner, he managed to bring out the best in me, helping to leverage all my life experiences to create an application that showcased my strengths. He consistently challenged me to think more deeply and aim higher, leaving no loose ends in crafting the perfect version of each part of the application.
Moreover, Eli assisted me in preparing for the interviews, and his advice was crucial to my success. He guided me in shaping my answers, worked on refining my tone and self-presentation, and conducted numerous mock interviews that played a key role in building my confidence and presenting the best version of myself in real-time.
What was also remarkable was Eli’s great accessibility. Even during weekends, he was always available, patiently answering any question I had. He provided honest and constructive feedback in a timely manner, which was very helpful, especially before the application deadlines.
I am really glad I chose to work with Eli. Thanks to his unwavering commitment, I secured acceptance to two top MBA programs. Thank you, Eli, for helping me achieve my goal!
I had my call with Eli after having talked with 3 other consultants. What impressed me about Eli was that he was the only one who did not try to sell me on his relationships various ex-adcoms. Instead, Eli went straight into interviewing me about my background and aspirations to understand if he would be able to get me into a top program. After another hour long phone call discussing myself, Eli said that he would take me on.
I had only 6 weeks from when I first talked to Eli to when applications were due, so I worked tirelessly to get them ready. Eli worked with me every step of the way to help me prioritize correctly and give direction on what stood out in my application and what needed work. Eli is very straightforward and doesn’t say something is good unless he actually means it. This meant a lot of iterations on essays, but I believe it really was integral for me getting into school. I applied to HBS, GBS, and Haas. I got into GBS and Haas with $$.
Having Eli as your consultant is a great way to ensure you will have a stellar application and maximize your chances of getting into a top business school.
It is hard for me to express my enormous appreciation for Eli and his work. From the first conversation to the conversation in which I informed him that I had been accepted into the MBA program that I wanted, he presented impressive professional abilities that always made me feel that “I am in good hands.”
I came to Eli through a recommendation from a friend who was accepted into Stanford’s MBA program. After examining several consultants in the market, I concluded that Eli’s service was the most efficient and effective for me, a decision that turned out to be correct and triumphant.
First, in application essays and interview preparations, Eli knew the best way to express my abilities, professional experience, and ambitions for the future. In addition, Eli was available and always answered all my questions, providing constructive comments and recommendations for applying effectively and convincingly. Moreover, one of Eli’s great strengths is the ability to prepare the candidate for interviews in the best possible way, both personal and group interviews, while adapting to the requirements of the specific MBA programs.
I do not think I would have been able to get admitted into the MBA program and a scholarship without Eli’s consultancy in the application process. I highly recommend him and am convinced that anyone who chooses him will be able to fulfill his academic ambitions.
Having been recommended by friends who successfully gained admission to top schools, I was eager to connect with Eli, the MBA admissions consultant. I would also point out Eli’s honesty in feedback, particularly when it’s negative. He won’t sugarcoat things; he’ll provide straightforward assessments, calling it as it is. This frank approach might be challenging, but it delivers the highest quality output and is a testament to his dedication to your growth and success.

I found that his candid approach helped me understand what I needed to do to make my application stronger. Overall, I am extremely grateful for Eli’s guidance and support throughout the entire application process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to apply to a top MBA program.
Getting my desired GMAT score took me a while and throughout the process, I developed a close relationship with my GMAT teacher. I figured that as he had taught hundreds if not thousands of MBA applicants, he would know to recommend a consultant who has proven to get the job done. He recommended Eli saying “if Eli decides to take you, you will be going to a top MBA with a 95% chance”.
I could not have made a better choice, my profile being very unconventional and with significant gaps resulting in other consultants not believing I would be competitive for the top schools, Eli on the other hand saw beyond. He did not only help me get interviewed at 3 of the top 5 MBA programs but also managed to help me get a full scholarship at one of them.
Eli has a good understanding of what schools are looking for and the recommendations he give me on how to approach the application process were extremely valuable. The process with Eli is through love, he will be critical of your work and brutally honest. In my case, it has brought the best out in me without question and his direct and honest feedback helped me trust his word and judgment.
I am also grateful for Eli’s commitment to me as a client. He helped me put together applications for all the schools I wanted to apply to in a very short time frame without compromising on the quality. He has also found time to make himself very available and provide feedback in a timely manner and has continued to do so also months later after the application process was over.
Eli helped bring the best out of me and saw potential in me where others did not and I am very grateful to him for helping me achieve my goals.
I highly recommend working with Eli when applying to business school. For me, the most important piece of advice in this process is to work with someone who is very honest and realistic but at the same time will not discourage you. Eli is exactly that. He is familiar with the schools’ application process, what they are looking for, what will catch their eye, and how to tell your story In the best and most appealing way that will flatter and intensify you but at the same time will show who you are as a person. His approach is straight to the point, cuts through all the nonsense, and doesn’t make things pretty when they shouldn’t be. He finds the right angles to tell the story and directs the application to shine above others. In this process, which can be long and frustrating, Eli never compromises on quality and uniqueness. He is always pushing to find the best idea, approach, and unique answer to the question at hand. His creativity and line of thinking help to develop a story that is in line with each school’s DNA. He is knowledgeable, up-to-date with school policies and questions and his years of experience with the admissions process are invaluable. On top of that, he is approachable, always available, reliable with timelines, and will always be there even after the application. Eli is the best choice I made, he highly assisted in making my dreams come true.
In doing my research I had spoken to many application consultants. Some I felt were trying to sell me something, and others felt like a big machine where they would simply apply a certain framework on me. When I spoke to Eli it felt very different. We first spoke about me. My story, my goals, my interests. I felt heard and understood. My background and profile are not the most straightforward, yet Eli immediately identified which areas to highlight and I liked it a lot. Over the whole process, Eli was incredibly attentive, available, and approachable. I am a person who tends to worry and overthink, and Eli was always there to jump on a call, explain the rationale of a certain step, and give me confidence. His very straightforward and no-BS approach makes for a highly efficient way of working together, which was extremely helpful given most of us are very busy already in our day to day jobs. Now to the magic that Eli creates: If someone told me a few months ago I would receive an offer from both Wharton and Stanford, I would not have believed it. I do not have a 4.0 undergrad GPA and my working experience is not exactly by the book, yet Eli helped me find ways to connect my personal and professional achievements in the most beautiful way possible. To summarize, you better be ready to have your dreams come true 🙂
I highly recommend working with Eli for anyone seeking assistance with their MBA/executive MBA application process. Wli was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, from brainstorming essay ideas, and making the most out of my resume and recommendation letters, to reviewing my final application materials.
Eli has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the MBA admissions process and was able to provide valuable insights and guidance to help me craft a strong and compelling application. He was always available to answer my questions and provided timely feedback on all of my materials.
Overall, I am extremely grateful for the assistance and support provided by him. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to improve their chances of getting accepted into a top MBA program.
I reached out to Eli after getting very warm recommendations from 3 different friends of mine. The call I had with him clarified that he is the right person to work with on this challenging task – sharp, sincere, got my vibe in no time, and very committed to my success. Out of 6 schools I applied to (HBS, GSB, Wharton, Sloan, Booth, CBS) I got interviews with all of them (!) and got admitted to 3 including HBS which was my top choice. If you want to be sure you’re getting the best result, with the highest standard and without cutting corners – Eli is your person! (-) Eli will always be honest and straightforward about the quality of essays, about what you can improve and how to do it, and as ‘god is in the details’ – it will take you exactly where you want to be. (-) Eli has years of experience, and it seems like nothing surprises him. He knows the DNA of every top school and will help you craft your best application and have the best chances to make it into the programs you want the most! (-) He is sharp and fast in giving answers and identifying the right direction to go in the story you choose to tell. I highly recommend Eli as an MBA consultant!! Good luck.
I highly recommend working with Eli. I called two MBA application consultants on the evening of completing my GMAT and chose Eli because of a friend’s recommendation and his no-nonsense communication style. It’s the highest amount of money I ever spent on something, and absolutely worth it. Since I had only a month left until the deadline we started working the next day.
Eli was extremely flexible, easy to reach, and effective. There was a significant time difference between us, which never hindered our collaboration. In fact, it meant I could expect updated documentation when I woke up, and sometimes even have another version reviewed before the end of the day. For every essay, he translated what the school was really after and recommended structures before going into first drafts. One of the hardest parts of the application for me was the personal essay. Eli helped me uncover the key elements of my story by pulling details out of me and emphasizing my unique qualities. Looking back at this stage of the process, Eli’s experience, attention to detail, and direct feedback style really helped me push to highlight the unique and ‘impressive’ elements of my story in all parts of the application. I would have definitely missed important aspects or worded them in a less effective way if I had not worked with Eli, and I got to know myself better in the process.
Eli’s help did not stop after we submitted my application. He practiced video essays and interviews with me, going over the structure of key questions and practicing delivery over video calls or through voice notes on WhatsApp. He also reviewed my scholarship essays, and I am very fortunate to have received a significant scholarship for my year at INSEAD with Eli’s help.
Overall, he is very involved: Eli was probably more annoyed than I was when things didn’t go according to plan with recommenders or interviews. He is one of the first people I called to share the news of my acceptance: we did it together!
First things first: the result. I only applied to three schools – GSB, HBS, and Wharton. I got an interview at HBS and got into Wharton.
If you would’ve told me that I’d get this result a year back, I would’ve probably laughed. I had absolutely no knowledge about the MBA process when I started the journey. I talked to around 10 MBA consultants, all of whom told me that I am a male software engineer from an over-represented pool, with absolutely no official leadership experience. I stood no chance at HSW and shouldn’t bother wasting my/their time. Nothing against them – probably this is the harsh reality of MBA admissions. Given I was already well settled in my career and was leading a good life, I didn’t want to leave my job for anything less than HSW.
I was about to give up on the idea of an MBA when I got on a call with Eli. This call was completely different from the others. While others were focused on my stats, achievements, and boxes I checked, Eli was interested in my story. In my initial call itself, he forced me to open up and really tell him who I was. We talked for more than an hour and in that hour I told him things about myself that even my closest friends didn’t know. He wasn’t interested in my numbers, he was interested in me. When no one believed in me (not even me), Eli was the only one who thought that the “real me” had a shot.
Eli’s approach is very pragmatic – if you’re looking for someone who sugarcoats things or someone who gives you false hope or someone you can bullshit, he is NOT your guy. He is going to be straightforward and critical. He made me write 12 drafts for small answers in the application form and very bluntly called me out the moment I started slacking.
One of the best aspects of working will Eli was that he was always available. Preparing an MBA application while working full-time was a challenging task. I don’t know how he does it but it feels like the guy is always just a call away. With Eli, I never had to wait hours/days to get even the smallest of doubts/questions answered.
In Eli, you will find a close partner for your applications. He is not only an application consultant but a great mentor – he helped me immensely in navigating my career choices and decisions. He helped me plan my MBA admissions journey even before I hired him. This gave me the confidence to take the jump into this long and daunting journey.
Eli’s organization doesn’t have the fanciest of presence like many other consultants today and may give the first impression of not being at par with them. But in today’s world of glamour and noise, Eli is the real deal. I’m here only because of him. Please go and sign up with him – You’ll make the best decision of your life!!!
Stanford, Wharton, and more, and I couldn’t do it without Eli and Sharon. I got to know Eli from a couple of colleagues at my work who received offers from HBS and Stanford as well. I had no doubt that I will work with Ivy MBA consulting but had no idea about how significant the added value was. From the first call with Eli, I felt as if he completely understood what I wanted to say and what were my most important strengths. This demonstrated itself later on during the work on the documents. The brainstorming and ideation processes were such that my narrative was much stronger than what I had initially thought. Throughout the process I felt that Eli and Sharon were fully committed to my success, they were extremely accessible and set up an amazing work atmosphere. I was incredibly happy to call them after each call from the adcom. Thank you!!
I am writing this review today after almost two months of getting the great news from two M7 schools I was admitted to. I just had a conversation with Eli about scholarship strategy and how to handle this sensitive topic vis-à-vis the schools. Yes – even after 2 months, Eli is here, available for every question and is so happy to help. This was the case throughout the entire process.
Choosing to work with Eli was not difficult. After speaking with many advisers, the call with Eli was very different. He was the sharpest of them all and was able to show me different approaches that other advisers did not. I felt much more confident and the choice was easy. The name of the game is standing out and through a reflection process, Eli helped me understand what stood out in my profile.
Eli was extremely dedicated throughout the process. He was (and still is) happy to help. He is accessible and I could always reach him – a crucial advantage for this process. But more than anything, Eli is extremely passionate about his work. He dives into the discussions and shares a lot of options and details on how to convey each story. In case of a disagreement, you can feel he is fully engaged and would help me make the right choice.
I could not have chosen a better partner for the MBA application process. I can say with confidence that Eli is.
If you’re an applicant from a non-traditional background, you simply must connect with Eli. When I decided to apply for an MBA, I approached Eli. It was about a year away from submission. I didn’t have the long track record of business successes that many applicants bring to the table. Eli gave me the honest (brutal) truth about my chances and it was not easy to hear. When I decided I wanted to go for it regardless, Eli guided me on what I should do over the following months to increase my chance. This included actions in various areas of life, not only the professional one. With Eli’s consistent guidance and extensive knowledge, I secured admission to INSEAD.
Through every step of the application process, Eli worked on turning my non-traditional background into a strength, not a liability. A powerful motivator, Eli has an exceptional ability to listen closely to his clients to uncover a clear narrative that speaks to admissions committees. Eli put me back on track when I got discouraged. He also pushed me to look at my own story from different angles, asking astute questions to sculpt my life experience into worthy material that spoke to what the school was looking for.
It often felt as if Eli has an encyclopedic knowledge of schools and admissions processes. He was always available, offering a quick turnaround at every step of the process. He became a fatherly but authoritative figure who truly changed my life by unlocking my potential. Beyond helping me craft clear, powerful content, Eli also worked with expert editors to ensure my writing was of professional quality.
Bottom line: If you’re serious about getting into business school, Eli is your best choice!
After speaking with 6 different consultants, I decided on Ivy Consulting because of Eli — his straightforward manner cut through all of the noise around what I thought I ‘should’ be doing in my applications, and helped me figure out the best path forward in my applications for me personally. I looked at schools in both Europe and the US, and Eli was one of the only consultants I spoke with that had an in-depth understanding of the nuances of the process in both regions. He always made himself available to have a call and talk through the questions I had (and there were many). With Eli’s help, I’m headed to INSEAD in the fall and could not be happier with my choice of consultant.
Professionalism, knowledge, guidance, availability and positivity.
These are the words that describe Eli and the process I have gone through with him, in getting admittance to MIT Sloan and Kellogg. My two dream schools.
If there is one thing you should not skip is having an intro call with Eli. He gave me so many things to think about that no one else even thought of during my calls before. He knows EVERYTHING there is to know in the MBA domain and was able to guide me into building the best, most crafted strategy for the schools. I had strengths in me I wasn’t even aware of until Eli pointed them out. Every story we thought about turned out to be amazing on paper and I felt it was 100% who I am. I was happy with every single document I submitted and this was my number one priority.
Many before me (if not everyone) talked about Eli’s availability. In speaking with friends who went through the process with other advisers, I understood how lucky I was and how Eli invests himself in the process. I rarely waited for more than a day to get back any document I sent with fully detailed comments for me to work on. Eli gave me his personal number and I called him often with no need to schedule in advance. Sometimes we spoke for two minutes and sometimes for half an hour. I never once had doubts about meeting deadlines.
What also helped me a lot is Eli’s confidence and positivity. This process is not an easy one and yes – Eli demands a lot. He expected a high level of commitment from me and was more than willing to invest in the same. That’s why his positivity throughout the process helped me go through and maybe even enjoy it at times.
I cannot see how I would have done it without Eli and cannot recommend him enough!
I’ll start with the results- I got admitted to Booth, Columbia, Kellogg (80K scholarship), and Yale (full scholarship) with a GMAT slightly lower than the schools’ average. I am delighted with the results and the application process. I could only do it with Eli’s help, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to apply.
I first learned of Eli from former workmates he got Into Harvard and Booth. It was a great decision working with him. He was direct and straight to the point from the first moment, always attentive to detail. He provided excellent feedback on essays, resumes, videos, and interviews.
He perfected and planned every area we worked on. He worked tirelessly to help me perfect my story. He spent extended time with me to build an excellent outline for the essays, paying attention to details. I worked with Eli on numerous drafts until we felt they were perfect. After I was done with essays, he helped me practice for my interview, allowing me to pass 80% of my interviews. Through every step of the process, I spent hours of work with Eli, who was always available and provided feedback swiftly.
Overall- I got the result that I wanted. My goal was to get accepted to one school, and I got accepted to four target schools with significant scholarships. Through the process, Eli was professional and the consultant that I could have asked. Thank you very much!
Eli is very structured in his approach and helped demystify the process from start to finish. He has a keen sense of what admissions officers are looking for and worked tirelessly with me to help craft a cohesive story that would weave through my essays, experiences, resumes, interviews and all other aspects of the application process. Eli does not mince words and is very direct in his feedback, so you will develop thick skin by the end of the process!
For someone who was simultaneously moving countries and working a demanding job, I really appreciated his efficiency and promptness. I would highly recommend working with Eli for your MBA application needs. I owe him a lot of credit for helping me get accepted to Harvard and Wharton.
I first heard of Eli from a few friends who worked with him and got into top MBA programs. After our initial call, I didn’t look any further. Eli understood exactly where I came from and how I wanted to approach the application. He exposed me to schools that fit me better than I initially thought. But this was just the start. The work with Eli exceeded everything I expected. Eli was knowledgeable in every area of the application and around it. For every dilemma I presented, he explained the options and suggested the best course of action. It was the case for the bigger questions and the smallest ones. In the more creative essays (What matters most for example), Eli demonstrated the creativity of a Novel writer which made me re-fall in love with my own story. I felt that I was in great hands and I cannot emphasize enough how important this is in such a process. Another game-changer was Eli’s availability, turnaround time, and how easy and comfortable it is to approach him. First, he never limited the length of our calls or how much we could invest in an area. For one of the major essays, we spent well above 2 hours in just brainstorming. Eli responded within a day to all the documents I sent with very detailed and constructive comments. He gave me a direct number and I was able to reach him mornings and evenings. Again, this was such an important thing as my work is very time-consuming and I needed flexibility. There were so many other things that were done perfectly, starting with helping me network and connecting me to other students and alumni, through the meticulous editing, all the way to the interview preparation. The bottom line is I got into Stanford, my dream school, in a very competitive year. I couldn’t have done it without Eli’s support.
I reached out to Eli after I received warm recommendations from friends who were accepted to Harvard and worked with him on their applications in the past. At first, I hesitated since I wasn’t sure I needed a consultant, but today I am so grateful for their recommendations and for Eli’s support and guidance.
Eli was the best consultant I could ask for to accompany me in the long application process. He was super professional and to the point, he guided me throughout the application, highlighted important angles, helped me to surface my achievements, and supported me in building a strong candidacy.
I recommend Eli without reservation!
I called Eli the same day I finished my GMAT. The moment the phone call was over, I knew I had found the person I wanted to work with on my application. Even though time was not on our side (we had exactly 8 weeks until admission), I knew I was in great hands. Everything was under control throughout the entire process, and I could feel every step of the way how Eli helped me in perfecting my application and achieving the best possible result. On top of that, I knew I could always count on him, even with questions and matters that weren’t directly connected to the application process. Eli was by my side every step of this long journey. I was admitted to my dream school – HBS (alongside other top-class MBA programs..), and I know Eli played a vital part. For that, I will always be deeply grateful to him!
My work with Eli started when I was still “feeling the water” regarding an MBA. Eli was recommended to me by two friends who were admitted to Harvard and Duke, and he provided initial advice based on my personal background and aspirations. From the beginning, I saw that Eli was able to hit the points I was concerned about and show how to remedy those.
When I made my decision to move forward with the application, Eli articulated very clearly what was expected from me as an applicant and how he would help me get there, and he was available for me almost 24/7 throughout the process even though we live in exact opposites of the world.
Eli started by building the overall strategy for my application and how to best position me to the admissions committee. Things were very clear from the get-go. Following that, Eli was helping me craft my story and highlight the most important parts of my academic and professional careers, as well as my best personality traits. While writing the essays, we went through as many iterations as needed to have the most compelling essay for each school I applied to, and Eli made sure it was with the best level of English it could be.
When it came to my resume, even though I worked with career consultants and was positive I had the best resume in hand, when I started working with Eli, we did an entire resume overhaul. I had no idea my resume could be so much better than it already was, and to test it I used it to apply to new jobs. Not only I got way more interview invitations than before – with some leading to actual new job offers – but I was constantly commended for my resume itself.
Eli helped my prepare for my conversations with my recommenders and come up with the best talking points I would want each one of them to emphasize when writing my recommendation letters. Eli was able to extract from me the best stories, work examples, and professional achievements from each position that could be beneficial in the letters.
Eli also provided me with the right tools to approach admissions representatives from different schools, which was valuable, as he rightfully emphasized that each conversation should be treated as an interview by itself rather than a casual small talk.
Lastly, when the time came for me to interview to several schools, Eli and his team helped me prepare through a series of several mock interviews, giving me very strong points for improvement and ways to articulate myself in the best way possible.
As a result of my work with Eli, I received several admission offers, with scholarships of over $130K.
I would strongly recommend Eli to any person considering applying to a business school, and that is not only because of the products of the process and the results, but also because this entire process could be overwhelming, stressful, and confusing, and Eli was always there to clarify, provide guidance, debunk myths I kept hearing from random people, and make it as clear as possible what I had to do at each step.
I worked with Eli on my deferred MBA applications and I highly recommend him. Eli was extremely organized and had a great system that got my application completed way sooner than I expected! Eli always makes himself available and is very hands-on with all the work – giving direct critique. I strongly recommend Eli as a consultant for any MBA application. He clearly knows what the school is looking for and how to structure your application to meet those wants.
After having initial meetings with a number of consultants, I decided on Eli, and could not be happier with the result of the process. Eli takes his time to fully understand the candidate, peeling back layers to uncover the true ‘why’ behind your application. He then works with you to build an incredibly cohesive school-specific narrative. Eli is meticulous with each component of the application and is relentless in helping you become the strongest candidate possible. His direct and thoughtful approach not only helped me build an incredible application but also helped me feel 10x more comfortable in my interviews, as I was prepared for any question thrown my way. Unlike other consultants, Eli would always get back to me with revisions to essays, answers to my questions, or feedback within 24 hours, and usually much faster. In doing so, he really makes you feel like you are his partner in this process, and that you are his number 1 priority. Truly, I would recommend Eli without reservation.
I highly recommend Eli for anyone who is looking for a direct, concise, and thorough advisor to help with the admissions process. Eli helped me get into my dream school.
Working with Eli can be challenging, as he demands a lot of you and does not waste time on pleasantries. He is very direct, and will clearly articulate when you are not providing what is needed to succeed in the process. This applies to his feedback on your resume, essays, interview, and more. While your work will remain very much your own, Eli with work tirelessly with you to ensure you are most apt and representing your accomplishments in every aspect of the process. He makes himself available at all times, via email or WhatsApp, and does not hesitate to spend the time needed to support you.
Chose Eli without hesitation. He will help you get the job done.
I led a very comprehensive process to choose my MBA adviser, and cannot be happier with choosing Eli and his team. I chose them after Eli and I had a few calls and he dedicated all the time I needed to answer my questions and let me feel comfortable. Furthermore, before signing, I learned that he got my friend into HBS and her husband to MIT Sloan which made the decision easier. From the first session, I knew I made the right choice. Eli knew how to guide me in the best way that helped me bring out the best material. He had a very deep knowledge of every school and helped me understand exactly what is the admission actually looking for in each of the documents we worked on. We brainstormed a lot over the phone about each document until Eli was happy with the content. He then helped me build the right outline so that I can easily create the first draft later on. We then exchanged versions until Eli was happy with the result – and it wasn’t easy to get him to this point, as he seeks perfection in every document. A lot have talked about Eli’s availability and….so will I. It is unbelievable how quick it is to get an answer or to have him on the phone. I had his direct WhatsApp and texted him every time I had a question or needed support. He responded immediately (not sure if he ever goes to sleep…) – and his response time for the documents I sent him was also very fast. Typically, 1 day. 2 days at the latest. Most important than anything else – I felt that I submitted something that is authentic. It was me, and I was accurately represented in all these words. Eli was supporting me all along and made sure I will be on my A-game even when I was challenged. He was great to work with and I could really feel he wanted me to succeed. When I was finally admitted to the first of 2 schools, Eli was so happy as if he was admitted himself. Thank you Eli for all the work!!!
Eli helped a lot during the process of developing my own story, he gave advice about changes I had to make and it worked! I was admitted to HBS which was my dream school. I really appreciate the time that Eli took to review all the essays, he is a perfectionist and very attentive to detail. I had a busy agenda working from 9 to 7, but Eli always reminded me about the importance of this process and the time I had to dedicate to make my applications outstanding. I can tell you the process is not easy because Eli is strict and he wants you to dedicate a good amount of time to develop your applications, but this is what is really needed to get accepted to a top10 school. I want to thank Eli for his patience and because I believe he demands and promotes the best quality in every material that he reviews. I totally recommend working with Eli to get great results in this very competitive and long process to submit an MBA application.
During my MBA application process, I spoke with many different MBA consultants – but truly Eli was the best of the best. From the moment that we spoke, he truly cared about every last detail of my application. He was strategic and helped me shape my story in the most compelling way possible. I was accepted into my top choice NYU Stern and would not have been able to do it without his support.
Before I say anything about the process, here is the most important thing you should know – I came to look for a consultant, but with Ivy, I found real partners. I worked with Eli and Sharon on a round 2 application and ended up with results that I could not be happier with: I was admitted to Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton. For an excellent application, you need both a great strategy and flawless execution. Ivy has the perfect combination. Eli and Sharon helped me connect the dots in my own personal story in a way that would best resonate with the admissions offices. They are extraordinary storytellers and they were as accurate as it gets in helping me choose the best strategy for my application. Once I had the strategy in place – they also worked tirelessly, under super stressed timelines, to bring this strategy to life and to put it on paper in the best way possible. Eli is super honest, super responsive, and knows how to keep you at your ease in tough points along the process – by helping you stay optimistic and realistic. Guess what – he is usually right. Personally, I had a dilemma whether to submit my application in round 2, or wait another year for the next round 1. The situation was even more complex as a colleague from my office (who also worked with Eli and Sharon!) was just admitted to HBS, Stanford, and Wharton. Eli helped me reach the right decision and accurately predicted the outcomes, thus helping me avoid losing another year and guiding me towards this phenomenal joint achievement. I would highly highly recommend choosing these awesome partners. You’ll maximize your chances, and learn how to work like a real pro.
I worked with Eli and Sharon Klapka for this MBA cycle and couldn’t be happier with the results. I was accepted to both Wharton and MIT!!! From the very start, I was very impressed by the professionalism and level of detail demonstrated by both Eli and Sharon – they truly know what they are doing and how to support candidates through the process. We invested time upfront strategizing my story, leveraging the unique strengths of my profile and even differentiators that I didn’t think were relevant! This allowed me to tell my story in a very compelling and succinct way. The level of support also translated to the interview preparation where I did multiple mock interviews with Eli and another colleague to make sure I was sufficiently polished and ready for the different interview styles of the schools. I couldn’t have achieved these results without Eli and Sharon (especially since I had a lower GMAT score) and highly recommend them!
Results first: admitted to top-5 with $200,000 scholarship!!!! I’ve first heard of Eli from my colleagues. I work in a local boutique consulting firm and Eli has a history of taking a couple of us to top-5 MBA programs every year. I worked with Eli and Sharon and was impressed by the level of care, personal connection, the MBA knowledge, and attention to detail. I won’t repeat every review before me but I do agree with all of them. For me, the most impressive part was the thinking and planning process behind each document. Spending a lot of phone time to build the perfect positioning and outline, not only made my writing process much easier, but it also reflected who I am and what my message is – in the perfect way. The attention to every word made me realize the Ivy team wanted it as much as I did. Even if we would not agree on something, and it meant more work and more calls, they didn’t let go of their beliefs of what was the right thing to do. I cannot be happier with the results and can recommend Ivy MBA Consulting with confidence.
Eli’s value prop in the process is pushing your work until it is the absolute best it can be and being very straightforward about where you stand throughout the process. I contacted Eli when I was about a year and a half out from applying to business school, and he was able to give me a very objective assessment of the strengths of my application and things I should change/work on before applying. This type of straightforward feedback was a key part of the process of working with Eli. He pushed me on every essay and short answer to make sure it was the strongest possible, even if it meant doing many many (needed) iterations on some of my essays.
Compared to friends using other consultants, I really think the key differentiator is the time and attention he gives to your application (AKA you get more bang for your buck). I felt that friends who used other consultancies were given much more cookie-cutter guidance and had more rules on how much time could be dedicated to their applications. Eli was more results-oriented. It wasn’t about the time he put in, but about the output. Sometimes we wouldn’t spend much time at all on a piece of work because it was already in a good place. Other times we spent a ton of time figuring out an essay or answer. Throughout the process, he didn’t tell me what I should say or what my story should be, but rather he helped me think through it and iterated on it until it was perfect. His support was invaluable.
I applied to 4 business schools: Stanford, Wharton, Harvard, and Berkeley with a good resume, but slightly lower GMAT scores for these schools. I got into Berkeley and Harvard and will be attending Harvard in the fall. My partner also worked with Eli, and he’ll be joining me at Harvard in the fall. I am really happy with the results in what was a very difficult application cycle, and I couldn’t have done it without Eli.
I chose to reach out to Eli primarily due to the reviews on this site. As a result, I had high expectations, which Eli’s personalized support exceeded, and then some! My experience with Eli was as enjoyable, professional, and successful as all others describe below. But most importantly, I can’t underscore how much I appreciated having a consultant who truly cared about me from start to finish. Sharing the news of my acceptance with Eli was so rewarding – I felt how invested he was in my personal success, for the application process, and beyond.
Both my partner and I worked with Eli in parallel over the course of a year. The care and individualization with which he approached each of our unique processes were incredible. Thanks to Eli’s support, we had our choice of top schools to attend and will both be enrolling at HBS in the fall! We couldn’t have dreamed of a better outcome.
Eli is a top-notch consultant, but he also acts as a mentor and trusted confidant for any and all ideas and questions. He differentiates himself in four essential ways (which I imagine would make or break the application experience): 1) Attention to Detail – No stone goes unturned and no sentence goes unscrutinized 2) Flexibility / Approachability – He provides direct WhatsApp access, makes it clear no question is too small, and really means it 3) Directness – His feedback is always actionable, efficient, and unambiguous 4) Speed – Without fail, he always delivers detailed and thoughtful feedback on a document within a day or few days at most, no matter whether it is the first draft or 10th iteration.
Additionally, I was so impressed by how Eli navigated the unique processes of me and my partner. He had an acute sense for our different work styles, navigated our preferences for emotional support, and executed unique and successful plans for each of us despite our differing professional backgrounds.
I can’t recommend working with Eli highly enough!
Choosing to hire an admissions consultant is a tough decision to make. Not only is it eye-poppingly expensive, but you might be worried whether or not you are choosing the right person.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have, almost entirely by chance, decided to work with Eli when I was beginning the application process. I am 100% certain that being a current admit at my top choice MBA program wouldn’t have been possible without Eli’s help.
Eli is a 1-of-a-kind partner in the application process. He’s incredibly honest and forthcoming, pushing you to find the best version of your application at every turn. Whether it was my resume or my essay, there would be times when I felt like there were no more improvements or changes I could make, but Eli constantly pushed me on even the smallest of bullet points to find something better. That was the case for every single piece of the application process.
When we did my first practice interview, I totally bombed it. And Eli laid into me. He made it clear that if I performed like that during the interview, I won’t get admitted, full stop. It is hard to hear something like that, with so much on the line, and not completely panic. But the honesty pushed me to prepare. I spent the next few weeks going back and forth with voice memos and doing more mock interviews with his friends and colleagues. By the time the interview day came, I was leagues better than our first mock interview.
At the end of the day, using a consultant isn’t any magic guarantee of success. Don’t let any reviews try to convince you of that. Putting together a great application is incredibly burdensome and stress-inducing. But, if you’re sure that an MBA is the next step you want to take, you owe it to yourself to find someone who gives you the best possible shot to succeed. Eli does that.
I chose to work with Eli after he helped my wife to get into HBS MBA and several other acquaintances into top-5 MBA programs. I was only targeting MIT due to the GMAT waiver so a lot was at stake. Needless to say, I write this review after being admitted. Eli started helping me three years before I submitted. He advised me on career changes and the timing of certain crucial decisions. This had a significant impact on the outcome of my process. He really knows his way in this domain and can answer each question in depth. However, if you are looking for someone to constantly pat your back, he’s not the right Consultant. Eli is very results-oriented with high expectations from himself and from his applicants. He is very straightforward about your work and has one thing in his mind: finding the best version of yourself and get you into your dream school. Don’t worry – he will not yell at you 😊 he is really a great person to work with – but he will not sugarcoat or beat around the bush. He will call it as it is. Another thing I liked a lot about working with Eli is his accessibility. He works around the clock and is ALWAYS available to talk. He actually gave me his WhatsApp number and we chatted every time I had a question. Just knowing that you have this knowledgeable resource a text away is reassuring in itself. He is very approachable and he encouraged me not to wait too much if I get stuck – just to pick up the phone and call him. Bottom line – the result is what counts and I put all the eggs in one basket. Eli delivered and I will be in Boston studying alongside my wife. I strongly recommend reaching out to Eli the moment you are thinking of applying. You won’t regret it.
I cannot recommend working with Eli and Boaz of Ivy MBA enough!
They are both incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable about all aspects of the MBA admissions process.
I was unemployed during the admissions cycle in which I worked with them, but somehow gained admission to my target MBA program. This is a testament to how proficient they are in their work, and they are the real deal!
Thank you very much, Eli and Boaz!
I worked with Eli and Sharon Klapka and it was an amazing process with awesome results! I connected with Eli originally a couple of years back as he was highly recommended by multiple friends. He gave me guidance ahead of even deciding to apply to any school. Once I decided it was the time I connected Eli again but had a very short timeline. He and Sharon have supported me every step of the way in a super short time frame that allowed me to apply in the first round. They were extremely professional and knew exactly what I should do to maximize my chances. They invested many hours in my application even when I wanted to do last-minute changes. The result was perfect! I applied to one tier 1 school and got accepted, while also receiving a great scholarship. I highly recommend working with both Eli and Sharon, there are no better consultants to support you in this journey.
Eli is extremely knowledgeable, brutally honest, and relentlessly focused on achieving the best possible outcomes. What I appreciated the most is that he is really a mentor rather than a consultant, and motivated me to go above and beyond. I was targeting a top-15 MBA in the US and Eli was able to get me into an M7 school, something I still struggle to believe.
The process of working with Eli was very smooth and the results were remarkable. At the beginning of my MBA application journey, Eli helped me select the right schools and develop a compelling storyline. Then, we iterated countless drafts of my resume and essays and went through a number of mock interviews, which proved to be crucial to the final success. Eventually, I was admitted into my dream school and several others. I could not have done it without him and I cannot recommend him highly enough!
I worked with the Eli and Sharon duo and could not be happier with the process and results. The process was extremely professional and efficient, and the best part is I always felt as if I was their only client and always had their attention. They worked very closely with me throughout the entire process, and most importantly they delivered phenomenally – I was admitted to HBS, Stanford GSB, and Wharton (I never expected to achieve this). I must admit that I wasn’t the easiest client, but they were always responsive and invested countless hours on improving my strategy, essays, and preparing me for the interview process. We went through countless essay drafts and did not stop until we felt we had the best possible product. I was impressed by how perfectionists they were and how every detail counted. They know exactly what the focus should be on each essay and build a great application for every school I wanted to apply to. Great process and excellent result. I would highly recommend working with Eli!
There is no doubt in my mind that I am today sitting with offers from HBS and Wharton because of David and the Ivy MBA team.
Do not be fooled – the application process is absolutely grueling. But working with David was a phenomenal experience from the start. He was not just an extremely professional admissions consultant, but a strategy guru and life coach.
On our first call, David suggested that I wait a year to get more experience in my new job. I was quite surprised by that advice as he was essentially risking missing out on a client. But that’s David – he’s not just going to take you on because he’s getting some business; he’ll take you on because he truly believes you have the ability to get into your dream schools and that he can help you get there. That brutal honesty convinced me to take his advice, and I’m truly grateful for it.
From the start, David coached and challenged me. He worked with me to construct a competitive profile and application strategy, and throughout the experience was realistic about the challenges I faced and the ways we could address and work them into the applications. Moreover, he actually identified strengths in my profile that I hadn’t considered as relevant as I was engrossed in looking for weaknesses.
He would not allow me to complete a document until he was fully satisfied with it. Despite my insistence on several occasions that I had done the best I could, he would push my limits and gave me clear constructive feedback on areas that I needed to improve. When I’d hit a wall, we would brainstorm ideas together and I’d leave with 2-3 more directions to try. On interviews, I was preparing well in advance of even receiving interview decisions (that’s how confident he was!). David organized independent interviewers for mock sessions which were extremely valuable. For Wharton, he even organized a 5-person mock TBD! His confidence definitely yielded results.
David was literally always available. I honestly couldn’t believe it. We were constantly exchanging emails, WhatsApp, and calls. Initially, I would reach out to schedule calls, to which he told me to just call him anytime, and he actually replied, anytime. He would also revert back with comments on my essays/documents max within 1 day, and often chased me if I was falling behind on some items. He really kept me on my toes!
As a final word, I’d like to add that the journey working with David really helped me to build my self-confidence. There’s a lot of introspection involved in this process, and I often faced lows where I thought I wasn’t good enough for the top schools. David was instrumental in lifting my spirits and in showing me I was absolutely aiming where I should be. This approach undoubtedly yielded results that emerged in my writing and in my interviews and have better prepared me for the MBA program.
Here is something that was not mentioned in the dozens of the reviews here below: Eli’s emotional support throughout the process was a game-changer for me.
Before starting the process, I read all the reviews and yes – everything is accurate. I received the full guidance on all the documents, on every single word. The response time was extremely fast and Eli gave me his WhatsApp so I can reach him at any moment. It was all amazing.
After being admitted to 2 top-5 schools, I can say with certainty that the application process is not easy for everyone. For me, it was challenging and stressful. I had doubts about everything and there was several moments I wanted to stop and quit. In each of these times I reached out to Eli and he spent all the time (sometimes as long as 30 minutes) just encouraging me and rebuilding my confidence. This made all the difference and helped me carry on all the way to receiving 2 thrilling phone-calls from my top choices.
The bottom line is that Eli is simply one of the best in delivering results – I was accepted to 2 M7 schools. He is incredibly professional, experienced, quick to respond and is available 24/7 (other people wrote this before, but he is ALWAYS available!) to coach me in anything I needed throughout the application process. There are two thing I especially love about Eli – Firstly, he was always very truthful and straightforward, even if I didn’t want to hear it (e.g. in our first conversation before we started working together, he told me I should wait one more year before applying to B-Schools in order to gain experience); Secondly, he is extremely meticulous – every part of my application was nothing shorter than perfect. Applying to B-schools is challenging, and you want someone you can trust and who knows the game. I could not think of anyone who is more perfect for this job than Eli.
I have used several undergrad admissions consultants as well as an MBA consultant from a large admissions company prior to David, and I can very confidently say that David is the best admissions consultant I’ve ever had. I am very happy to share that, after initially feeling like I wouldn’t be able to gain admission into any business school this year, I have been accepted into Chicago Booth MBA which was my target business school. I first signed up for a very popular MBA admissions service before I signed up with David. They were extremely helpful and quick to respond until I signed up and gave them my money. Subsequently, it would take several days for them to respond to a simple email question and I had to follow up with them several times in order to even get a resume reviewed. The quality of their feedback was also cursory and substandard. After getting rejected from one of my main target schools, I decided to sign up with another company. I spoke to 8 different consultants to get an idea of their services. I chose David because he seemed the most realistic, methodical, and detail-oriented. While working with David, I never had a problem with communication. He gave me his WhatsApp cell phone number and he would answer my questions within minutes. If I sent him essays for review late night, I would have them back in my hands by noon the next day. His feedback was always very precise and descriptive. He would make it very clear exactly what I had to do in order to improve my essay or resume. David was also very particular about the quality of my work. Contrary to the other consultants who took 2 looks at my resume and told me that it was good to go, David and I went through 7 iterations of my resume before we decided that it was satisfactory. On many of my essays, we would do 5 or more back and forth iterations before we reached a place where the essay was perfect. For those who are similar to me in needing very prescriptive guidelines rather than general feedback, David is the right person to go to. Although I was the one who lived my experiences, David was able to coax them out of me and make every aspect of my profile an advantage. He made me really think about the impact that I’ve had in various places of my life, and then worked very hard with me to craft a story that accurately and convincingly communicated that impact. He also understands what to emphasize for each school in order to make that school really like your profile. Overall, I cannot recommend David enough and my experience with him has been absolutely incredible – I really credit my admission into Chicago Booth to him.
When Eli says that the process does not end when you submit the application he truly means it. Actions speak louder than words and I think my story shows it. I first talked to Eli 2 years ago when the GMAT was still my barrier from starting the process to the schools I wanted, beyond the motivation Eli gave me sound advice on what to focus on and how so that I can make progress as fast as possible. Linking me to the right people and graduates to learn more about the schools and how to get the GMAT done in a good way. Once that was out of the way we started thinking together about which schools fit my professional goals and my profile, I really liked the fact that he knew a lot about the schools and went out of his way to make sure I am linked to alumni to help me make the right decision. The process of the application itself might have been the shortest in terms of duration but was the most intense, daily calls, emails in the middle of the night, and countless hours on the phone thinking together how to bring my story across and how to make it stand out. Sometimes it’s hard to make your application and story stand out, but Eli’s questions really helped to do that, focus on the impact I have made, and to also make me realize that I have accomplished quite a lot in my professional career until today. That, among the personal care of preparing me to the interviews really helped when the writing ended and it was time to talk face to face (or zoom to zoom as it is now). I know that the process matters, but the end result matters even more. I got accepted, I am certain that I would not have reached the same result if I had done it on my own or with anyone else.
Thank you for the help and support!
Working with Eli was an experience far beyond what I expected. I applied to only one school in the last round and needless to say – I needed this one shot to succeed. If I had to say what were the things that were most amazing in working with Ivy, I would say that they are (1) Eli’s responsiveness – he is ALWAYS available. Not sure how he does that but he really is. We jumped on briefing calls with a notice of less than an hour and often on the spot. It truly felt like he is always there for me (2) Eli’s thoroughness – even when I was ready to submit or wrap up an essay, Eli kept pushing that it could be better and guided me with very clear feedback on how to improve my documents. He didn’t count iteration or limited the work in any way. He pushed me even when I was demotivated to achieve a better result. (3) Eli’s attitude is one that inspires confidence. He had no doubt we would make the deadline (we had 3 weeks!) and was very confident that I would get admitted. Other than the above, the operation was flawless and with high quality. The documents came back from editing much stronger and the interview prep process that included prep material and live mocks was extremely helpful. Overall, I felt I have a true partner for the process and I cannot recommend Ivy MBA Consulting more. Thank you!!
Warning: This will be a longer-than-usual review as Eli David was not my first MBA adviser, nor even my second. He was, however, my savior.
Notably, I am usually not the type of person to write reviews for anybody, but my experience with Eli was so overwhelmingly positive, I had to make an exception. I’m still uncertain that 1,000 words are sufficient to describe how much Eli helped me throughout the entire journey and how much I appreciated him. I will do my best.
Before the end of the round-one application process this year, I had already lost confidence in all MBA admission consultants. By that time, I’d spent nearly $15K USD on consultations but had received nearly nothing of value in return. What’s worse, my confidence level was nearly at rock bottom.
I’d first worked with one of the big-name admission-consulting firms during round two of the previous year and had ended up being rejected by my dream school without even getting an interview. I then worked with a top-rated consultant during round one of this year, which turned out to be one of the worst experiences in my life. Simply because I had an average GMAT score and was from an overrepresented applicants pool, the advisor asked me to downgrade my initial school list from M7 to S16 – and forced me to believe I had no choice but to accept.
Making matters worse, the advisor I worked with took between 10 and 15 days to provide feedback on each of my documents, and after just one iteration, he would claim the document was ready to submit. I truly felt as though he just wanted to take my money and didn’t care about me or my success. Worse yet, he always made me feel as though my feedback was unimportant. I was truly devastated.
By this point, I was completely lost – but I was not ready to give up. I called a few more consultants to evaluate my profiles. I distinctly remember that one afternoon when Eli called me almost immediately after I’d written him an inquiry email. He told me that with my unique experience, “You should be sitting in the classroom of your dream school! You are the exact person they are looking for.”
Although I was initially skeptical about what Eli said, my gut told me to give him – and myself – another chance. We quickly came up with a one-school deal for this year’s R1, applying to the program that had previously rejected me without an interview. Understanding my unpleasant experiences with the other advisor, Eli suggested that I work with him on an hourly basis until I gained trust, and we agreed that if I got a good result, we would work extensively on other schools in R2.
I was amazed when Eli decided to change every single document I’d worked on before. He responded within a day to each document I sent him, and he was constantly available to answer all of my questions on WhatsApp. I honestly don’t know how he does it!
One month later, I was absolutely thrilled to be invited for an interview with the school that had rejected me six months prior. Remembering how many times Eli and I went back and forth about my essays, videos, resumes, I am convinced that his timely and insightful feedback made all the difference.
After my initial success with Eli, I immediately decided to trust him again by signing up for a five-school package for R2. Crazy though it may sound, we initially decided for me to apply to the top five MBA programs in the US this time: Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB, Wharton, Booth, and Kellogg. Throughout this whole process, I continued having doubts about my profile, GMAT scores, and everything else. Eli never let me down, however, and he always encouraged me with positive communication.
I do want to stress that working with Eli was not easy: He is a perfectionist and he will never let you finish with a document until he’s is fully satisfied with it. Meeting his expectations requires a considerable amount of time spent on thinking and writing. In truth, I sometimes felt frustrated, or even angry, when I’d reach my limit on a document and he’d remain unsatisfied. He will always guide you and push your limits so that you’ll achieve what you had previously thought was beyond your abilities.
Though the application process was grueling, Eli’s demands for excellence proved worthwhile in the end: After a two-month wait, I received invitations to interview for all of the five top schools I’d applied for in R2. Eli did an amazing job in preparing me for the interviews, tailoring his guidance to address my weaknesses. I even underwent a five-person practice interview that emulated Wharton’s interview style.
Ultimately, I was admitted to HBS and a few other top schools. (As I write this, I am on the Stanford GSB waitlist – but Eli remains optimistic about my chances). I could not have achieved any of this without Eli.
One final note about Eli: Working with him is not simply a matter of signing up for a service. For me, Eli was effectively a life coach, and his unique perspective on admissions and life, in general, helped me and guided me in the right direction. He is, in my view, the best example of a true college-admissions consultant who not only helps you get into your dream school but always guides you into the next phase of your life.
Thank you, Eli! I will always be one of your biggest fans.
I can’t stress enough how big a part Eli played in my getting into my dream MBA program. I reached out to Ivy hoping just to be able to make it into a US top-10 school, and ended up getting into Stanford!! Before working with Eli, I was sure that my low GMAT score would hold me back, but after our first few meetings, I had enough confidence to apply to schools I thought were out of my reach. Not because Eli told me only what I wanted to hear either: just the opposite, he was upfront from the get-go about the challenges we were facing. But he showed his commitment to taking on those challenges with me and being invested in the process from start to finish. Additionally, with his vast experience in the field, he was able to identify strengths in my profile that even I had missed while I was focused only on what looked “wrong.”
Needless to say, Eli backed up this show of confidence with hard work that yielded real results. First of all, he responded right away to any question and was available literally around the clock (I still don’t know how he does that!). He also put in incredible effort helping me brainstorm my essays and make sure my application looked impeccable down to the last dot on my CV. His amazing interview prep was a major game-changer for me too. At this point, I can’t imagine going through this process with any consultant less experienced, dedicated, or willing to go above and beyond as Eli, and I’m sure having Ivy as my consultant is what really clinched the deal for me. I’m so thankful to Eli and his team, not only for helping me get farther than I thought I’d ever go but also for making the whole process feel so productive yet pleasant. I really can’t recommend Eli and Ivy enough.
I worked with Ivy 2 years ago when I got into Wharton where I currently am but it is never too late to chime in and let everyone know what a great experience working with David and his team was. As if getting into my dream school wasn’t proof enough, the whole process of applying was just made so smooth and seamless by Ivy. I literally cannot imagine a better application experience. I got all the support and guidance I could’ve hoped for from David, who was available and ready with an answer pretty much around the clock. At the same time, he really put his top effort and pushed me to do the same, for brainstorming my message and crafting the image that would make the best case for the schools I wanted to get into.
I don’t know whether I appreciated more the dedication and encouragement I received from David or the fact that every document was flawlessly prepared by his team, so I felt like, no matter what happened, I was putting my absolute best foot forward. Either way I’m just so thankful to Ivy for the amazing opportunity of a Wharton MBA, and the feeling hasn’t worn off one bit in the past year. That’s why I decided to post here and let anyone who’s considering Ivy that there’s no need to look further, it’s totally and completely worth every penny and every step of the way. You’ll be thanking them for this game-changing move for the rest of your career.
I went into the MBA application process, not imagining that several months later I would have an offer from Stanford, HBS, AND several other M7 schools, which I think pretty much tells you everything you need to know about David and Ivy MBA Consulting. When I started out, I was so sure I couldn’t risk presenting anything less than a stellar profile that I looked for a consultant to work with way ahead of time. That’s when David impressed me from the get-go with his willingness to work with me BEFORE the normal application cycle started. He gave me important advice about career options I had that when it came time to actually apply, I ended up making a major difference. Before I even started applying, I was already very glad to have found Ivy and was sure, whatever the outcome, I had made the right choice for my consultant.
When I got to the actual application, David and Sharon showed at every step of the way how dedicated they were to showing me in my best light and giving me every shot at success. Sharon was just a joy to work with, going through intense brainstorming sessions with me to painstakingly shape my message in the required essays. She knew Stanford was my dream school and I don’t know how long we spent on their “What Matters Most” essay (although once documents are drafted turnaround for final versions is incredibly fast and impeccable!). But both she and David were also super supportive throughout the whole process, even helping me not to get bogged down emotionally when the application cycle started to feel overwhelming towards the peak.
Obviously, their support and dedication paid off, and I honestly don’t know if I was more shocked and excited to get into my dream school, or to get into other top schools at the same time! The whole experience went literally like a dream, and I really owe that to Ivy. I seriously cannot recommend or thank them enough for the wonderful work they do.
Choosing Ivy for my MBA consultant was one of the best decisions I made throughout the process —and I have my Wharton admission to show for it!
Eli really impressed me with his commitment to my success, even when it didn’t just involve telling me what I wanted to hear. I don’t know how many drafts I went through for my essays, not to mention the super involved brainstorming process we had for them. Eli was adamant we couldn’t leave any stone unturned or loose ends untied, anything that would help tell my story and stand out, and he put in a lot of his own time and effort to back it up. Honestly, I felt like he really had my back, and anytime I had any question or concern he was there with a reply in literally minutes (it’s like he never takes time off or sleeps!).
I think Eli’s dedication didn’t just help me to put together a great application, it also motivated me to put my best into the process. When it came to the interview prep, Eli and his team fully simulated the Wharton interview with a 5-person panel that kept me on my toes and prepared me so well for the real thing was a breeze in comparison! I can’t thank them enough, not only for all the work they did but also for making the whole experience so pleasant! Eli’s very professional and serious about his work but he’s also nice and really easy to work with.
Overall, I completely recommend Ivy and with all their professionalism I can’t imagine anyone having less than the great experience I did with them!
Eli and his team were invaluable for my MBA application and subsequent admission! In a collaborative process, Eli helped me identify my target schools, build the right strategy for each, and craft winning applications. The team has been available 24/7 throughout the entire process to listen and act on every question, idea, or change I wanted to make. Even if you’ve been working with someone else, or feel you can do it on your own, I would urge you to get on the phone with this group of top-notch professionals, and get a second piece of advice! After all, it is your future we’re talking about here and you can’t afford to compromise. I can guarantee – the investment will pay off very quickly!
Choosing Ivy as my MBA consultant was literally the move that made the application process. From day one Eli was one-hundred percent available and ready with all the answers and support I needed. When it came to the actual application, Eli put incredible effort into helping me with everything. This made even the things I was worried about go smoothly, like crafting my essays: Eli identified strengths of mine that I didn’t think of, just because they maybe didn’t fit in a CV, but were just as important if not more to make my story compelling. I’m sure I couldn’t have presented a better version of myself than what they helped me put on paper (and later in in-person interviews). I really felt he was with me every step of the way and was as dedicated to the outcome as I was.
Not only that, but Eli’s dedication went even beyond the application process. When I was waitlisted for HBS, he gave me crucial guidance for navigating the waitlist process. After I ended up getting in, I felt sincere happiness as if he was admitted himself. Getting into the Harvard MBA will probably be one of the biggest turning points in my life, and I owe so much to Ivy and Eli for helping make that happen for me. I can’t thank and recommend them enough!
I interviewed a number of consultants but was sold by David’s enthusiasm about my profile and conviction that I was very competitive for Harvard and Wharton.
David was the consummate professional, guiding me through every step of the process and ensuring that my application was perfect before hitting submit. David significantly increased the quality of my application which is evidenced by my eventual admittance to Wharton. David’s interview prep and mock-TBD were both game-changing and gave me a significant leg up once I was invited to the interview process for Wharton.
All in all, David made a huge effort to get to know me, and my story, and helped me present it in an incredibly compelling way that I could never have imagined without his help. I owe my Wharton admittance to David.
I would like to thank Eli and Sharon for helping me make my dream come true. The application process was a tiring and exhausting process and I cannot stress enough how much Sharon’s support and guidance helped me go through it successfully. The narrative we built together felt natural and right for me, which made my application and essays strong, inspiring, and successful. Even though I did not feel fully prepared for each interview, Eli’s confidence in me was proven correct as I got accepted to where I wanted. Thank you Ivy Consulting.
David and his team were an integral part of my success in getting admitted to a prestigious MBA program in one of the top schools in the US. I started the process with a lot of doubts and uncertainty. Lucky for me, David had all the right answers and guidance through the process that helped me to achieve my goals. David came with rich and varied experience, and from the beginning identified my strengths and uniqueness and helped me to find the most exciting and authentic way to tell my story, along with a focus on refining the details and highlighting the parts unique to each and every school. Equally important to the uncompromising professionalism was the relaxed and pleasant work environment, the full support along the way, and, most importantly, the belief in me that I could conquer any destination I can imagine. I highly recommend Ivy MBA Consulting team and Eli David. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor to walk me through this challenging process.
On my first conversation with Ivy Consulting, they told me that “we are about changing lives”. Six months later, I can’t emphasize how much they were right.
I went into the applications process with some hesitations, without being sure about my future directions, fearing that I would not be admitted to one of the top schools I’ve applied to. Thanks to Eli, I learned how to write a coherent essay about myself, not underestimate my achievements, and gained confidence in English essay writing. Maya (his colleague) did a wonderful job preparing me for the interview. He was always accessible and professional. Thanks to his consulting, my application was uncomparable to my original essays and ideas. Eventually, thanks to him and his team, I was admitted to two top schools as I wished.
The way that Eli and his team worked was just what I needed. They made sure always to be available for any question or rewrite I required, they taught me the “MBA Application’s” language, and explained the intricacies of each school and how to approach them. Talking with the team felt like this mission wasn’t mine alone; they were with me under the stretcher.
Looking back at the process, I can honestly say that having Eli and his team as my consultants made the difference.
Working with David and Sharon was clearly the main factor for my success in the process. I placed all my eggs in one basket and submitted it to one M7 school. To make things more challenging, I was targeting a specific, extremely competitive, full scholarship. Writing this review is obviously after I succeeded in achieving both objectives. Both David and Sharon were available throughout the process to work on all the documents. They made me work hard and put in a lot of work on the documents. We had great brainstorming sessions and I felt the best version of me was definitely coming out. And as I mentioned, the results were perfect. Thank you guys for an amazing experience!!
In my opinion, Eli is one of the best MBA consultants. He is really strong at strategic planning and storytelling. In the early stage, when we discussed the right MBA programs for my background and career goals, Eli showed me a deep dive analysis and presented the strength of each top program. In addition, he also gave me an overview of his working style and the entire application process with a roadmap, alleviating my concern. Moreover, because of his excellent strategy, we were able to manage the time efficiently and eventually submit 4 applications at round 1 within a tight timeline.
Eli’s other strength is his storytelling ability. To help me distinguish from other applicants for the top MBA programs, Eli pushed really hard on me to think about unique and interesting stories from my past experience that can be easily remembered by the admission officers. We brainstormed lots of ideas. After many iterations, we finalized a list of interesting stories that can demonstrate my best skill sets and unique personality. This is not an easy process, but I felt super supported by him both mentally and emotionally.
Nevertheless, Eli is very flexible with his schedule and made himself available at any time when I need help. As a result, I received an offer from one of the top MBA programs in the world. In short, the MBA application is a long and difficult journey. If you are still hesitant and have questions, I highly recommend that you can schedule 30 minutes of free consultation with him and learn the great stories from him.
When I decided to pursue an MBA, I was late to the process. It was the end of October and I wanted to make R2 so I only had a couple of months to work with… Unsure whether I wanted to work with an MBA consultant at all, I took calls with more than 10 top firms that appealed to me on the P&Q list.
David stood out to me for two main reasons… (1) Speed: he responded to me within hours and set up the first call the same day, offering me a small demo of what it might look like to work together (2) No “bs”: when you go through the process of scouting consultants, you end up hearing a lot of the same pitches. The questions are the same, they will tell you where the weaknesses in your application are, and why you need them. David’s assessment of my candidacy felt the most authentic and sincere. It didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me and I liked his direct communication style. He also connected me with students that he had worked with in the past at my target schools (the only consultant that offered to do this).
My goal was a top 5 program (globally) and we succeeded in getting offers from Wharton and INSEAD.
I am not entirely sure when – or if – David sleeps, but one of the most important aspects for me was that he was always available and willing to go beyond the line of duty.
David can be ruthlessly honest but he will always push you to go further than what is seemingly possible.
I would wholeheartedly recommend David to anyone who is going through this process.
No review will do justice to the amount of help and guidance David gave me during my MBA application. He is to the point, hardworking, wise, and kind. I was in a unique situation throughout my application process and David was superb, from helping me re-write my CV to pointing out the smallest of details in the online application web forms. He was always available, and the first to push me and make my application stronger. He not only excels at strategy and fine-tuning the smallest details but he also doesn’t lose track of the totality of your application, a crucial perspective. I can say without a shadow of a doubt it is thanks to David that I got into my top choice MBA program (among others) and I can’t thank him enough. If you have the chance to work with him do not pass it up. Thank you, David!!!
Looking back, the decision to work with David was a game-changer for me. I was aiming for a top 10 but did not have a single brand in my resume. David developed a winning strategy that I was extremely comfortable with and enabled me to get the offer I wanted. Throughout the process, David was available on call7 days a week and I never waited long to get the answers I needed. He had a vision of how things should look and managed the process professionally to get there. I highly recommend working with David!!
I first talked to Eli 2 years before starting my application for my MBA – from that point on Eli has mentored me in choices to help me get into a top MBA program. When working on my application Eli has been there for me almost 24/7, always available for a call on every small detail. His advices are priceless – in every conversation with him it is clear that he is a professional who has been doing this for years. I had already recommended Eli to one of my closest friends – which is probably the best sign of how happy I am that I chose to work with him, and I would definitely recommend that to everyone.
Very professional and efficient process. The help I received on planning the process and understanding how to get started on tasks was most important to me.
Eli helped me achieve my dreams as I got accepted into 3 top MBA schools, including my top choice. During the process I felt I had someone I could count on and consult with, which made the entire process smoother and less stressful. Together we built a strategy for the application process, decided to which schools I should apply and of course, worked hard on each application. Eli’s ideas, creativity, availability and guidance are truly remarkable and are what makes him the perfect guide. Looking back, I couldn’t have done it without him. Thank you!
Ivy’s work was incredible and exceeded any expectations I had starting the process. From day-one Eli, Sharon and the team pushed me relentlessly to improve my application, making me think harder and deeper. Their availability and short lead times were incredible, and even though I applied while working in a demanding job I was able to submit well ahead of time. Eli was there when I had day-before-interview jitters, making sure I come focused. The depth of the work, the time they invested, and the fact they truly cared about my application helped me get my dream school (Starts with an S, in Palo Alto :-)). All along the process, Eli & the team provided useful, insightful up-to-date tips and tricks that helped me be as ready as I could be. In a few years time, when my younger brother will pursue an MBA I will tell not even to waste time talking to other firms. THANK YOU ELI!!!
From the very beginning, I knew that I would choose Ivy to assist me in the entire application process. After talking to a few close friends who have been successfully admitted to their desired MBA programs, I knew that I would choose Ivy, without even talking to additional consulting companies beforehand. From the first phone call I had with Eli, he was very pleasant to talk to, and he instilled so much confidence in me and my own personal story.
The journey to an MBA is not an easy one, and from time to time you have doubts if you are indeed good enough to fulfill your lifelong dream school of choice. Eli was always there for me for support, for each and every step of the process, making me confident that my dream is reachable. He was very professional and responsive to each inquiry that I had, from the very small and detailed one to the more significant ones.
Eli advised that I work directly with Sharon and indeed she was a perfect fit for me. She was very responsive, thorough, and professional in each aspect that I worked with her on. She never compromised on anything less than perfect.
Looking back on this period, it is not just the entire process that I highly recommend with Ivy, but it’s also the results, which I think speak for themselves; I was admitted to all schools that I applied for, including my lifelong dream one! So thank you, Eli and Sharon, for making my dream come true. I definitely couldn’t have done this journey without your amazing support and true dedication. I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants a professional but also a personal and supporting team that will be with you from beginning to end.
The work Eli has done is pure magic! After getting the results, I can say that for sure.
Eli’s dedication is just extraordinary. From putting so many hours of his time on brainstorming and picking the right application strategy to going over every single word in the online application form. He did it all with great enthusiasm, super-fast responsiveness, and great effort.
On top of that, Eli has done it all in the most professional way you could imagine. He won’t compromise on any part of the application and every time he signed-off on an item, I felt extremely comfortable I had a top-notch product. His feedback is on point, very constructive and always within the scope of his amazing strategic view.
The work Eli has done with preparing me for interviews was incredible. He quickly spotted my weaknesses and managed to improve them significantly. Also, Eli’s vast experience and knowledge in each of the schools is a valuable asset. I was not surprised at all in any of my interviews, as our simulations were very similar to reality. I couldn’t have asked for anything more than that.
To summarize – Eli is a true professional, partner, mentor, and friend. It was a real pleasure to work together with him and I highly recommend it for you as well. You won’t regret it!
Eli is the best admissions consultant you could hope to work with. Apart from having amazing results (I got into both my dream school and several others), he is a joy to work with, and you will feel as if you are working alongside your best friend!
What impressed me most about Eli was the passion and dedication he showed to me throughout the process. I had more than 8 intro calls with various consultants in the top 20 list on Poets&Quants, and Eli immediately stood out. He gave me his honest feedback and opinion on my candidacy, and was the only one to offer me a demo working session before I made my final decision, giving me an idea of what it would be like to work together – and trust me, it was awesome!
Eli’s dedication to my success only extended throughout our time together. First, he gave me the motivation to continue studying for the GMAT and retake the test. Throughout the next few months, Eli consistently pushed me to work on my applications and set a clear timeline for the various requirements of each school application. Most importantly, I felt as if Eli always had my back. He was incredibly responsive and answered almost all of my emails/texts within a couple of hours; he was also never hesitant to hop on a call and discuss any of my questions or give me feedback. I truly felt as if I was the only student that he was working with!
In my opinion, there is no better person to work with than Eli. He pushes you to bring out the best in yourself and your applications, gives you a sense of confidence and makes you feel like you belong at any school in the world. If I could do it again, I would choose Eli in a heartbeat – and you should too!
Choosing Ivy was simply the best decision I made in my application process. I heard a lot about Eli and Sharon from my friends, but I didn’t imagine how valuable their guidance and direction would be. Despite the tight schedule, Eli and Sharon provided me with a tremendous support throughout the process and kept motivating me for success. They gave me a great support with crafting my story and refining my essays, and made sure that my personality is well reflected in each of them. Their preparation for the interviews was also extremely helpful, and allowed to step in with high confidence. Ivy is an exceptionally professional consultancy, and their results are clear – 2 out of 3 of the top MBA programs in the US! You should definitely choose them – trust me, you won’t regret!
For me Eli was a sort of a magician, he succeeded taking me to places I didn’t even dream of getting to (Yes, Harvard). His supper professional approach, endless creativity and most importantly his patient and attitude all along the way, were worthy to every penny I paid. He was more than a counselor for me, he was a mentor and I absolutely recommend him to every person interested in applying to an MBA program.
Eli helped me to make my dream come true! Since the beginning of the process, Eli was super professional and thoughtful and helped me to show myself in the best way on the written application and in the interviews. He was always there, in every hour and for every issue. If you want to do this step and get into a top MBA program – Eli is definitely your guy!
Simply put, Eli won’t stop until the goal is accomplished. 10/10 review for Eli and a big thank you to his perseverance through the application process. Needless to say, business school can be a life-changing experience and it is extremely comforting to partner with someone who will not stop until you achieve what you set out to do. Eli is always willing to make himself available to help, day or night, and is a true partner throughout the entire process.
After being turned away from other MBA consultants because my resume, GMAT and age did not seem “sufficient” for top programs, I was advised to reach out to Eli by one of their former clients. Eli heard my story and said it’s going to be a difficult process but we will make it happen. 3 out of 5. That’s how many MBA programs I was accepted to – first round, no waitlist. Needless to say all of the 5 programs I applied to are in the top 10. From the first session, Eli was very honest and fair. We mapped out the school I would be applying to based on my career goals and created a strategy that would be the perfect fit for each school’s admission committee. Both Eli and Sharon knew exactly what each program looked for and they were available 24/7 to bounce ideas, direct, edit applications, practice for interviews, and guide in this nerve-racking process – all in the utmost professional manner. Pursuing an MBA in a leading global program has been my dream and there is truly no other person I would have wanted to guide me through this process. I would give a 10-star rating if I could. MBA here I come!
I am beyond grateful for David’s support throughout this process. Last year I was rejected from 5 business schools. I was naturally apprehensive to start again. I am pleased to say that I applied to 1 school and have been admitted- a top 10 program!
Eli has a strong understanding of how the business school application works. It was helpful for me to bounce ideas with a seasoned professional. As I was applying to just one school, I was paying hourly. I appreciate how accessible Eli was throughout the process, how he never overcharged me for his time, how he was respectful of my time and efficiently went through my work. I felt he was always respectful, encouraging and honest. Eli was honest with his thoughts on my essays and resume and, most importantly, I always did my own work. He would give feedback to my ideas, my writing, my work, and at the end, I submitted an application that I believe told my story honestly and authentically. Whether I would be admitted to the program or not, I was proud of my work and grateful for Eli’s insight.
Upon being accepted, Eli continues to celebrate with me and offer support as a friend. I am thankful for his generosity with his time and excitement to see me succeed.
Eli assisted me to apply to a few schools and was extremely helpful throughout. He was extremely responsive and helped formulate a strategy for the whole application process. After being waitlisted in my top choice, he came up with a plan to help me stay relevant to the admissions committee from October to May. This eventually lead to me being pulled off the waitlist and enrolled.
I can share many things about my process with David and Ivy but the bottom line is that I applied to a single top-5 school and was admitted. I was impressed by Ivy’s process all along but will mention two exceptionally outstanding things that helped me the most: the first was the management of the process, the drive of David and his team to get me in. They supported me and were extremely proactive throughout the process. This process is not easy and is extremely demanding, and David was able to push me every part of the way. The second is the people. Everyone I worked with at Ivy cared about me and wanted my success. I felt I was in great hands and I cannot emphasize enough how this can be critical to succeed in the process. Ivy is the reason I made it to my dream school. Don’t hesitate.
The bottom line, I got accepted to both the top 10 programs I have applied for.
Ivy consulting, escort you from the first step until you are accepted. They provide you insights about the programs that you wouldn’t find online, prepare you for the interviews and help you create the best essays possible. They truly have vast knowledge in the field, providing insight at any specific school. The work with them was also a great experience, I found them very respectful and hard-working, guiding me in how to describe my story in the best way possible.
In the end – you receive a top-tier product that enhances your chance to get admitted.
I would recommend anyone who doesn’t want to take chances in the admission process to work with Ivy.
I worked with Eli on my application for one of the Top5 schools – and got accepted. Eli was professional and nice, and it was great working with him.
Eli supported me through a long and rigorous process, with many schools and countless essays. He consulted for anything MBA related and at late hours, weekends, and basically whenever. The process was hard, but Eli led it in an extremely professional manner, harsh yet fair. Received an offer from Booth.
I came to David after working on 1st round applications with another advisor and, although having a solid professional profile and experience, good academics and a GMAT of above 700, was rejected by all 3 schools I applied to. I was perplexed and was losing hope but soon it became clear how David’s thorough methodology was far superior to what I had experienced prior. David completely revised my application strategy and made perfect sense connecting my professional past, present, and future aspirations to present me as an attractive candidate for leading schools. Starting with my resume, David laid down very strict guidelines that help make my resume stand out, including the importance of quantitative data that help the reader unambiguously perceive my achievements as well as the right blend of MBA-critical traits throughout my experience. Through my essays, David made sure I present the right amount of ‘personal’ vs. ‘professional’, helping to give a 360 view of my profile to schools’ admission. David guidance was very effective and help optimize my writing time. Unlike with my former advisor, the second time around I felt that my application was PERFECT! and indeed I ended up making it into my dream school. Until this day, I sometimes consult with David regarding professional matters and, needless to say, that, I have sent his way many MBA prospective candidates who ended up fulfilling their academic aspirations.
Eli knows what he is doing, and that what’s important. No matter if you are targeting HBS, MIT, or UNC he know the right approach that will make your application stand out.
From early brainstorming, through schools specific strategy development, to finalizing the application, Eli and his team were there for me every step of the way. With Eli’s support I managed to tell MY story in a better way, and make sure that the school understood what value I bring to the table, and why I am the right candidate. I will forever be grateful.
I researched close to 6-7 consulting companies and 2-3 independent advisers and all signs pointed toward IVY being the best option — they did not disappoint!
Working with IVY, I got into 4/5 schools that I applied to and got wait-listed in the 5th. This was a result of the professionalism, attention to detail and experience that David brings to the table. At IVY I worked with a consultant that David hand-picked for me based on my background and school selection, but he was involved in the process throughout.
The biggest thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail. I went through multiple iterations on every essay until David and team felt it was nothing short of perfect. Submitting my applications, I felt that I was leaving nothing on the table and that I was putting forward my best chance to get into the schools I pursued.
The super professional approach did not take away from the personal aspect. David realizes that MBA application is a very stressful process, so he makes sure to make himself and his team available as much as possible. For me — it felt like a partnership, I felt the IVY team was invested in my acceptance nearly as much as I was. There was genuine excitement when I informed them about my acceptance.
In short, for me, it was a no-brainer. I took my chances with IVY and have never looked back. This is a results-oriented business. My only objective was to get into my schools of choice — IVY delivered that, and beyond.
My MBA application journey was a whirlwind. As recent as October of 2018, I had no idea that I was going to be pursuing an MBA. Essentially a lost puppy with no idea of what direction I was going in, I googled for an MBA consultant and found Eli’s profile. Keep in mind, I had never worked with a consultant before and was quite hesitant to hire one because I felt that given sufficient time, I would be able to figure it out myself. Unfortunately, I had never even looked into MBA programs and didn’t have the faintest idea of even the top programs to aim for; at this point, I had to go with one.
After reading Eli’s profile and the 40 some-odd reviews on his page, I decided to give him a call. That call changed my life. I spoke with him briefly and within minutes, for whatever reason, I decided to take a leap of faith and agreed to work with him. Throughout the process, he was checking in on me, more as a friend than anything. If the deadline was close, he would send me reminders. Best of all, he worked tirelessly and through late nights to make deadlines without complaining.
This man is amazing and gets the job done. If you want results, go with Mr. Eli. He won’t sugarcoat, he won’t waste your time or money – he’ll get you the results. I wouldn’t be flying to Chicago in September if it weren’t for him. 10/10 would use again.
Don’t ask why just go with Eli.
I’ve been one of Eli David’s earlier applicants and I have to say I am not surprised form all the praises I read in the previous comments. Eli’s dedication to the process is impressive. I was especially impressed by the strategy sessions we conducted and how the impacted the entire process. Eli and his team understood how the admissions mindset works and were extremely professional in implementing this knowledge in the texts. When I was admitted, I felt that Eli was as happy as I was. I’ve been sending younger colleagues and friends to Ivy MBA Consulting ever since and they were all as happy as I was. I also strongly recommend getting in touch with Eli as early in the process as possible. The earlier you reach out, the more he can have an impact. Good luck to you all!!
When I decided to apply to a top-school MBA, I approached friends and colleagues who were already admitted to programs at Harvard and Columbia, asking who they would recommend as the best guide through the application process. I kept getting the same answer, delivered with overwhelmingly positive praise: Eli David. I reached out to Ivy, and we started working together on my application. Eli provided support that was nothing short of amazing. His advice, guidance, strategic insight and encouragement to share personal stories I would have never thought to put forward in an MBA application, were invaluable. Equally important, Eli provided unmatched support during the stressful application process. He was highly responsive, answered texts in no-time and was always quick to hop on a call. I found him to be a calming force throughout this nerve-wrecking process. I genuinely couldn’t recommend him more.
Before choosing to go with Eli, I had checked other admission consultants. Most looked at my dry credentials and concluded I have little chance of being admitted to one of the 5 top B-school and recommended to take a few “safety schools” from the bottom of the list. Eli was the one who truly believed in me and gave me the confidence I needed, making me feel like I was the only candidate he worked with.
The first time my “story” was essentially and holistically examined was during my first call with Eli, who offered a complex, data and experience-driven analysis of my chances of being admitted to several target schools. His many years of experience give him an unparalleled advantage. Today, I can wholeheartedly say that I have made the right decision in choosing the most professional, experienced and amiable admission consultancy firm I possibly could have asked for.
From the moment I started working with him and with my personal consultant, Miriam, I have received their full and undivided attention. They continuously made me feel like they were worth every cent I had paid for their superior service. Whether it was rethinking my application strategy, seeking advice on timelines and task prioritization, or most importantly, the relentless editing of my application materials until they were absolutely flawless. The work was quick, practical and professional. I never waited for more than a few hours to get comments on my essays. Eli is an expert at recognizing your strengths and getting the best out of you! He played a key role in defining my career goals and polishing the essays.
My time working with Ivy MBA Consulting team on my applications was incredibly productive and rewarding. The guidance, insight, and feedback provided the foundation for me to effectively create and submit my applications on time and with minimal stress.
I would strongly recommend Eli to prospective applicants. Thank you!!!
First of all – results. Applied to HBS, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, and CBS. Interviews at 4/5. After the interview, it’s up to you, so I will save the details for where I am headed.
Can’t say enough about Eli. He is absolutely the right person to have on your side. It’s hard to review a service like a bschool consultant, because most people will only use one consultant in their lifetime. However, if I were applying again, I’d choose Eli again without hesitation.
Bschool applicants are all capable of writing their own application. With that being said, I did not want a person to just look over my essays. Eli spent most of his time listening to my life stories, and helping me figure out myself. As you go through this grueling application process, you might realize a lot about yourself that you did not know before. Eli helped me find that, and as a result, my application reflected my best traits. Eli also knew which traits would resonate well with certain schools.
Perhaps you know yourself well enough to know what you are already going to write. If that’s the case, have your English literature major friend look over your apps. However, if you really want to put forth the best application possible, give Eli a try.
I worked with David at a rigorous timeline to submit my applications to GSB and Berkeley. David is extremely detailed, professional and strives to perfection in all aspects of the application process. Through the process, he accompanied and helped me in every step of the way. He provided excellent feedback and guidelines in each step of the application. Moreover, he made every detail in my application shine. David helped me to bring the best of me to the application and the interview. David invests above and beyond in terms of time and effort in each step of the process, always available for questions. To me, he became a mentor and guide in this complex process. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have been able to apply to 2(!) universities in the short time frame and restrictions I had without him. I highly recommend David – his in-depth familiarity with the process, the schools, and their required focal points are the things that made my application from good to outstanding.
Eli helped me with my application on Stanford. While my situation was clearly not the easiest, Eli took the time to listen to me and build a great story. During the interview preparation, he tailored my speech and gave me the hints to answer to the great diversity of questions that can be asked during a Stanford interview. I must say that it was painful but helpful. The D Day, I was not surprised at all and could shine as Eli already helped me prepare all the topics that the interviewer wanted to tackle. Apart from a great coach, Eli is also a good person who will take his time to answer to any of your questions without counting his time. I finally got admitted to Stanford – Thanks Eli
I worked closely with David and throughout this entire process, the various conversations, strategy sessions, and endless edits, I always felt I was given the most professional care there is! David’s and the Ivy team’s guided hands supported me on my journey to get the best out of myself. David’s and his spectacular team’s extensive experience is strongly reflected in every step of the process- their deep familiarity with the application process and the different universities is what makes them bring such a deal breaker added value to the table- those little nuances they contribute are exactly what differentiates a good application from an outstanding one! Even though David been counseling applicants for so many years, I never felt that the advice I received was generic, but always extremely tailored for me and for the goals I set for myself. The Ivy team’s vast experience, professionalism, enthusiasm, and unwillingness to settle for anything less than the absolute best are what make them the best team to help you take this first step towards your desired future!
When applying for the second year, I spoke to half a dozen advisers to select the one that best suited my needs. Eli stood out for his no-BS, direct and honest style. He’s been an absolute pleasure to work with and has provided invaluable help during the process towards getting admitted to Stanford, to both me and my best friend (I had recommended Eli to him). I can recommend him to anyone wholeheartedly. Thank you, Eli!
I would highly recommend Eli to anyone who wants to enter a top MBA program. He has a lot of experience and, being an MBA himself, will help you understand the universities’ mindset and their adcom’s point of view.
Their system is designed to take your application to the next level and it really works. He will help you craft your story and to showcase it in the most effective way possible.
David and his team really make this whole intensive and unfamiliar process much easier. They helped me realize what my strengths are, and together we build a solid strategy that got me into both MIT, Kellogg, and Booth – with scholarship!
The Ivy team was there all along the way, from the smallest questions at the beginning till’ the preparation for the interviews. I can honestly say that I don’t think I could get to those results without their incredible help. It was a pleasure working with those guys and if you want to see yourself at one of the best schools in the world, use the Ivy team.
David and his team did a tremendous job with my application process, from thinking about the strategy to pushing me in finalizing my application. David brings to the table vast and deep expertise, tremendous experience and unparalleled attention to details. I heard great things about Ivy before retaining them, but they have definitely exceeded my expectations tremendously! I deeply recommend David, probably the best team to have behind you while writing your application!
I met David couple of years ago, in what turned to be a meeting that changed my life! I couldn’t have chosen a better person to go through this journey.
David and the Ivy team were absolutely incredible. David guided me in building the most suitable strategy for me and helped to emphasize my strengths in the most remarkable way. He is super professional and has exceptional knowledge of the process. Even more importantly was his dedication for my process. He was there for me in every step of the way – from answering the smallest question I had to motivating me throughout the process.
I was admitted to my dream school (Booth) with a full scholarship! I wouldn’t have made it without David and the Ivy team – The best decision I have taken.
David took all the guesswork out of the application process. He was absolutely invaluable, and choosing to work with him was the best decision I made.
David provided an expert point of view on each tiny aspect of every single application, along with direct and clear-cut coaching on how to assemble the best application package. I appreciated how much he pushed me, and his willingness to do whatever it took and make himself available at all hours. We worked hard and it payed off.
His steadiness, calmness, and confidence in my ability to succeed made all the difference. I can say without a doubt that my admissions to Wharton and Sloan are a result of our joint efforts, and that without him I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off.
I had an amazing experience working with Eli and his colleague Boaz. Right from the get-go I had a feeling I was in good hands. Eli and Boaz accurately and honestly analyzed my strengths and weakness and helped me build the perfect application strategy for me. It was obvious Eli was very experienced, knew all the different nuances of every school and what would be the best strategy. The work itself was extremely efficient and professional. They had a special consultant who helped me to prefect my resume and they were available 24/7 for any question or concern. Most importantly, I got into all the schools I applied to and even received a scholarship. I highly recommend Ivy as your MBA consultants!
I had a 710 GMAT, ok grades, from an ok university, and as such, didn’t really believe I had a shot at these schools. I got into every one of them. What David helped me realise was the uniqueness of my story post graduation, and although he will not wright anything for you, he will make you think deeply and push you to present yourself in the most authentic and positive light. I can’t describe the value he added to my application through his feedback and coaching. David knows his stuff, listen to him, and I have no doubt you will succeed. Thank you so much for your help David.
I worked closely with David and the consulting team in every step of the application process: deciding which business schools to apply, building application strategy for each school, writing CV and essays and editing and fine-tuning the application to make sure it was the best fit for each top-tier school and preparing for the interviews. Ivy team was there at every hour available for any consultation, question or hesitation that came along the long way, and the process (and results) would not have been the same without them. After receiving the amazing news from Harvard, Stanford and MIT David & the Ivy team were almost as excited as I was, as they were true partners for this long and challenging process.
I always dreamt of joining Stanford. No other school mattered. I knew it was my objective years before I submitted. I contacted David, who already got few of my friends to top schools in the past. Since it was still early, David consulted me on my career moves and timeline. The advice was priceless. I followed his advice and we were in touch all along. David kept reinforcing my confidence and helping me when I had questions. When we started the application process, David knew already how he wanted things to look like. He was confident the whole way. When the amazing news arrived, David was happy as if he got to Stanford himself, but I also sensed he was not that surprised. It really felt he had a very clear plan and knew exactly how it would end up.
I must say that my experience is not unique. Few of my friends here also used Ivy and share the same experience. I truly recommend David and Ivy MBA Consulting for anyone who is aiming high!!
Ivy MBA Consulting led by Eli David is a highly seasoned and experienced MBA consultancy firm with contributors that know and understand the intricate MBA landscape in depth. Eli and his team were very accessible throughout the rigorous and stressful process of applying to the M7 schools and provided unparalleled knowledge, insights, and guidance that led me to see fantastic results. The team brings years of experience as well as strategic and tactical aptitude to the table and I highly recommend working with them if you want to see results. They helped me put the very best version of myself forward when applying and interviewing for my dream schools and I cannot praise them enough.
I worked with Eli two years ago when I was doing my MBA research. Eli called me on an Israeli holiday and we had a long conversation about choosing schools to apply for and building strategy together. Eli connected me with students from many business schools to help me make my decision. After choosing schools, Eli worked with me days and nights to make sure that my application is perfect. Although I had a tight timeline, we made it happen and I was admitted to Fuqua on the early round. Eli has a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the application process. I highly recommend him and his team if you want to make your dreams come true!
I worked with David and his team for several months and was admitted to Columbia (with a generous scholarship) and MIT Sloan!! I remember David told me he had no doubt I would be admitted. I must say I was not as sure as he was at the beginning because I am not coming from an exciting industry, to say the least. When we started the process, I understood why David was confident. I guess he knew what he and his team can do. They have an unbelievable level of understanding of the process and the schools. Nothing goes past them. There was not a single question I had that they didn’t have a good answer to. David was very available to me whenever I called him and everything he predicted turned out to be accurate. Before the process, I tried several other MBA Admissions advisers who sounded great and promised a lot of things but something about David’s more ‘boutique’ operation made me feel safer. As if my dream was equally his. Choosing to work with Ivy MBA Consulting was one of the best decisions I made in the process. I strongly recommend anyone who starts the process just to talk to David once. I am sure you won’t regret it.
I highly recommend Eli and his team!! Eli and his team helped me in the application process for two of the top ten business school (I was admitted to both of them) – they helped me in drafting the application and in preparing for the interviews. They were highly available (although many times we were in different time zones), very professional (know which aspects are more important for each school) and outstandingly efficient. The application process is very stressful and demanding, but Eli and his team make it much less frightening.
Eli did an amazing job in tailoring the right strategy for my case. Throughout the process, he has been extremely devoted and caring. I highly recommend Eli to anyone who wants to get into top MBA programs.
Working with Eli and his team was a crucial part in my success getting into an MBA program (Booth) as he helped me in every-step along the way from formulating a target list, to research schools, crafting applications and managing the offer/scholarship process. The super-professional services stands out not only for the great advice and familiarity with the different schools and programs, but through getting to know my goals and story and providing me with highly-tailored advice and consulting that have helped me target the right schools and crafting effective applications. The daily work on the application is highly effective and enabled me to complete my research and applications in a very short time frame (I have decided to apply around mid-November). Eli and the consultant team were always readily available, provided much needed advice and became a real partners in tedious MBA application process, helping me to better present my story and figure my strengths. Highly recommended!
Working with David has become a family tradition! Six years ago, he helped my older brother get into several top five schools. He was as super-professional and supportive for me as he was for my brother, and helped me achieve the same great results, as I have been admitted to several top schools. When I started the process, I felt I could approach David with any question. He showed a level of knowledge, thinking, and rational decision making which was exceptional. His group of editors and the interview prep team were extremely professional. I especially remember the mock interview for Wharton, which proved to be fateful, as that’s the school I will be attending this fall. I highly recommended David and his team!
David is a thoughtful professional that works closely to understand your career aspirations, pairing you with alumni from your targeted programs to provide detailed insight into how to best prepare your application and prep you for interviews. I was admitted to my top two schools (with scholarship) due to the assistance of David. He has an intricate understanding of each of the top 10 schools in the US and I would highly recommend him to all prospectives looking to pursue business school.
I worked with David and Lianne Hoffman on getting admitted to four of the top five schools. I was invited for interviews at four of them (including HBS), and even received a very generous scholarship.
The process of daily work used by David and the Ivy team is extremely efficient. They seem to be familiar with the minute details of every school and its admissions process. Their turnaround time for supporting my application was very impressive and their quality of service was even better.
David always made himself available and I could contact him anytime without scheduling a call.
I couldn’t have gotten this incredible opportunity without David. Highly recommended!
Eli did an amazing job helping me get in to 5 out of the 5 schools I applied to (including HBS, Stanford, and Wharton).
He is extremely dedicated and does an amazing job!
I highly recommend his services!
Eli David is the best in his field. He can guide you on how to apply, where is the best place for you and your family and what you should consider. The main thing that makes Eli unique is that he does not just have a lot of information on different schools, he also has many colleagues from inside the various schools that he connect you with and guide you how to speak to them. Eli knows every school very well, and he knows what to focus on each school. Eli and his team are amazing when it comes to write the application and prepare for the interviews. He is always available to you for any concern, question, or guidance. If you’re considering applying for MBA, Eli is your guy!
Eli and his team at Ivy MBA is top-notch. I worked with them on my applications for HBS and Wharton with a very tight timeline, and got admitted to both, and there’s no way I could’ve managed that on my own. It really was like having a full-time coach with you for the whole process. Highly recommended.
Eli is absolutely one of the best consultants out there. I have been communicating with Ivy from the early days in which I decided to pursue my MBA dream. Eli has always known the right answer for any kind of difficulty along the way and it is visible that he is highly specialised in the application process of various schools. Eli has helped me to get into a top MBA school and has been very kind in this process. He has always found the time to make himself available to me even in late, out of work, hours. I would definitely recommend Ivy to anyone searching for someone to take him through the whole MBA process.
Eli David worked together with me on my application to The Wharton School. I chose working with Eli because of his excellent reputation in the field, and proven credentials, in the form of hundreds of successful applications to the world’s top business schools.
Eli was very helpful in the process of putting together my application strategy. He was a great partner to brainstorm with, to provide his incredible experience, and to validate and refine ideas and strategies I put in writing.
Eli and his team were very professional in their approach, as well as with the service they provided, and helped me to put together the best application!
My application was rather challenging as I took my GMAT on December 17, and only after that, I reached out to Eli asking him to support me in my application to The Wharton School that was due on January 6. Eli took that short time challenge and was extremely responsive and helpful during that 2 week period. Eli also prepared me for my Wharton group and one-on-one interviews, and made sure that I knew exactly what am I going for, and gave me an authentic simulation (+ helpful feedback) for these events.
Working with Eli paid off, as I was admitted to The Wharton School – an unforgettable experience, and a life changing milestone for me. Eli of course has a significant part in that! As a student at Wharton, Eli supported me in identifying potential prospects for special recruiting events, and kept in touch with me since then. In light of the great experience I had in working with Eli, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering applying to a top school- he is a true professional!
I highly recommend working with Eli and his team. There are endless other firms but this one stands out for several reasons. First, they really know what they’re doing and have an incredible knowledge about schools. This knowledge is really important for you when you want to make sure you choose the right school that matches your professional goals. Second, you’ll get a customized strategy that fits your individual aspiration. Third, Eli himself and your consultant are true partners in this process and you’ll get comprehensive help in order to get the most out of your life and work resume. Last, but probably what differentiates Eli and his team from others, you’re treated as a VIP customer. Eli and his team are going to be there for you at any given moment, totally committed to your success. No doubt this is the best consulting firm!
Eli was super responsive ever since our first talk. The process was structured and organized, but also personal and tailored to my needs and pace. I can’t stress how much I was impressed by Eli and his professional team, the things I learned during the application process served me well through my MBA and the interviews. Highly recommended!
David and his group are exceptional. I went with David based on a referral and I am 100% glad I did. I was a reapplicant and their guidance helped me get into a top school (M7) I was previously rejected from with a very generous scholarship. I considered a number of other options from independent consultants to bigger organizations and David’s team-based approach was the best of both worlds. You get the intimacy of having a single point of contact but that consultant leverages a team of folks to help you with every aspect of your application(resume, interview prep, essays). Having multiple eyes on my application gave me comfort that my application would resonate with the admissions office. I was also very time-crunched and the team could not have been more responsive, sometimes giving me feedback multiple times the same day. Having applied before I could see the marked improvement in my application from working with David. His service is truly “Next-level”.
I worked with Ivy last year and got admitted to 5 out of 6 schools, including Stanford GSB, Berkeley Haas, MIT Sloan, Chicago Booth and Kellogg. I chose Ivy because from the very first moment I felt that they were committed to my success, and so it was. I worked with Noam Shiff, who was simply amazing !! Noam was super-professional, sharp, attentive, caring and committed. Noam gave me excellent feedback and guided me throughout the process. She pushed me forward and was available 24/7 that I was often surprised by how fast she responded to emails. On top of that, she was pleasant and fun with high energies that made the whole process much more relaxed and enjoyable than I’ve expected it to be. Although most of the work is with the consultant, behind the scenes, is a well-oiled machine, including Eli and a whole team of experts who decide on the strategy, positioning, and review everything uncompromisingly. Their work and availability allowed me to maximize my potential and place myself as a competitive candidate. In preparation for the interviews, Ivy allowed me to practice with three different advisors so that I get exposure to the different interviewing styles. One of the advisors was Rom, who worked with me intensively on the structure and the content of my interview answers, and provided me with great tips and tools that helped me ace all my interviews. Moreover, he checked-in with me on a daily basis to hear about my prep progress, was available for any little question that I had, and always accepted my short-notice requests for additional mock interviews (sometimes very late at night or his midnight(!), as we lived in different time zones). Ivy’s advisors continued to advise me well after I got admitted to several schools, helping me decide which was the best school for me and assisting with the scholarship applications and US-visa matters. In sum, if you wish to maximize your chances to get into one of the top-tier MBA programs – choose Ivy!
Eli and Ivy MBA consulting guided me in my application from top to bottom. From planning the strategy, extracting more value and content out of my career achievements, helping me learn about different programs and more. Even when things did not go as planned and when problems appeared (and it is a long process, so issues are inevitable) they were able to find a creative solution, while providing excellent service. I highly recommend working with them and follow their guidance. They got me into MIT:)
Eli and the Ivy’s team has been outstanding during the stressful days of the MBA application process. My journey with Eli started months before the submission due date when he guided and helped me to evaluate the different schools and to choose the right ones for me. Once decision has been made I was collaborating with one of Ivy’s great consultants while Eli is always making sure that things are on track. Furthermore, it is important to understand that working with Ivy means an end-to-end support, from day one all the way to interview preparations. Eli’s comprehensive guidance has been mostly reflected to me when few months after receiving my desirable offer he helped me applying to a major scholarship that I received, significantly helping me during my first year of MBA.
These days it’s absolutely crucial to work with professional admissions consultants before applying to an MBA- It’s so competitive out there that having a good team behind you is what makes the difference between an admissions offer/scholarship and a rejection. This is especially true if you’re aiming at an Ivy League school. I worked with Eli and Ivy MBA Consulting – and was extremely happy with them! I felt I had support every step of the way- They helped me understand what’s important to emphasize in my CV, how to write my essays in the most concise and impact-full way and how to be prepared for my interviews. They are really a full-package-one-stop-shop for getting in to your dream school.
With their help, I got interviews to all the schools I applied to, multiple admission offers and an offer+scholarship to my #1 school.
David and the Ivy Team were instrumental in my getting into my dream M7 school. I entered the MBA process fairly naively, thinking I can dabble on GMAT here and the application story there. The Ivy team were great mentors to me throughout the process and pushed me hard above and beyond – there is no “break” when you’re working with them! The process is highly structured but also catered to your individual stories. From initial strategy and positioning based on your strengths to guidance throughout the interview process, Ivy provides no-bs support and feedback throughout the entire admissions life cycle. I would send drafts in at 11pm and get feedback in my inbox the very next morning. No doubt Ivy is highly invested in their clients and maximizes each applicant’s chance of success. I could not have gotten this far without them!
Every person I talked with about his or her application process recommended working with Ivy. Super professional, caring and attentive! I got 24/7 support and a lot of important tips about the different schools and the application process. My feeling was that your success is Ivy’s success. Ivy’s network is very wide and they can connect you with students and alums from every possible school. They have years of experience and you know that for any question you have, you’ll get the right answer. Thanks to Eli I got into HBS!
As a current MBA student, I look back at the application process I did with Ivy , and definitely feel that I couldn’t have done that without them. Eli’s dedication and attention to each story and bullet point were extremely helpful. He always was attentive to any concern or request and knew to give the right advise and direction.
Eli is the type of guy that would do anything to get his clients his wishing. Including calling the dean himself and disputing the decision. And that is exacly what I wanted when I hired him!
Eli is extremely dedicated to his students, which is why he has the highest acceptance rates of all the consultants I considered. In addition, when Eli helped me to get into Harvard and Wharton , he provided 4 consultants dedicated to me. A CV expert, an essay expert, a personal interview expert, and a team-based discussion (Wharton) simulation. All four were working under Eli’s umbrella to make sure that I get the best service that I can get. Thank you so much for all your help Eli!
Can’t argue with the results. Eli & Ivy have crafted a unique strategy for my MBA applications, one that only professionals at this caliber can come up with. The service was on-point and very thorough. Eli was always available to consult on the smallest details and was there to support in tough and stressful times. The results : Interviews at GSB, HBS, Wharton, Columbia and Booth. I got three offers thus grateful for choosing Eli & Ivy as my consultants!
My experience with Ivy MBA Consulting was more than just smooth sailing – it got me even further than I expected to go. Everyone involved was professional and knowledgeable, especially David, the founder, who takes a personal interest in every client. His evaluation of my profile refocused me on schools I didn’t think I had a chance at. I ended up applying to only the top 4 schools and got into two of them. And yes – in one of the top 2 as well!! I felt safe putting my trust in David’s and the rest of the team’s opinions, and never felt a reason to second-guess. The Ivy team also continually pushes you to make that extra effort to turn your application into the best it can possibly be, especially when it comes to content. A good story isn’t enough – it has to be amazing, and they’ll keep working on it with you until it gets there. Finally, the value you get for what you pay is fantastic: once I opted for the package deal, I never heard about money again, even though I had multiple interviews and assignments to complete after the initial applications. I would recommend Ivy to anyone who is looking for a really dedicated and professional team to help them through the MBA application process
Eli allowed me to get two acceptances, and two waiting lists out of four applications. My profile was not ideal for a MBA, I received many suggestions to avoid trying, and none of the members of my circle ever did similar programmes. Eli from the beginning gave me great advice, guidance, support, and coaching. He made me understand the intricacies of the application process, with the information that you will not find on the websites or books. It is thanks to him that I was able to get accepted and enjoy one of the best periods of my life. I recommend 100%.
I applied to business school with a nontraditional background and working with Ivy MBA Consulting was extremely beneficial for me. Ivy consultants are very professional- they accompanied me throughout the entire process and provided continuous feedback which helped me focus my narrative and demonstrate my strengths which was key to making my application successful.
During the process I felt that the work and feedback that Ivy provided was instructive, timely, and always high quality. I was able to get a lot done in a short period of time and always felt confident I was taking the right steps based on the feedback I got from my consultant. Throughout my experience I felt there was a good dialogue between me and my consultant. They were always very open to listening and would sometimes change their perspective based on my feedback even though they had vastly more experience than I did going through the process. This exemplified for me that they were truly listening and thinking logically through my application and personal story and weren’t just acting as a well-oiled “application machine”.
Working on applications can be stressful and it is important to have someone by your side who can put things in perspective which is what I found with Ivy. Using Ivy was definitely money well spent and I would recommend that anyone who is thinking of applying to business school should get on a call with Ivy and hear what they have to say.
Eli and his team are simply one of the best in the business. I researched almost 12 companies before deciding to work with Ivy. They are candid and also helped present my experience and skills in the most honest yet impressive light in my apps and essays. They know all the schools intimately and also are very pleasant people to work with in this intense and stressful process. I ended up getting into one of my dream schools. These are not just words and I am not big on exaggeration, these are understatements. His help truly changed the course of my life – I recommend them in the strongest possible terms. I currently attend CBS.
I met Eli when I first started to think about MBA in the U.S. He was willing to spend significant time even with someone like me, who was not sure at all that he will apply. Throughout the process Eli was professional and candid. I think that he made a great job helping me decide which schools are a good fit for me, which is crucial for an international student who doesn’t really know them well. Working with him was demanding and intense, but he is very experienced and always knew what to say when things were hard. While some consultants may simply prepare your application for you, Eli forced me to think and work hard – and it paid off. The bottom line is exactly what I wanted – I’m in a M-7 school, and was also admitted to a couple of other schools.
Once I decided to peruse my MBA I knew I had to put everything I’ve got. The race is long and as an applicant, you have no way to really know your competition. Having an expert on your side will benefit you and David is that expert. Ivy Consulting is a team of professionals who know what works and how to guide you and make sure you get there. The application process is extensive and entails a lot of self-evaluation and retrospective, having a consultant that knows you, cares about your success and genuinely wants you to excel is a must. These are exactly the traits that Ivy Consulting provides. I went through this process determined to be as ready as I can be to grasp the opportunity when it shows itself. David and his team made sure of that. I was admitted to three out of five schools I applied to with each of them offering a substantial fellowship. Starting this journey, I would never imagine this outcome. You cannot go wrong with Ivy Consulting!
I have used Ivy in the application process and I must say you just feel you work with professionals from the first moment. Everything was structured, organized but still personal tailored to my needs and profile. Most important I was admitted to the program I wanted. Highly recommend!
From shaping my application strategy to thoroughly preparing me for my HBS interview, Ivy’s thoughtful people have done everything just right. They are super professional, have a ton of experience and are ready to put an endless effort to achieve your (truly) mutual goal. Eli really measures himself in terms of acceptance rates, and his statistics are undeniably amazing. I would warmly recommend anyone who seriously thinks about applying to a top B-school to contact Ivy and their professionals- they will make sure you arrive at your desired destination.
I worked with Eli and Limor from the Ivy team. They helped me realize how to build my application and do the best job I can on every component the admission teams review. High response rate – usually within a few hours. I highly recommend Ivy for future MBA students.
Eli was super responsive ever since the first time we met. He was the first person who ever told me that I have a unique story and an interesting background, and that I am worthy of admittance to any school. He has a very strong team of individuals that helped me the whole way from writing my applications through to interviews. Beyond this, Eli was also super helpful in guiding me through the thoughts process before I even committed to applying, and made me realize what was realistic for me to expect of myself. I got into my top school, HBS, and others as well, and received a very significant amount in scholarship. I am very thankful to Eli and his team and have recommended them to many of my friends already.
I’m writing this for me. I want to remember always how great a part IVY had in realizing my life goals. I could not have done this without them. Under the guidance of Lianne and David, I managed to get to 3 out of my four dream schools and get maximum fellowships. When I got the big bold “YES” from my mostly strived school, I felt like I could have achieved anything. If I would have decided, a decade ago, to become an astronaut – today I could have become one. That was the feeling. I remember that time once when one of Ivy representative called me to ask if I was pleased with the process. It was at mid-July, several weeks prior application submission. I answered that Lianne is always providing me with the best attention, but it was not a wonder as she is a new consultant, so I am her only applicant. The representative laughed and replied that Lianne is guiding five applicants. With response time as swift as Lianne provided me, I could have never guessed. There was that occurrence when I came out of an interview, and had to write a post-interview reflection. Just like a Formula-1 racing car entering a pit-stop, David (based in Vietnam at the time) and Lianne (Eastern time) came up in a convention called, and under three different time zones, we discussed my interview and what should be my strategy for writing the reflection. I recall the time when I had to submit one of my applications during a holiday I was spending at a hotel with my broader family. Lianne spent a white night rephrasing one of my essays so that I could enter the holiday peacefully. There are so many anecdotes that are all summarizing to the same point – David and Lianne were there for me. They were happy for me when I succeeded, cheered me up when the times turn difficult. They treated my dream like it was theirs. I owe them this Olympus climb, and will forever owe them.
My acquaintance with David had begun way before I even took the GMAT. When I contacted him, at the advice of a friend of mine, he gave me priceless advice helping me to better position myself towards the application process. When I finally started applying I was exposed to Ivy’s strong professionalism and know-how, which manifested in a meticulously planned process. David and his colleagues’ advice and input made a huge and measurable difference in each phase: the initial strategic planning, the writing of the application materials, the preparation for the interviews (including invaluable mocks), the scholarship essays, and the final decision between the schools. David and Ivy’s team were always available and responded promptly to each question or worry that I had, something that is particularly helpful as the process is nerve-racking and filled with uncertainty. Thanks to Ivy’s support I was admitted to two top-tier schools with scholarships covering 50%-100% of tuition, providing me with an amazing return on investment! I highly recommend anyone looking to unlock his or her full potential in the MBA admissions process to have Ivy and David by their side. Their services are a must for applicants taking on this serious challenge.
Spoiler Alert: I interviewed at Harvard, was admitted to Columbia, and will be starting at Wharton this fall as a merit scholarship recipient (I only applied to these three programs).
But I can assure you that I’m not the all-star b-school candidate that you might be imagining. I didn’t go to a fancy undergrad, my GPA was just average, my gmat score was just above 700, and I am a non-traditional applicant a few years older than the average b-school student. My x-factor was undeniably Eli David. I am absolutely certain that I would not have had the success I had without Eli, Rom, and the IVY team- it’s a definitive fact. It’s truly difficult to effectively capture the profound amount of knowledge and expertise of his team and the limitless support- both in terms of the application process but also the demanding emotional duress- that I received from IVY.
First, Eli was incredibly strategic and methodical in terms of how I marketed myself to business schools as well as how I should approach the application workload and essays. It was efficient and effective, there’s no way I could have juggled all components with the demanding job that I had.
Second, as you might know by now, applying to business school is A LOT of work and it’s a grueling process. You have to get deep and introspective- especially if you apply to a program like HBS. There were so many moments that I wavered, feeling insecure, inadequate, and just plain exhausted. But Eli was there rooting for me every day, at every juncture. He was my biggest cheerleader and advocate.
Third, Eli’s efficacy is also highlighted when I think about my experience vetting other consultants. I took my GMATs the prior year with intentions to apply but ended up not doing so after speaking with several “Top 10 Business School Consultants” that I found on Poets & Quants who didn’t seem to think I had a shot and weren’t invested in me as a real candidate but just as another client who’d pay a fee.
Working with Eli is hands down the best decision I’ve made in the business school application process. You’d be a fool to not work with him.
Ivy MBA Consulting got me the results that I wanted. The working methodology is very well-organized and builds you up to reach your full potential. The consultants are very responsive to questions, provided an excellent background on each school’s application process, and provided clear guidance on the elements of my profile that fitted well with each school. During the first round I applied to 4 top 7 universities at the US with different MBA consultant and was dissatisfied with the results. I decided to use Ivy MBA Consulting services during the second round after I consulted with many friends of being a great MBA consulting company. The results were amazing, I was admitted to 3 out of 5 universities with a significant scholarship!!! I 100% recommend Ivy MBA Consulting as your MBA consultant. It is worth every penny.
Eli and the team at Ivy consulting where there for me in every step of the long journey towards a top-tier MBA. From helping me understand which schools are right for me, to brainstorming a great strategy for each school, unrelentlessly honing the essays I have written until they were perfect, and preparing me for interviews.
Eli has also been extremely flexible and accomodating towards certain specific constraints I had along the way, and always available to provide guidance or a quick answer for a question that “bugged” me.
Not only did I feel great throughout the process, the end results speak for themselves – I was admitted to three top-tier schools, each with a generous scholarship, and Ivy consulting has a huge part in that achievement.
Thank you!
David has been a tremendous help and over the past year and has helped through 7 applications leading to an admission into a top MBA.
Most consultants I talked to dissed me because I was too young but David believed in me. With Ivy, you’re not a number, you’re a person with your aspirations and dreams. This is what differentiates them from other consultants. David, Lianne and the others were always here to help when I faced a difficult decision, always here to listen when I had concerns. For instance, while other consultants suggested I diversify my target schools and apply to some tier-2 school although I specifically told them that I did not want to do so, David understood my decision and helped me make the best of the situation.
David values each and everyone of his clients, he will do his absolute best to make you happy no matter if that demands more works or less money. The Ivy team is truly and heavily invested in your success and that is rare enough to be pointed out.
I highly recommend David and Ivy because beyond having great resources and knowledge of admission processes, they treat people with the utmost respect, consideration and support.
Thank you everyone at Ivy for helping me achieve a long time dream.
