The free session with the MBA Mission team was an unbelievably helpful starting point for me on my MBA application journey. We covered so much ground in the 30 minutes, and it really helped me clarify how to proceed. In addition to the call, Jeremy directed me to the free resouces on the MBA Mission website, which were super helpful. I used them at every step of the process, including application writing and interview prep. In particular, the school by school interview guides are awesome. I previously prepped for an interview for the HBS 2+2 program, and this interview prep guide gave me so much more clarity on what to focus my prep on compared to the last time I had an interview. I also found the videos succinct and helpful. I could not recommend Jeremy and MBA Mission enough!
I really enjoyed working with and getting to know Jeremy over the course of my MBA application journey. He made me feel more confident as an applicant and his insight and input helped to make the process more streamlined but also more fun. He is highly experienced amongst peers in this field and it was easy to click with him right from the beginning. He is a great confidant, teacher, cheerleader, expectation-setter, and friend. There are many MBA consultants out there to choose from, but what made Jeremy stand out was that he seemed to believe in my goals and was excited to help me get there. His services are a higher premium to pay, but he made it well worth it.
Jeremy has a magic power where he can turn your essay into something unbelievable. He went through my story and really get to know me. The suggestions he provided are so helpful and really help the story connect together and flow better. He is here and very responsive when you need help and always tries to make it work. He is a great pleasure to work with, and during the time I worked with him, I look forward to every single meeting! 😀 Highly recommend!
Jeremy is awesome. MBA applications can be stressful since you have to juggle work, research the different programs, and meet deadlines. Jeremy makes the process an adventure and does not give up until you’ve done your best. He knows what buttons to push. He can build chemistry with anyone because he is so likable. I recommend Jeremy to anyone looking to submit an MBA application and having fun while doing it.
I experienced Jeremy as a fantastic admissions consultant. I did a free consultation with him ~10 months before Round 1 applications, during which he immediately added value by enthusiastically sharing ideas of how I can tell my story (which I struggled to see as unique before the consultation). I did 10-15 other such free consultations with firms and independent consultants, but most were dull and the consultants either lacked interest or I just didn’t feel I would click with them. Jeremy is a straight up person, not a sales person — he even told me he sees no value for me to do his firm’s or any other firm’s “pre application prep/early bird programs” and gave me two takeaways to beef up my profile before applications open. I did not listen to Jeremy and went with another highly rated firm’s program, only to be left disappointed. Fortunately, when I reached back out to Jeremy in May he was willing to work with me on my apps. From May to January, Jeremy always responded on time, offered fresh perspectives and ideas, guided me and asked the right questions, helped me tell my stories in the strongest way possible (the biggest value add for me personally), prepared me for interviews, and ultimately helped me navigate multiple M7 admissions offers, making his fees worth it. I would work with him again in a heartbeat.
I recently applied to early admission MBA programs and used Jeremy’s help. He was super knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and very responsive to every message I sent him. He gave me great advice, guidance, and feedback through the process of application and made it a lot easier for me. I highly recommend that you schedule a call with Jeremy and realize the magic he can do for your application and helping you refine your story. Thank you, Jeremy!
7 years ago, I bought Jeremy’s “The Complete start-to-finish MBA Admissions Guide” while visiting family at Stanford University. At the time, I was interested in pursuing a full-time MBA in the US (I’m from Belgium). Years passed, and in 2020, this interest evolved into applying for Executive MBA programs at London Business School and Cambridge University. With only eight years of work experience, I was on the young side of the applicants’ pool (the average is 12-14 years). The grades of my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees weren’t excellent either. Finally, I had changed careers a few years ago, so wasn’t as senior as most applicants. Nevertheless, I thought I’d give it a try and would learn from the experience either way. So I dusted off this book and closely followed Jeremy’s advice.
When I was invited to interview with both programs, I couldn’t quite believe it. Imagine my surprise when I was subsequently offered a place at both LBS and Cambridge!
The application process took several months, and Jeremy’s book was instrumental in maximizing my chances. I particularly liked the section on ‘active verbs’ which proved useful for both my resume and the numerous essays required. His section on essays saved me tons of time and enabled me to approach each essay with a clear structure. I do not think I would have received two offers without Jeremy’s book!
Jeremy is a superb consultant to have on your side – not only because of his brilliant editing and writing skills, but also because he actually cares for his clients and makes an effort to exceed expectations in any way he can.
I was due to apply to five schools last year and couldn’t apply to a single one due to personal issues. I asked MBA mission to extend my contract by a month and being the wonderful set of people that they are, they were happy to oblige.
However, my consultant at the time had to go on an emergency sick leave and this was a bit of a bummer as I had already worked a fair bit with him and he already knew my story.
Thankfully, Jeremy (who is the founder of MBA Mission and has much higher rates than their usual consultants) offered to help me pro bono, for an entire month!
Coming from someone of his level, this was incredible. His ideas, edits, grammar and writing skills are excellent. He is also really positive and upbeat and really believes in you. I thought I’d have to tell him my entire story again but he caught on pretty quick and was able to add a lot of value in a fairly short time frame.
Would recommend Jeremy to anyone. I had a fantastic experience.
When I met Jeremy over a year ago, I immediately knew his energy and inspiration was exactly what I needed to attack this application process. Jeremy helped me through multiple applications, interviews, and waitlists, and approached Version 22 of each essay with the same level of passion and commitment as he did on Day 1.
Jeremy’s wealth of knowledge, writing skills, and ability to tell a powerful story are unparalleled. He brings insight to every decision, no matter how big or small, every step of the way. Yet, what makes him the best (and in my opinion, the only) choice for a consultant is that he truly connects with each applicant he works with and is committed to their success. He is more than a consultant, but through this process, becomes a mentor, cheerleader, and friend. Each moment, he was truly invested, sometimes even more so than I was! Jeremy pushed me further than I thought possible in my self-reflection. He helped me to find the impact in achievements I never saw and then package it all into an application. I not only got into my top choice school, but have become more confident, more certain of my goals, and a better writer in the process!
I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without Jeremy. Working with him was the best decision I ever made.
I am really glad I worked with Jeremy, in a really short period and the deadline was approaching fast, and I was really anxious about the result of this journey, it was my dream program, one shot, that what I was aiming too. Jeremy’s ability to bring the best in people and make you aim higher is phenomenal, he is also very practical and does a great job to help you practice for what is required, I was surprised by the results that came in under really short time, Jeremy’s work was efficient, eye-opening and on point. Happy to know him as a person, and I would recommend him to any high aspiring prospected admits in top schools.
Jeremy knows exactly how to transform a candidate’s character traits/experiences/life story and articulate them in a way that is easily (and attractively) digestible for admissions offices.
The MBA application process is a very expensive “black box” between tutors, consultants, applications, school visits, online programs, etc. The scariest part of which is that you never truly know that you are on the best possible path towards admissions at your target program.
Jeremy takes the “black box” and lights it up for you. He is the most experienced person I have come across during my MBA application process by FAR, he knows the ins and outs of every school, is one of the best communicators that I have ever encountered and is very easy to work with. These skills enabled Jeremy to help me in the most efficient and enjoyable way as I navigated the process, ultimately leading to admission to my top target school.
From the first phone call, I could tell that Jeremy knows this process cold. Furthermore, his ability to dictate prose and work with me to craft my story in an articulate and professional manner for admissions officers gave me comfort that I was putting myself in the best possible position to secure a position in the class of 2022.
Lastly, my final recommendation is to not be intimidated by Jeremy’s cost. What you spend with Jeremy will be returned back to you 10-fold during the process in terms of stress mitigation, time spent going in circles, and more (regardless of your MBA admissions outcome). You should plan to book Jeremy a year in advance and commit to putting in the effort with him throughout that timeframe to ensure a successful process for yourself. Jeremy’s reputation does precede him, deservedly so, and he does book up 6 – 12 months in advance of the first round application deadline. Hire Jeremy before his slate gets filled with other candidates.
My time with Jeremy unofficially began almost two years ago. I was considering applying to business school, and we connected for an initial conversation. Although I didn’t end up applying that year, I recall being struck by his generosity of both time and energy, as he expressed his willingness to work with me on brainstorming my own life goals to determine whether business school was the right next step for me.
Fast forward 18 months, and Jeremy and I began working on b-school applications. From the initial brainstorming session in September, up until this moment as I write this review on the first day of May, Jeremy has been an unwavering ally in the face of a challenging process and a particularly challenging application season. Our time together has more than paid for itself, as I’ve received almost half off the tuition of the school I’ll be attending in the fall through merit scholarships. Throughout the entire process, Jeremy consistently went way above and beyond the call of duty.
More than anything, Jeremy helped me to identify key elements of my goals and passions. The level of introspection he expected of me brought me to reflect so deeply upon what I want out of my business school experience and my life beyond graduation that our working relationship felt more akin to mentor/mentee than consultant/applicant. I was lucky to choose someone who turned out to be a true life coach, and I am grateful to have made such an enduring friend.
Work with Jeremy. It may be the best decision you’ll ever make.
Jeremy’s expertise as a consultant, diligence as a writer/editor, and empathy as a friend/colleague are unmatched. Jeremy and I started working together over a year ago. Not only did his coaching and mentoring help result in my acceptance to my top choices, but it also helped me to understand my own motivations and perspective. Honestly, I underestimated the impact of the latter on my ability to derive purpose from my own experiences. I would strongly recommend Jeremy and his team to anyone looking to maximize the value of their degree before and after the admissions process.
To start – Jeremey is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire MBA landscape and is the main reason I was accepted to my top school early action.
For anyone that is serious about getting their MBA, they should engage Jeremey ASAP. Our engagement felt more like a peer/mentor helping me navigate a complex process. This is incredibly valuable when times are stressful, and you need suggestions on how best to proceed. I know we will remain in touch for many years. Jeremy is super easy to work with and was always available to answer any questions – big or small. From the very beginning, he spent significant time understanding what makes me who I am today. He has the gifted ability to ask the right questions in order to pull out critical stories from your past that will help improve your essays and applications. I have what some might call a “common” resume for MBA applicants (background, test scores, etc.), but Jeremy helped me identify the hobbies and past experiences that differentiate me from other candidates.
His suggestions really help you craft a powerful story about why you are a great fit for a given school. By the time I had an on-campus interview at my top school, I felt incredibly prepared because of my practice session which Jeremy.
Whether you have been considering an MBA for years or are just starting the process, Jeremey can bring a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly smooth out the application process and produce the desired results. I entered the process with a lot of unknowns, and I could not have gotten accepted where I did without Jeremy’s help. I cannot recommend him more!
About one month before the application deadline, I found myself with a below-average GMAT, an unopened application, and a lot of questions about whether it was worth making a run for it. I spoke with a number of companies and consultants but was by far the most impressed with mbaMission. I had many friends that had worked with other companies and everyone seemed to have the most trust in and best results from the mbaMission process. As I thought about consultants, Jeremy came the most highly recommended. Jeremy is the best in the industry and my biggest concern was whether or not he’d be able to squeeze me in. His experience, his methods, and his approach are second to none. The thing about Jeremy is that beyond being a phenomenal consultant, he is a total rockstar of a person. Jeremy will become your biggest cheerleader and will be right by your side throughout the process. The process with Jeremey starts well before you even open the application. I think part of the key with Jeremy is his ability to guide you through the self-discovery process – really understand your background, learn about what drives you, and figure out what really matters and how business school fits in all of that. Jeremy and I were on the phone daily and emailing frequently between calls. This was all going on throughout the winter holidays, which didn’t bother Jeremy, but it wasn’t lost on me that I was taking him away from time with his family. For Jeremy, I don’t think there is a separation – he cares tremendously about his business and everyone he works with. After getting through the application, making it to the interview round, which consisted of many mocks with Jeremy, and then finally getting good news from the only school I applied to – the Stanford GSB – Jeremy was my second call (after my family!). I cannot recommend Jeremy enough – he changed the trajectory of my education, my career, and my life and helped me realize that my dreams were achievable; even if I didn’t believe it initially!
Thank you, Jeremy!
After attending one of Jeremy’s free online events, I booked in a free consultation with him. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He was insightful, encouraging and most important of all honest. He gave me advice regarding strengthening my profile and tips on how to go into an interview well prepared. I’ve read his book on admissions at least twice and it has been an extremely reliable resource.
Once I got put on the waitlist, I immediately reached out to Jeremy. We went back and forth on how to better the waitlist video I had to make and quickly found a solution. Not only did he greatly improve my video, making it more personal and thoughtful, but also helped me escape the trap of overthinking things. Jeremy’s experience and knowledge with these processes are invaluable resources for future applicants. I highly recommend Jeremy and mbaMission to anyone who’s serious about getting their MBA.
Jeremy’s wealth of experience in the MBA consulting world is unparalleled. There was no question left unanswered, and each answer was highly informative and valuable. Jeremy understands how the system really works and is unafraid to tell it like it is, a crucial quality in a successful MBA consultant. While Jeremy is in high demand and evidently a busy person, he always made himself extremely accessible and responsive to my needs. In addition, Jeremy went out of his way to help me with professional career advice beyond simply with MBA guidance. This isn’t someone who has sat solely in academic circles his entire life. Rather, Jeremy was the speechwriter for one of the most consequential government officials in modern history. In essence, Jeremy “gets it” and wants to see you succeed in life. Based on my experience, Jeremy will not make suggestions that don’t make sense for your long-term goals and will never look to rip you off in any form. He is a true gift!
I spoke to several consultants asking whether they believe they could get me to Stanford. Jeremy answered that he did believe but would not bet his house on that. As 32 years old European working in asset management with poor GPA (though three diplomas), 760 GMAT, and no extracurriculars I could not expect any honest answer to be more optimistic. I personally thought my chances were nonexistent but wanted to try anyway not to regret in the future if the situation in my country further deteriorates.
Reading people’s thoughts about application processes I expected to spend hours writing countless drafts only to discard them and start over. Thanks to structure Jeremy imposed that was not the case. Brainstorming document I wrote at the beginning served as a base for every essay and short answer throughout the whole process. Once I wrote the first version of every essay (composed of stories we picked together from brainstorming document) and sent it to Jeremy a ping-pong began. mbaMission claims 2-day return policy, but with Jeremy, it was a 1-day return policy with rare exceptions (to be honest he could be less obsessed with punctuality). As we worked on several documents at once every day I returned home after work there were emails with his remarks and corrections waiting to be answered. His immediate responses made the whole process quick and seamless.
Jeremy claims that he only holds a mirror and you write what you see. I wish all mirrors worked like his one. He made a misfit I thought I was into an independent thinker who changed the world around him, maybe even a rebel. The interesting and compelling story Jeremy helped me develop differed tremendously from initial ideas I had for my essays and I’m certain it significantly increased my chances. However, essays are not just stories, they have to be written in an interesting and correct way. As an international applicant with English as my third language and experience writing only research papers, I am by far a capable writer. Here Jeremy’s help was also invaluable. He not only corrected my English but also changed the wording and structures making the essays just fun to read. The volume of corrections was overwhelming and sometimes even ended in him correcting his own changes. The final outcome was way better than I had dreamed about not only in terms of stories but also correctness and quality of writing. The only reservation I have was that he was more focused on making me satisfied than making the applications best. Given his experience, he should just know when to stop polishing and wasting time on irrelevant changes. It was my first time doing that, how could I informatively decide whether I was satisfied? But he solved this problem by sending my essays to other consultants at MBA Mission whose remarks were invaluable. We stopped polishing when they had no comments left.
As Jeremy works only in start-to-finish packages, after completing essays time for mock interviews began. I don’t remember how many times we skyped but it significantly boosted my confidence. Moreover, I don’t know whether it was luck or experience, but out of thousands of questions available on the internet, the ones that we practiced and the ones I got during my interviews overlapped almost perfectly. I also participated in one mock Wharton’s TBD organized by mbaMission. It was a great experience as it allowed me to structure my actual TBD in such a way that my team performed great and its members thanked me afterward.
As a result of our cooperation, I was admitted to Stanford GSB and Wharton and dinged without an interview by HBS. Both schools granted me, sizeable fellowships. You probably wonder whether it makes sense to pay 10k for help with three applications. My reasoning was like this: as 32 reapplication was not an option for me so I wanted to be sure I did everything I could. I couldn’t forgive myself if I had applied alone and failed. Failure with the best consultant, on the other hand, would mean that I’m not made for that and need to take another path in my life. The price is steep but the whole MBA cost around 250k so it’s only 4% of the amount you will spend anyway (not taking into account alternative cost). If you don’t get in it’s a loss of 10k and comfort that you did all you could. If you are even considering a top MBA program you can probably afford such a one-off loss. And do not forget about scholarships – better application leads to higher financial aid you receive. The difference a great consultant makes in the application makes me feel sorry for people who can’t afford such help or just think they can do it on their own.
To sum up, if you look for someone who will help you develop your story and write it in a compelling way supporting you with all aspects of the application process and additionally boosting your self-esteem you can’t go wrong with Jeremy. If you want to make up stories, lie in your application, or look for someone who will do the work for you, go somewhere else.
Jeremy is incredibly in-tune with the happenings of the MBA community and seeks to provide substantive feedback in a way that creates actionable plans to improve your application. His understanding of the schools’ values goes a long way when determining which aspects of yourself to highlight in an application. I applied for the class of 2022 and have been waitlisted at Kellogg. I sincerely believe that had I leaned on Jeremy’s insight and feedback sooner in the process, I may not be in MBA-limbo at the moment. That said, I had a consultation with Jeremy regarding creating an actionable waitlist plan, all in 30 minutes! Efficient and very direct would be two words I use to describe his style. I appreciate the candor and ability to get right to the meat of what needs to be done.
My application journey was an emotional two-year roller coaster, and if it wasn’t for Jeremy’s guidance and support, it would have been impossible for me to achieve my goal. Today I’m proudly holding an MBA admission form Columbia Business School. There were many times that I completely lost my hope, but like a compassionate family member, Jeremy truly believed in me and helped me get back on my feet again. He expended his time and energy even way beyond his professional obligations to me. Indeed, his invaluable professionalism and unsparing support have made me indebted to him for the rest of my life. I will always keep my contact with him and cherish the memory of working with him. I moved to the USA from Iran for graduate school. A year after graduation with a PhD in electrical engineering and getting a job as a microchip TCAD engineer, I realized that I’m still far away from my dream job and I must take the plunge and make a huge career shift. Once again in my life, I was about to take an ambitious risk and apply for the top 5 business schools to study MBA to achieve my long-term goals. My pure engineering background seems as eccentric as my job title sounds to even some other engineers let alone the MBA admission officers. I had some private community service experience but because it was not popular in Iran to take community service leadership roles, I felt disadvantaged in relaying my community leadership impacts. It is safe to say that I was one of the most unconventional applicants among a pool of super talented applicants with relevant business or leadership background. This was a monumental challenge for me as I had to translate and market my leadership potentials and my life story in a convincing and comprehensible language to the admission committee reading my case. I knew I needed an expert professional and a mentor who could understand me and guide me through the process. After weeks of research, I narrowed down to mbaMission as the best consulting company. Fortunately, my GMAT teacher was in contact with Jeremy and connected me to him. I cannot overemphasize that it was one of the most precious phone calls I’d ever had in my life. Jeremy’s confidence, enthusiasm, and realistic evaluation of my case persuaded me that he is the one and with his help I would be successful! I discerned that even after our short conversation he truly appreciated my story and could give me the best value. It was only through the tip of the iceberg. We started with brainstorming at first and Jeremy gained a thorough picture of my story and background. Jeremy is amazing at seeing through your story, selecting the most valuable parts, and then beautifully retelling a new winning authentic version of it, highlighting your true aspirations. Reading between the lines, he even highlighted some points whose values had remained obscure even to myself. He clearly laid out the plan and helped me to efficiently implement every step of the application process, from writing my resume to preparing my recommendation, answering the online application questions, and preparing for my interviews. He was always on time and responsive. His feedbacks were essential for me to prepare the first drafts of my essays, significantly saving my time. He spent a lot of time helping me coherently answer interview questions with finesse and confidence. He even asked his mbaMission colleagues who graduated from the schools that I got an interview to do mock interviews with me. Those interviews gave me a critical perspective and boosted my confidence in giving cogent answers. Every single step of the application is important, and Jeremy helped me present my best self. I strongly recommend Jeremy to anyone who wants to apply for a top business school, because I have no doubt that he will do the same for them. He is a gem.
Profile: 770 GMAT, 3.7 GPA, Finance background, HBS admit
Jeremy supported me with my HBS and GSB applications. We were on a relatively tight timeline (~2.5 months to complete both applications and GMAT) and had a lot of work to do to shape my application.
Jeremy’s wisdom and expertise were critical in helping me shape a cohesive, differentiated candidacy. Having seen dozens of applications over the years, he was a great person to partner with as I was crafting my story. He provides direct and constructive feedback – a necessity during the essay writing process – and was meticulous in making sure that every part of my application played an impactful role in promoting my candidacy. He was easy to work with, responsive, and provided me with much-needed accountability during the process.
In short, I’m confident that my candidacy would not have ended with a positive outcome had it not been for Jeremy’s guidance.
I worked with Jeremy on five business school applications. Throughout the process, he was an incredibly valuable mentor and friend to have on my side. He truly exemplifies what it means to really care about someone’s success.
Even though I had a non-traditional international background, Jeremy was quick to help me identify my key profile strengths, which allowed me to tell my story in the best way possible. After submitting my applications, Jeremy and I held several mock interview sessions, which undoubtedly helped me overcome my nerves and allowed me to communicate my goals and objectives in a clear and confident way. After being accepted to four of the five schools I applied to, Jeremy was the first to congratulate me and offer his help on the next steps.
I appreciated how Jeremy continued to support me throughout the application process. Even after being accepted, Jeremy was quick to answer all my questions and even helped me complete the verification process and financial aid applications.
I highly recommend any prospective MBA student to work with Jeremy, as you will no doubt be in the best hands!
My experience with Jeremy was beyond excellent, superb. I first got in touch with Jeremy when a close friend of mine recommended his services, after a half an hour call I was sure he would create the most value for myself and my story, but after sighting his cost I won’t lie I was doubtful. Either way, having a below average Gmat, I convinced myself that I needed the best consultant in the market. A couple of consultants had told me “I mean I consider myself pretty good but Jeremy is Jeremy, he practically created the process” – I can assure you, he is the BEST. I took the risk and selected Jeremy!
I applied to 2 top MBA programs in the US, one top MBA abroad (having heard that I had a better chance) and 3 other top 20 MBAs in the US, a total of six schools. I worked with Jeremy extensively and tried to squeeze my money’s worth throughout the process. I applied to all six MBA programs in the second round, and after creating the perfect story, courtesy of Jeremy, I seemed pretty confident. I received five interview invitations out of the six schools and thankfully was accepted to four. I got accepted to my dream school, and surely it was an easy decision for me since I got a full ride as well. I won’t say that Jeremy does all the work, because he surely does not, but he helps you find and express the best part of each prospective student to accommodate the admissions committees.
I would not be weeks away of starting my MBA at my dream school if it was not for Jeremy, he may seem expensive, but I can assure that he is CHEAP in comparison with what he does. I believe his team is the best consulting team out there. If you want to be accepted to a top program and you are not convinced in getting a consultant. I will only say this, its 250k plus of expenses at every program, a couple of thousands more won’t significantly change the debt one takes, but it may help you bump up from a top 15 program to a top 5 in a jiff – think about it. Jeremy was one of the best decisions I ever made during the process!
I worked with Jeremy on my HBS and GSB applications. Throughout the process, he was an incredibly valuable mentor to have on my side. With all the experience he has worked with clients, Jeremy knows how to pull all of the pieces together. He will help you find connections between your past experiences and interests that you may not have seen and work with you to craft a compelling, yet authentic, narrative around it. As a candidate from a more over-represented background who was struggling at the beginning of the essay brainstorming process, Jeremy’s insights were much appreciated. Further, after I received an interview invitation, Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure I was well-prepared. We discussed a game plan for preparation and frameworks to help structure answers to common questions. He made himself readily available for multiple mock interviews, provided frank and thoughtful feedback, and connected me to another consultant within mbaMission for an additional mock interview and outside perspective. All of this was incredibly helpful and, thanks to Jeremy, enabled me to go into the interview with confidence.
From a workstyle perspective, Jeremy is a true professional. He communicates timelines clearly upfront and always sticks to them, and is very responsive, particularly in crunch time. I’m sure he has a lot going on between all that he does, but I always felt that I had his full attention and that he had dedicated a lot of time to my application ahead of our calls/meetings. He provides feedback in a straightforward, no-nonsense style that gets right to the heart of what is important. Beyond that, he goes out of his way to get to know you on a personal level which helps him to deliver very thoughtful guidance in what is an introspective process.
Jeremy was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend him and his firm to anyone considering an MBA admissions consultant.
I worked with Jeremy for my HBS and Stanford applications. Jeremy is attentive, caring, and very supportive throughout the application process. More importantly, working with Jeremy feels like you’re working with a great friend who is genuinely invested in your success.
In addition, Jeremy was always on time with his feedback and made an effort to ensure that he is available during crunch time.
I highly recommend Jeremy and would love to work with him again.
I first met Jeremy during my free 30-minute consultant with mbaMission. I was immediately impressed by Jeremy’s ability to quickly evaluate my candidacy and provide some critical pieces of feedback and advice as I navigated the application process, particularly where I stood with test scores and how to network with the AdComs.
When I decided I wanted to work with a consultant for my Round 2 applications, I picked mbaMission given the positive experience I had with Jeremy. Based on his knowledge of my candidacy, Jeremy recommended several consultants whom he thought would be a great fit, and my experience with my consultant was fantastic!
I appreciated how Jeremy continued to support me throughout the application process. Even after being accepted, Jeremy was quick to answer all my questions, and even met with me to discuss how to start thinking about my career goals before I get to school!
I highly recommend working with mbaMission, and if you get the chance to work with Jeremy you will certainly be in great hands!
I am originally from India and came to the US through an employment opportunity. I always aspired to go to a top business school but had no idea if this was a possibility. When I was ready to apply to Columbia Business School, I knew that I needed somebody to guide me through my application process. Somebody who not only really got me and could help guide me to tell my story in the best possible way, but also someone who would take an interest in me personally and help me through a process that I didn’t know much about and was daunting at times. Through my remarkable tutor, Whitney Garner, at Manhattan GMAT, I heard about mbaMission and she suggested that I sign up with Jeremy for a 30 min free consultation. These reviews can be powerful, but I highly recommend that you sign-up for the consultation and just have the experience I had for yourself! As soon as I got on the phone and heard Jeremy’s warm, confident and interested voice, I knew he was the ideal partner for me. He not only he knows what stories to tell, but also knows how to tell a story and how to explain why this is the story to tell! He helped me reflect my story/personality throughout my whole application – crafting my resume from scratch which draws attention to my accomplishments and personality, narrating essays which tell a very enthusiastic and authentic story, outlining short nuggets amplifying my aspirations and preparing me for interviews repeatedly (and on short notice) even when I was exhausted! I credit Jeremy’s guidance with my success and highly suggest any aspiring business school student work with Jeremy. He brought the best of me and helped me tell my story and most importantly he did so in a way that built my confidence. I am sure he will help you tell yours and be easy to work with throughout. He made my dream ‘in a dream’ a reality. I have no doubt that he will do to you too, all you need to do is take the first step.
Profile: Male, 730 GMAT, Top-40 Undergrad College
Accepted: Stanford
I worked with another mbaMission consultant for most of the application process (Liza Weale—she was absolutely amazing!), but in order to get an additional perspective going into my Stanford interview, she connected me with Jeremy. Jeremy went above and beyond the call of duty helping me prep for this interview. Not only did he make time to do a mock with me while he was on a family vacation, but he also offered to talk with me a second time the night before the interview to make sure I felt fully prepped going into it. He was straight up with me, offering both encouragement/praise and opportunities to get better (with suggestions of little tweaks to come off stronger). He gave me the confidence that I belong at the table of somewhere like Stanford (something I had a bit of self-doubt about) and helped me feel ready and excited going into the interview. I came out of the interview feeling as though it went as well as it could have and I can’t thank Jeremy enough for his help making this happen.
I jumped in the MBA application journey pretty late in the cycle with not much time to do a deep self-reflection and was initially left clueless in terms of coming up with stories that are uniquely personal and interesting. Then I met Jeremy, who carried me through the brainstorming process, took seemingly unrelated pieces of anecdotes, and weaved them into coherent narratives that would have allowed me to be a stand-out candidate. Jeremy was also very patient, enduring many rounds of drafting my essay responses with a goal of making sure that my stories have enough substance. Also extremely knowledgeable in details of each MBA program. No doubt Jeremy has been highly successful in MBA admissions consulting business for so many years and I would certainly be in a group of the reviewers here who highly recommends working with Jeremy.
When I initially booked my free consultation with Jeremy, I very much expected him to sell me on the benefits of choosing mbaMission, and why I needed to be a client as soon as possible. That was not the case in the slightest.
Instead, I received very direct, sincere career advice that involved convincing me why I don’t need the services offered by mbaMission at the moment, and that I should just be focusing on being my best professional and community member. When I needed more advice a few months later, Jeremy took the time to book another free consultation with me, which I greatly appreciated.
I cannot say enough about how highly I recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a genuine mentor. He exemplifies what it means to truly care about somebody’s personal and professional success.
I was introduced to Jeremy while I was in law school and contemplating a JD/MBA (I had worked in finance for several years before going back to school). We met on several occasions and I worked with him formally as my consultant and mentor. We discussed during several meetings whether going to business school was the right decision for my path as an entrepreneur. Jeremy was balanced, objective and extremely informed on not only the admissions process but also on the schools themselves, costs and benefits, overall experience and ultimately the value he thought it would provide.
Jeremy helped me decide that it was not in my best interest to pursue the MBA as my age, experience and life circumstances would afford me my desired path without the extra degree. I am a real estate entrepreneur and so thankful for Jeremy’s guidance in making the tough decision not to pursue additional schooling. This also left me without the additional debt burden, which would have made the destination to my goal all the more difficult.
I could not recommend Jeremy more highly as a consultant, mentor or friend. He has personally invested in his clients best outcome and I am so fortunate that I had him by my side throughout the process.
In Jeremy, I found a consultant who was deeply committed to my MBA ambitions. While he was impactful in all aspects of my application and ensured that my essays stood out and resume was attention-grabbing, he really made my investment worthwhile when he encouraged me to approach the HR team and ask for funding for my MBA studies. My firm had never sponsored anyone before, but with Jeremy’s guidance, I managed this process and my firm decided to pay for my studies in full. This actually became a difference maker in my application, because I was able to stand out in the application process as my firm’s first-ever sponsored applicant. I was admitted to my top-choice among MBA programs and returned to my firm to fulfill my commitments, meaning that, in the end, tens of thousands of dollars were saved. Now, many years post-MBA graduation, I am running my own business. My MBA was inexpensive and led to a continuous record of success and I feel lucky that I got to work with someone who thought not just about my applications (which were excellent) but also my pocketbook.
I cannot more highly recommend that for someone even slightly considering applying for an MBA, you speak with Jeremy. You will have a better sense for your true motivations after and, If you decide to apply, will have kicked off your process with the best guide you could find. I contacted Jeremy for help identifying and clarifying the key pieces of my story to articulate to my top choice school through the essay. Jeremy was so incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful that I sought more help on two additional applications. I do not suggest pushing up against deadlines but in my case, I had to, and Jeremy worked with me to deliver his feedback over the holidays in time for me to incorporate it. I would not have been admitted to my top choice m7 program without his guidance. Do yourself a favor and reach out.
Jeremy was absolutely fantastic to work with! First of all, I was not an ideal candidate as I came to MBA Admissions with a 480 GMAT score but wanted to apply to top schools. A close friend had a great experience with MBA Admissions so I thought I would give them a try. Jeremy was fantastic to work with and I know I wouldn’t have gotten into Cambridge without him. He was very easy to work with, very thoughtful and genuine in his approach. It was evident that he reviewed my profile very thoroughly and remembered what I had written. He was very honest and upfront, yet also very encouraging and willing to do everything in his power to help me succeed. His writing skills are phenomenal, he really helped me organize and put into words my thoughts and stories in a way that was captivating. He always made time for me, even when I needed abrupt help. He even helped provide insight and guidance for the GMAT and even connected me to a great GMAT tutor. The application process turned out to be a lot more tedious than I had expected and he was there every step of the way, from the seemingly less important items to mock interviews. He was always very prompt and responsive. Jeremy has talents out of this world and I’m grateful I was one of the few that got to partake of those. I highly, highly recommend Jeremy and MBA Admissions as a whole. Well worth the money when you get that acceptance offer!
When I was considering applying to business school, I reached out to several consultants and got the impression from almost all of them that they would have told me whatever I wanted to hear to get me to pay for their services. Jeremy was the exception. He was the only consultant who seemed to care about not just whether I could get into a top business school but whether getting an MBA would help me achieve my professional ambitions. After counseling me for several months, Jeremy helped me realize that business school was not the right path for me, even though that meant that I wouldn’t become one of his paid clients. Jeremy’s willingness to act against his own self-interest to help me in my career path has given me the utmost respect for his professional and personal integrity. As a fellow industry professional (GMAT Instructor), I recommend Jeremy to all my students and have received universally positive feedback.
I first approached Jeremy in 2012/13 to assist with my MBA admission process. As an international applying to US school, you don’t realize how many nuances there are to process. Jeremy and the mbaMission team were instrumental in helping me make the best application possible. When there were complications on timing due to family circumstances, Jeremy was supportive in helping me revise the timelines. Finally, when it was crunch time (and I finalizing applications for seven schools), I realized how personally invested Jeremy and the mbaMission team was in my success. Jeremy worked over Christmas Eve and Christmas day to help me submit my applications on time – Amazing! The school interview process was very intimidating but Jessica and Jeremy helped prepare me to the point where I looked forward to and enjoyed every interview (eventually got into a top 10 MBA program – UC Berkeley).
In 2015/16 – MBAmission assisted me with MBA recruiting. With lots of career options, I needed to work hard to ensure selecting something that made sense for me long term (career fulfillment, visa sponsorship etc.) mbaMission’s career coach, Angela, helped me develop my recruiting strategy which made it easier for me to demonstrate genuine motivation during my interviews.
I am still happy to be affiliated with mbaMission in 2019. I am currently on a weekly career coaching contract. I am now living in the US and want to continue to be successful without guesswork and mbaMission is helping me accomplish that. I am currently working with Elissa, who has been amazing in helping me overcome the challenges of starting a new role in an early stage team.
mbaMission has a team with diverse experience, which allows you to get the help most tailored to your background and needs – this is one of the reasons why my relationship with the firm has spanned 7 years. Jeremy and mbaMission have played a huge role in helping me get to and settle in the US. I have recommended friends and classmates to the firm. I highly recommend mbaMission to anyone who is contemplating taking this big leap and what to do so successfully!
I found mbaMission through a friend and engaged Jeremy initially because I did not even know if an MBA could be an option for me. I was an older applicant at the time and was considering all options: full time, part time, EMBA. Jeremy never pushed me to one or the other but armed me with the information to make my choice. In the end, I found an EMBA program that was a perfect fit for my career and for my family business. I appreciated that he took a lot of time with me to help me make the right decision. He was frank about what to expect from an EMBA program and even advised me about how to manage the program itself to get the most out of it. I thought that this went above and beyond. I was truly only expecting help with the application itself. In this respect, Jeremy was excellent. I hadn’t constructed a resume in years and he made my resume sparkle. I hadn’t written an essay in years and he brought out my personality and achievements. I hadn’t gotten a recommendation and didn’t know where to turn, but we found creative solutions to this problem. I hadn’t interviewed, but I was ready. I got into my first choice of EMBA program. it made a huge difference in my career and the fate of our business. I have recommended Jeremy and mbaMission to anyone who says “MBA.” It is a prudent investment.
Bottom line: Jeremy’s intuition about compelling storytelling, drive to get down to business, and clear personal attachment to my success was my secret admissions weapon this year. His focused, deliberate approach put me in as strong a position to succeed as I can have imagined. Consider him a friend, confidant, and someone I’ll always be grateful to for helping me find direction and zero in on my own story as I transition careers.
I connected with MBAMission in late June 2018 before submitting applications with early September deadlines. I would be in a far-off land with limited free time and intermittent ability to communicate during July and August, so was looking for direction to keep me on task. Jeremy was still able to effectively, before and during this travel, keep me on track and guide my un-focused understanding of my own experiences and last-minute GRE prep. He struck the perfect balance between humble and assertive, respecting elements of my story I felt strongly about while ensuring I stayed on message about the compelling aspects of my package.
I attribute to him effective enough focus in my written materials such that I was invited to interview with HBS Round 1 and admitted to Northwestern’s JD/MBA, UVA Darden, and Cornell Johnson (the four MBA programs I applied to). While Jeremy’s experience and expertise spoke for themselves to me, he was able to predict several fairly specific lines of questioning in my HBS interview. Through draft after draft of essays, he forced me to develop deep enough understanding of my target programs such that I was confident in interviews to speak to it.
Will continue to enthusiastically refer prospective clients to work with Jeremy – I count the decision to work with him as one of the smartest investments I’ve ever made.
I have used Jeremy’s services myself and have recommended him to my GMAT students.
Jeremy used his experience and insight to help me craft my story (not create an inauthentic story) that would best resonate with my target school. He asks relevant and helpful questions that assisted me in the creation of my application. He has seemingly unlimited interest and enthusiasm about his work, which is helping you tell your message to get into school.
The students that I have referred to Jeremy only have positive things to say about him.
It’s at the very least worth a free consultation with him!
These guys helped me with my application to grad school at Columbia. It was a roll-up-your-sleeves, get in the weeds kind of approach and was truly impactful in my ability to complete the assignments and get accepted. Rather than doing the work for me, they enabled me to think deeply about my journey, and bring my best self to the writing, editing and submission process. Their coaching was really invaluable and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.
I applied to MBA programs in 2008, without the assistance of Jeremy and mbaMission, and did not even get interviews at any of my target schools. I applied again in 2009, and what a world of difference! I was admitted to two of the three schools to which I applied. Jeremy and mbaMission are clearly the experts in MBA admissions consulting, and they were invaluable at every stage of the process. He and mbaMission are like having an expert caddie with you on the golf course. They know the admissions landscape, all the school processes, the tricks and nuances and how to make sure an applicant presents him or herself as well as possible in applications and interviews. Additionally, Jeremy was always very responsive and very honest. His counsel and guidance were invaluable. Plus, he is an incredibly nice person, and someone to whom I would strongly encourage anyone thinking about applying to a top MBA program talk!
A few years ago, I chose another consultant over mbaMission and didn’t get anywhere. Last year, by overwhelming recommendation, I decided to work with Jeremy on my EMBA application. At the time, I had my doubts because being a business owner myself, I wasn’t sure if two Type A personality working together was a good idea. Those doubts quickly faded away when the work started. J always scheduled calls with me that accommodated my ever changing time zone and during each call, he not only listened but also extracted the essence of my stories which helped the application writing process tremendously. I’m full of stories but I am possibly the worst person alive at telling my own stories. After countless calls and email exchanges, J helped me craft a number of compelling applications that resulted in multiple acceptance from M7 school. One of which even called me personally before decision deadline to deliver the congratulatory news and shared with me how much she enjoyed reading my application and my stories. Now I have to write on my own again without first an edit by J, it feels weird.
Jeremy is truly world class and without doubt a game changer in the world of MBA admissions consulting. He helped me think through my early brainstorms for my application to Stanford GSB, the only school I applied to, and I give him tremendous credit for helping me gain admission by telling my story the most authentic way possible. I would strongly advise you work with Jeremy.
I give my highest possible recommendation to Jeremy Shinewald of mbaMission. Jeremy has deep, well-researched insights on every business school I had expressed interest in exploring. His institutional knowledge of every program served as an invaluable sounding-board as I honed my list of schools that I applied to.
Jeremy is also undoubtedly a genius marketer. After performing his procedural forensic of my work and personal experiences, he helped identify my meaningful experiences that were particularly important to highlight in my applications. He not only enabled me to craft my personal story in well-thought-out manner, but he also helped me create a more profound and intellectually stimulating essay. His experience as a senior speech writer for politicians was also a tremendous benefit, as he helped me shape my essays with greater clarity (and word limit precision).
I am not one who compliments easily but Jeremy’s efforts and teamwork made all the difference. I did not score particularly well on my GMAT and knew from the outset that my essays and applications would make the difference. I ultimately received offers to attend several of the top 10 MBA programs and certainly feel my success was in large part due to Jeremy’s guidance and unrelenting commitment. He is also a pleasure to work with and now consider him a close friend.
So appreciative of Jeremy for helping me get into my dream school, Harvard. His experience and passion for admissions were truly unique, and he provided a personalized and tailored approach. I am so grateful to Jeremy and the entire mbaMission team.
Jeremy Shinewald is an absolute game changer for anyone aspiring to get an MBA from a top school. Jeremy’s time is split between his many clients and running (in my opinion) the best admissions consultation company out there. But if no one had told me that, I would have thought I was his only responsibility.
His attention to detail is unlike anything I’ve seen, and he will cut to the core of what makes you an interesting person and a strong candidate. He will help you sort through your experiences, and will not only help you identify the key points that will make you stand out to the admissions committee, he will help you create an application that does them justice. Beyond that, he will make sure your writing is clear, concise and precise. Jeremy wants you to create an application that means something to you, and by the end of your time with Jeremy, you will have made a friend that you will likely remain in touch with even after you’ve been admitted.
His expertise is right for any situation you’re facing, whether you think you’re a strong candidate but want to maximize your chances of creating a strong application, or you’re in a panic and you have a few weeks to put something together.
He charges a premium on his services, and if you’re reading this review it is likely because you’re asking yourself whether or not Jeremy is truly worth the extra money. Let me put it this way: If I had gotten rejected from all of the schools I applied to, I would pay the same amount and try again with Jeremy next year. (I actually ended up getting into my top choice – HBS). It truly does not get better than Jeremy, he is worth more than what he charges.
After not getting into my top schools, I worked with Jeremy on a ‘ding review’ where he looked over my application and walked me through how I could’ve improved it. Having worked with other consultants before, I found this experience to be by far the most insightful conversation I’ve had in regards to my application. I’m left kicking myself at not having used Jeremy before but I will certainly do so as I continue to pursue an MBA path. What sets Jeremy apart is his knack for finding the human element behind the application and painting a picture so that human element shines its brightest.
mbaMission was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the MBA application. Education in an investment and mbaMission was part of that investment; it was well worth it. The GMAT and MBA application process can be overwhelming but I received personalized feedback from very qualified consultants. The individualized support helped me focus my attention in the right direction and highlight my strengths to achieve my ultimate goal -acceptance into one of the top MBA programs in Canada- MBA, Class of 2018!
I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for Jeremy and the whole mbaMission team. Jeremy was so EXTREMELY helpful in guiding me through my graduate school application process and was so reassuring that I would hit my deadlines. He instilled confidence in my writing ability and helped me produce my strongest work while also being my biggest supporter. I truly could not have applied without his expertise, insight and judgment. Jeremy not only helped me narrate my personal story and experiences, but also portray my strengths and skillset. He had incredible insight and guidance when structuring my thoughts in the most concise, creative, professional and affluent manner.
Additionally, he was especially responsive and accommodating to my schedule and learning needs. Jeremy is a genuine, caring and positive person who deeply wants to help others become successful with their gradate school endeavors. He is amazing and what he does and I will forever be grateful for his services and encouragement in this next step of my professional journey.
I have nothing but the best to say about my experience working with Jeremy. Even when my core consultant was John Sisk (also at mbaMission), Jeremy offered his time and expertise generously over a period of several months across application rounds. His acumen around the attitudes and specifications of each and every MBA program is unmatched, and every piece of advice he gives is delivered candidly and tactfully. And even when I lived far away, he made himself available via phone flexibly and on short notice. If you’re looking for a consultant who knows the programs inside and out, and one who shows 110% genuine care about you as both an MBA candidate and as a person, Jeremy is the guy for you. Thanks Jeremy!
I came across Jeremy after speaking to numerous consultants, and Jeremy stood out as he truly cared and caught up with me again after touching base. What Jeremy offers is a very direct and clear approach to the whole MBA game, that is helping you to clearly articulate your goals and aspirations. Without sugarcoating, Jeremy offered very candid assessment and advice. Clearly fighting for my cause, Jeremy helped me “stand straight” and differentiated from the rest of the crowd. Thanks to Jeremy, I have been admitted to my dream M7 school and I could not have done it without Jeremy.
I was referred to Jeremy by my GMAT tutor as well as by multiple friends and relatives who had great success with Jeremy and were admitted to T5 MBA programs. The common theme when speaking to every single referral was that Jeremy is a magician and each individual credited Jeremy’s inquisitiveness, work ethic, honesty, and patience as a major reason why they were admitted to their respective programs. I must admit that hearing those recommendations set the bar high, but I was not disappointed! Jeremy was extremely understanding and hit the ground running since we only had 4 weeks before the application deadline. Jeremy was able to help me tell my story in a way that not only got me admitted to my top choice, but in a way that made me feel proud of my previous accomplishments and excited for my future. When my apps were submitted, Jeremy continued to push the process forward, prepping me for my interview and being a sounding board for my anxiety throughout the wait for acceptance at my T5 choice. I unequivocally recommend working with Jeremy! If you are willing to work as hard as Jeremy does, you will be admitted to your dream school as well!
A Lifetime of Difference:
As Jeremy Shinewald’s first client, I now have many years to look back on his impact on me. I applied to several schools on my own, some of which were unranked, and failed to get in. I really just did not have the proper guidance to apply appropriately. When I brought my applications to Jeremy, he pointed out missed opportunities in various places. I was showing a narrow view of who I was and my skill set. Upon discussing it with Jeremy, I changed my approach and started over with him. I applied to only one school with Jeremy and he worked with me through a long waitlist process. In the end, I was the last person admitted to Chicago GSB that year (before it was Chicago Booth). After Chicago, the doors opened at a top i-bank and then I entered the world of hedge funds. I consider myself very lucky to have had this outcome. Needless to say, it would not have been possible without Jeremy who was the creative “well” I needed and the supportive coach and friend that made a stressful process far more fun. I have since recommended him to many friends, including trusting him with a very close friend who got into several top European schools and also continues to thrive. I can’t say enough…
I was introduced to Jeremy through an acquaintance who used him for MBA applications. My daughter needed assistance with her college application essays and I asked if Jeremy would work with her. He was upfront in stating that he was an MBA admissions expert and that college application essays were not his area of specialization. However, my daughter was immediately comfortable working with Jeremy and asked if he would provide advice to her. Jeremy agreed to take this and was a valuable resource for her as well as a source of confidence. The experience of working with Jeremy was very positive for her and the outcome was successful.
I applied to HBS twice. The first time I didn’t use Jeremy and the second time I did. Needless to say, Jeremy was the key difference in my second application. Jeremy was very focused on letting the real me shine through my application. He did not focus on perfecting my story but rather a true genuine telling of who I am and what motivates me. Jeremy was extremely approachable. I was comfortable asking him absolutely any question. His answers were to the point and clearly from a perspective of experience. In my first application, I utilized the services of the HBS guru. He was difficult to work with and ultimately pushed me to write an application that in no way reflected my character. As mentioned, Jeremy is very focused on highlighting your authentic self – this is what HBS is looking for. Jeremy also provided a mock interview that was very helpful. I did not have to over prepare for the interview because again, Jeremy had me focus on authenticity. What’s easier than being yourself? I have Jeremy to thank my admission to HBS.
I was in the process of making a difficult decision: I had practiced law for 6 years but knew this wasn’t my path. I wanted to refocus my career and basically start fresh, but I didn’t really know how to start the journey and in which direction I should go. Thankfully a friend pointed me to Jeremy Shinewald who was my guide on this journey. He counseled me on which schools I should be applying to. He helped me craft my story and he gave me the advice and direction I needed. I found his rates competitive with other consultants, but more importantly I felt that I was getting good value. Here was an expert who was available for me, fought for me and brought out the best in me. Jeremy Shinewald was worth every penny.
I decided to apply to business school very “late in the game” mid-last summer, with no GMAT score and little direction on how to structure myself as an applicant…but I knew I only wanted to go to a top school. Come in Jeremy Shinewald, who I have since dubbed “half friend, half my MBA consultant” after sticking with me over the past 8 months.
Considering I only finished my GMAT in December and applications were due January 3rd; Jeremy was part of the process through the ups and downs of not hitting the GMAT score we needed, to re-editing application essays (50+ times as the application story evolved) to finally being admitted to my top pick, Wharton.
Not only would I not have been able to apply this year as I was so originally “lost” in the process, I most certainly would not have been able to gain admission to a school like Wharton without Jeremy. He was dedicated and committed, talking me through the process always and was on call. He went above and beyond any consultants “job” – he took my application to heart and took my success personally.
Jeremy is the founder of MBAmission and manages a team of 20+ MBA consultants – the value of his access to this team (he brought in others on the team when needed) and his personal depth of knowledge is incalculable. I never felt like I was his second priority to his firm. In fact, I felt like I was his main priority throughout. I truly can’t emphasize his responsiveness enough. It was clear that he cares very deeply for every client, as the founder of the firm and gets the micro right, letting the macro take care of itself.
When an MBA cost are high and the opportunity cost sometimes even higher, working with a company such as Jeremy’s MBAmission is a no brainer in my book. Presenting yourself as the strongest applicant and bettering your chances to a top school is a long term investment I would make any day. I could not recommend Jeremy more.
I had the unique opportunity to work closely with Jeremy on my entire application, and his ability to pay attention to detail while also focusing on the big picture fabric of my application and its message was incredible. But beyond his skillset and abilities, what struck me most from working with Jeremy is just how much he truly, genuinely cared about how my application came together and how important it was for him that my story was conveyed in the most appropriate, and honest way possible. Jeremy truly cares. He is dedicated well beyond his rates and responsibilities to see that each and every client feels like he or she has delivered his or her best foot forward – and in today’s world, that is a rare treasure. I’m proud to have been admitted to my first choice, Stanford GSB, and will be attending this fall.
If you are looking for the absolute best MBA consultant out there, do not look further than Jeremy. From the initial draft, to interview prep, to decision day my experience working with Jeremy was an absolute pleasure and completely seamless. From the “kick-off” call, you can quickly distinguish the knowledge Jeremy has in all things MBA, the ample experience and school insight that he’ll use to help you get wherever it is you want to go and more importantly the willingness to understand what makes you unique as an MBA applicant. You’ll rapidly see that the extra dollars you are spending to work with Jeremy are worth it given his extraordinary attention to detail, his dedication to making you feel like his only client and his proneness to think outside the box and adapt his knowledge to your story rather than force your application into a traditional mold. You truly will get the best MBA advisor out there and you’ll get to closely interact with a great guy who will most likely become a friend. Even though Jeremy has his own MBA Advisory company, you will not only get the best one-on-one, around-the-clock personalized help out there but also great support on choosing schools that will be the best fit for YOU and your goals. Jeremy was on top of every single aspect of my story and constantly came up with ideas on how to improve my application. Contrary to some other consultants, he encouraged me to apply to any school I wanted to and I didn’t get the sense that he was worried about his overall “batting average”, he just wanted to help me get into my top choice. What makes Jeremy the best is his dedication to your story personally and how he will dive deep into your life and your story and help you craft it into the best application possible. With Jeremy’s help, I got into TWO top-5 schools and will attend my dream school next fall.
I used Jeremy to apply to 5 programs and was extremely happy with the service i received throughout the entire process. Beyond Jeremy’s professionalism, what impressed me most was his responsiveness and his ability to guide me throughout my essay writing and help me best convey my personality despite not having met me in person even once. Jeremy took the time to understand “my story” and by the end of the process, I truly felt like Jeremy had been a friend of mine for years. It felt like Jeremy was just as invested as I was which made the process that much easier. Jeremy helped me create a timeline in which I could effectively manage my time and submit my applications to each school, which helped alleviate any stress about getting my applications in on time. Jeremy’s intimate knowledge of the school’s programs helped me cater my essays to more of what they’re looking for and I can say with certainty that I would have gone a completely different direction without his guidance. Finally, I appreciated that Jeremy was blunt and realistic and helped set proper expectations. Moreover, Jeremy is just a genuine and good guy. These factors made him easy to trust and it ultimately helped position my essays to be as good as they possibly could have been. Jeremy made himself extremely available, from essay writing to interview prep, and undoubtedly added value in every step along the way. I got admitted to 2 of the schools I applied to. I could not have asked for a better consultant.
Jeremy is an outstanding consultant. He’s thoughtful, razor-sharp, and most of all, honest. I’m a re-applicant. I applied for 2017 intake to three top business schools, and got no interviews. One year later, with Jeremy’s continued guidance, I applied to four top business schools and was admitted to three, including Harvard and Stanford. If this wasn’t enough, I also received significant five-figure fellowship offers from both HBS and the GSB, which greatly exceeded my investment with mbaMission. Now that’s ROI. Jeremy is not cheap; yet he’s still under priced. I wholehearted recommend Jeremy for candidates who want a thought-partner throughout the application, and need an edge to get into the top schools. He helped at every step: from our 20+ page brainstorming document, through to scholarship applications, and everything in between. Of note, Jeremy is particularly gifted at distilling big ideas into dense, “speedy English”. With each draft of my application, I saw significant improvement. I’ve referred my closest friends and colleagues to Jeremy, and they too now see why I won’t stop singing Jeremy’s praises.
