Consultant Bio

Lawrence is a passionate mentor and coach with five years of experience advising students and applicants. He has an open and encouraging style but will give it to you “straight up”. As an empathetic listener, he is skilled at helping applicants connect the dots across their diverse experiences and develop compelling stories that come to life for admissions committees.

Lawrence began his career in management consulting, where he advised fintechs on new product development and startups on go-to-market strategy. He has also worked at tech companies like Intuit and Electronic Arts. His diverse experience enables him to provide informed guidance to clients of all professional backgrounds.

Lawrence earned a BA in Economics and BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton, as well as an MBA and MA in Design Innovation from Kellogg and Northwestern. At Penn, he was involved in Wharton Leadership Ventures, where he led outdoor expeditions to Machu Picchu and the Grand Tetons to coach peers on real-world leadership skills. At Kellogg, he was a dancer on the Groupwerk dance team, podcaster on the Innovation and Design club, and Ambassador with the Latin America club.

When he is not with his clients, Lawrence enjoys traveling to locations where he can surf, dive, and dance salsa.
