Hi, I’m Louise. As a storyteller, I’m fascinated by the power of narrative to uplift others and ourselves. At MBA Protocol, my goal is to help students find their authentic voice and express their truth. I’ve studied writing and storytelling for the past seven years as a comedian and screenwriter, and continue to build my narrative toolkit as a student in the UCLA Writers Extension program. Leveraging my theater and improv training from the Second City Conservatory, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and iO Theater, I enjoy coaching students on how to build presence and audience connection to ace their interviews with confidence and an amazing smile.
Before joining MBA Protocol, I was a practicing attorney licensed in Illinois and New York. My legal experience comes in handy when helping students plan school strategies and negotiate scholarship offers. I also studied History at Vassar College and the University of Cambridge. The most wonderful thing about having a historian’s training and perspective is being able to help my students discover the overarching themes in their lives that best showcases the evolution of their genuine character and strong values over time. My goal for our work together is to help you not only communicate your goals and dreams more brilliantly, but also look back upon your life with a sense of joy and achievement.
At MBA Protocol, we believe that creating a life of meaning, impact, and fulfillment is the only outcome that justifies the significant investment of time & money required to earn your MBA. We also know that to be truly sustainable, your MBA must align with your post-MBA career goals and that many of you are wondering about the return on your investment.
When you’re thinking about ROI, we urge you to think about total return. Think pay plus purpose.
Your individual path to purpose will be unique; no two will be alike. But the most successful MBA journeys require these three things: deep personal reflection, values definition, and communication skill-building. And, yes, that begins in the application process.
All our programs at MBA Protocol are designed to help you gain breakthrough MBA admissions results and prepare in advance for MBA recruiting. Only by beginning with the end in mind can you truly maximize the ROI in both increased earnings and joy and fulfillment throughout your post-MBA career.
We guide you with five key principles:
• 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲: Uncover and share your unique story to connect authentically with admissions committees.
• 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸: Get candid, compassionate insights that respect your individuality and help you excel.
• 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵-𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱: Develop lifelong skills in self-awareness, communication, and relationships for lasting success.

I went from “I have no chance of getting into an MBA program” to multiple M7 and Top 10 MBA acceptances with scholarship in the span of 6 months. I couldn’t have done it without Louise!
I’d been thinking about applying to MBA programs for years but the time was “never right” or “I wasn’t ready yet.” So, when I finally decided this was the year, I was sure I would be able to navigate the process myself given all the research I’d done, and didn’t consider hiring a coach. But at the suggestion of a friend, I utilized Career Protocol’s free 30-minute consultation, and was lucky enough to be matched with Louise. What a game-changer for me.
Going into the meeting, I brought with me everything I’d internalized about my chances for MBA success: I needed to be someone who just wanted to make a lot of money in the corporate world, I was probably too old or too “non-traditional” to get in, I didn’t have any family members who got an MBA so I probably wasn’t cut out for it, etc. But Louise made me feel seen and valued for who I was and made me excited about how an MBA could help me work toward MY OWN goals and values, even if they weren’t like everyone else’s. I decided to work with her and could not be happier with how our time together unfolded: Louise truly changed my life for the better. She taught me that the MBA is at its core a leadership degree, and there is power in digging deep, telling your story, and using that life-long skill in pursuit of the change you want to make in the world.
Every step of the way, Louise helped me stay on track with tight timelines and progress, all the while guiding me with an encouraging spirit that always brought me back on top of all my doubts to a place where I felt truly excited and capable about going after my MBA goals. She is a wonderful listener and was always able to highlight the wisdom in my ideas, helping me to trust that all that I needed to succeed was already available to me. I still have some of her words of encouragement written on an index card that helped me go into interviews with confidence and humility. It’s no exaggeration to say that Louise is one of the kindest, calmest, realest, and most caring people I have ever met, and I am so much better off for having worked with her.
I have three pieces of advice for anyone starting out on their MBA journey: 1) TRUST YOURSELF. Whatever story and goal resonates for you, no matter how traditional or non-traditional, just stick with it and be confident that you have value to add, 2) Don’t let everything you read or hear about MBA admissions make you think you aren’t capable of landing an awesome offer, and 3) if you can find a way to afford it, please, please, please work with Career Protocol and Louise. I promise you will become a better version of yourself and the ripple effect of that will extend FAR beyond your MBA acceptance. Good luck!!
I worked with Louise in 2023-24 cycle and received admits from Wharton and CBS. She has a fantastic process where she: (I) helps you identify your personal highlights ie stories which shaped your life (ii) Gives you a primer on the nuances each school tries to evaluate (iii) (part which I loved the most) “nudges” you to tie up your personal journey and motivation for each school (iv) Solicits feedback from CP team to ensure the best output. The way she nudges you to improve your story is through “questions” rather than opinions which help you to think through and “feel” your story as it develops. Apart from the success with admits, I’d credit her with helping me become a better story teller.
Having Louise by my side through my MBA application journey was a game changer. Applying to business school is no doubt a stressful and emotional process, but my experience with Louise kept me motivated and gave me so much happiness which made the application process so much fun. Louise helped me think deeper to understand my values and how I’ve gotten to where I am in life, and she helped me turn this into an authentic story. The entire Career Protocol team is carefully curated, but Louise has a special talent for story telling which was important for me applying as a private equity candidate. The introspective and deeply personal process was quite therapeutic, and in addition to helping me craft my story for MBA applications, Louise also felt like a career coach. I came out of the process with more clarity about myself and a better understanding of my ‘why’ which will help me in business school, during interviews, and as a professional.
Overall, the experience with Louise was super rewarding. She is genuine, flexible, and caring (quite different than some of the other daunting and transactional consultants I dilligenced). Excited to transfer all of the story telling skills I gained when I attend Wharton!
Embarking on the journey of applying to business school can feel overwhelming, particularly when balancing a hectic schedule and applying slightly later than ideal. Fortunately, I discovered Career Protocol, and even more fortunately, I was paired with Louise. Working with her during the MBA application process was a game-changer. Louise offered a personalized approach that aligned perfectly with my needs; she set tailored deadlines, accommodated my busy schedule for reviews and meetings, and more.
Louise’s guidance was invaluable. She honed in on what truly mattered to the Admissions Committee, providing me with crucial advice on where to direct my focus. She didn’t shy away from pointing out areas of weakness in my application, instead, she helped me strengthen them before hitting ‘submit’. Thanks to her support, I not only secured a spot in my top-choice MBA program but also earned a generous scholarship.
Beyond the tangible outcomes, working with Louise was a journey of self-discovery. She helped me gain deeper insights into myself and pinpoint areas for personal growth. I am immensely grateful for her expertise and mentorship throughout this transformative process
Coming into the MBA process, I was leaning toward working with a consultant but wasn’t really sure about the concept. I was introduced to Career Protocol through Forte and really resonated with their mission to make sure their clients were able to show admissions committees their authentic self. Whereas other companies used fear as a motivator during the admissions process and encouraged applicants to show that they checked a box, in my intro call with Louise, I felt that she really wanted to get to know me as a person and help me spotlight the unique value I would bring to the table. Throughout the process, Louise was kind and optimistic but also wasn’t afraid to push me to show more of myself through my application. This push made my applications so much richer, and I was really proud of how they turned out. I don’t know if I would have been able to get to that point without her guidance.
Louise is undoubtedly the best MBA consultant for you if you’re aiming to infuse your application with originality and sincerity. Beyond the fantastic stories you’ll craft together, you’ll benefit from her support every step of the way. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Louise; speaking with her was therapeutic and incredibly helpful throughout my MBA application journey. Louise is patient, amiable, and compassionate. Her guidance was instrumental in my acceptance to HBS and Wharton, accompanied by generous scholarships. For all of this, my deepest thanks to you, Louise!
My decision to apply to business school was quite late in the game. While I could have hastily thrown together applications on my own, I know I would have achieved nowhere near the success I did without Louise’s storytelling mastery and support! From our first conversation, Louise was clearly committed to understanding my story and perspective and helping me convey those in my applications. At points when I didn’t feel my essays properly captured my ideas, she helped me brainstorm and reframe my narratives so that I felt they truly reflected me. Given my abbreviated timeline, I appreciated Louise’s responsiveness in providing feedback and her willingness to work through any challenges as they arose. While no one can fully alleviate the stress of applying to business school, Louise’s honesty, wisdom, and calm demeanor significantly helped. I am now in the incredibly fortunate position to be deciding between several M7 offers with significant scholarship on the table. While I recognize the investment in Career Protocol (or any MBA consultant) is significant, I believe it paid for itself in the multiple scholarship offers I received by telling my authentic story. I have so much gratitude to Louise for helping me achieve my goal!
Wow, what a fantastic and rewarding experience with Louise. I found Louise from the Forte Foundation. After reading about her supportive style and holistic approach to approaching MBA applications, I was intrigued. After an intro call, it solidified that working with Louise would give me exactly what I was looking for: to unlock critical themes from my career and life to help me grow through the MBA application process. I was overwhelmed by the process of applying but Louise was great about breaking things down into smaller steps and encouraged me along the way. By the end of the process, I truly felt I submitted my best work that fully represented who I was and can confidently say I grew because of it.
I’m so happy I worked with Louise to discover the deeper themes of my life and career. I couldn’t imagine going through the entire application process without her! For anyone starting who feels like they are struggling to share their best self with MBA programs, definitely consider working with Louise and Career Protocol.
I first found Career Protocol and Louise looking for a consultant who would go above and beyond helping me in my applications. I certainly found that! Louise emphasized how identifying what motivated and defined me, and then showing that authentic self, would make for a truly strong application. Then we tirelessly revised my essays until they reflected that. I really appreciated that she was willing to do many revisions so that my applications were as strong as possible. I also appreciated what an empathetic listener she was! In they end, I got into HBS. This was my dream school and she helped me achieve this dream! To future applicants, I’d tell you that you can do it, and don’t be afraid to get help on your applications—especially with Louise.
I think if Louise were a royal, in a hundred years she’d be crowned Louise the Supporter, first of her name. When first considering using an MBA consultant, I was hesitant. I didn’t understand why their services were “needed”. I came across Career Protocol (CP) via Forte. I was immediately impressed and hooked by Angela, founder of CP. At first, I was unsure I believed the “authentic” pitch, as the colorful style isn’t mine. Still, I was intrigued and decided to have an intro call with Angela. She recommended Louise for me, and I had an intro call with Louise before committing to CP. After my call with Louise, I knew she was right for me. She is a kind and incredible listener. She is a fierce supporter of others dreams. She makes everyone feel welcome and loves to hear what makes someone come alive or what they’re passionate about. I enjoyed working with Louise because I needed a consultant to help me bring out my story and help me better understand myself. One of Louise’s best skills is her ability to see the best of people and to bring this out of them in their application. I recognize that the cost may be prohibitive to many, and for that I am grateful I could afford to work with Louise. If you are on the edge, and think you can afford it, I would highly recommend it!
If you’re someone who wants to bring their authentic self to the admissions process, share your story in a heartfelt way, and have a therapist and cheerleader by your side who won’t judge you and will encourage you to give it your all, Louise is the consultant for you.
Working with Louise, I never felt like I could be anything short of my authentic self. My story and my whys were enough – she helped me shape them into a concise story that reflected my passion. As a deferred candidate, I knew that getting into any school would be extremely difficult. Louise helped me get into 2 of the 3 schools I applied to; Kellogg and HBS. In fact, during the process, when I told her HBS was my dream school, she went the extra mile working with me, encouraging me to dig deep and tell my story until I created an essay 12 drafts later that I felt confident with and was truly proud of. She is also incredible when preparing for interviews – spending as much time as you need to truly feel confident and prepared. I can confidently say Louise was pivotal in my success – I wouldn’t have been able to articulate my story or share my achievements in the concise and authentic way I did without her help and support.
Louise is honest, and will tell you like it is if she knows you’re capable of more than you’re giving to the process. She’ll also appreciate your hard work every step along the way and remind you of your strengths. It is so important to have that during the challenging and uncertain admissions process. She made me feel confident in my story and my qualities while encouraging honest and thorough work. She never lost energy while working with me, and when I would articulate concerns, worries, or fears, she would patiently work them out, getting to the root cause and helping me find a solution (literally the best therapist you can ask for).
Working with her, you can also learn a lot about the storytelling process, how to be a dedicated mentor, and the power of listening. She knew my story as well as I did which was incredibly helpful while she guided me to answering my next “why” or “how” questions.
I can confidently say Louise was pivotal in my admissions successes, and she helped me see qualities, traits, and facets of my own story which I wouldn’t have without her helping me reflect and verbalize those. If you work with her, she’ll help you share your story in the most authentic way possible, and I PROMISE you won’t regret it because you WILL see results.
Louise kept me on track and helped me submit the applications of my dreams. I say that specifically because she worked so diligently to get to know my dreams – my hopes for my future, the impact I want to leave, and the legacy I am starting to build by obtaining my MBA. Despite some roadblocks along the way (I experienced a strong case of COVID and then spent some time grieving the loss of a coworker), Louise led with empathy to help me stay positive and focused to submit my applications. She took the time to get to know me and made sure I focused on the North Star of my authentic self every step through the process. When it came to essay writing, she helped me look beyond my tunnel vision to see a broader picture that I could paint by helping the schools know me through the stories of my past and how they will lead to my future. I was admitted to 3 out of the 4 schools with generous scholarships. While I potentially could have gotten into the schools on my own, I can say with confidence that there’s no way that I would have been awarded over 250K in scholarships without Louise’s guidance. Louise was there to support me through the most difficult part of the process – making the tough choice between multiple phenomenal offers. Like Mufasa from the Lion King, she guided me through remembering who I am to choose the school that will bring me closer to my dreams and bring me joy through the journey. Louise is my MBA angel without a doubt.
Working with Louise has been such a rewarding experience. She has pushed me to be true to my passion and aspiration instead of trying to put me into a certain/specific “MBA profile” of what the schools might be looking for. She has been genuine in believing in me, despite my weaknesses in several areas (e.g. standardized tests). She has been my #1 cheerleader throughout the process. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a kind-hearted consultant who will ensure your application process is stress-free!
Applying to business school is riddled with fees and extra costs, from application fees to GMAT testing and prep fees. I’m someone who tries to do everything on my own before spending any money. I will tell you though that working with Louise was worth every penny.
Coming from a nontraditional background, my main concern when crafting MBA applications was that I did not know what top business schools were looking for. I needed someone with the technical experience to highlight how to connect the dots and frame aspects of my application. When I was assigned to Louise through Career Protocol, I was initially worried that her not having an MBA wouldn’t meet my consulting needs. However, I was dead wrong. Louise brought a technical experience that cut out all the mystery of business school applications and had the storytelling skills to help me frame my journey.
I worked with Louise on 6 applications for roughly 8 months. Those applications were daunting and draining, but Louise made the entire process fun and light. On every call we had, she brought a reassuring, optimistic attitude. She was very intentional and open to ensuring my voice and story radiated through my application. She was strategic with which stories she recommended highlighting to ensure my full self was captured in the application. By the time I submitted those 6 applications, I felt that even if I were rejected, the school would be rejecting my best self and I would be okay with that. Thanks to Louise I got into 4 of my 6 schools with partial to full scholarships (and even a living stipend)!
Among dozens of MBA consulting firms out there, Career Protocol shined the brightest to me at first sight – their philosophy and genuine care about the uniqueness of applicants rather than the stats alone made me choose them right away without any hesitation.
The day I met Louise changed everything! Being an international applicant without a decent GMAT score didn’t feel great from the start. Besides, at that time I was very late in my application process and had only 40 days to build the whole application package from scratch for 3 schools. Louise became a navigational star for me in a such complicated process so that my overwhelming stress and anxiety were fully replaced by excitement and hope after the first week of working together. At that point, I knew I was in good hands and could fully trust her throughout the process.
Louise was always supportive, thoughtful, patient, fun, and incredibly fast at responding to my emails, answering any questions, and providing her feedback on my essay drafts. She got my back 24/7 – I don’t think I could ever thank her enough for that given my time-sensitive situation. Louise was the only person who could get me back on track whenever I felt so down and discouraged to keep going forward. She inspired confidence and helped me unleash my potential, embrace my individuality and authenticity, and, most importantly, express my best self in my MBA applications.
I owe a lot of my success to an absolute superstar Louise! I couldn’t have gone that far without the perfect combination of her invaluable help, endless support, shared energy, and positive attitude that was the key to everything. I highly recommend working with Louise to anyone who is serious about going to b-school as well as wants to go beyond the current limits and aim higher.
My only advice here: start working on your applications earlier for your own peace of mind and don’t forget to have fun on your MBA journey!
Louise is the best storyteller and a supporter of your MBA application journey. I can tell you why below:
I was very skeptical when I first chatted with Career Protocol founder Angela Guido for a 30-minute consultation. (The main reason for my skepticism was that I already had about ten consulting firms that told me that my profile is not near to any of the “Top” MBA programs”) After the consultation, Angela introduced me to Louise, as Angela thought Louise would be the best fit for me. After the first chat and introductory zoom call with her, I was drawn to Louise’s energy and encouragement.
One of the fantastic and unique things about the Career Protocol’s approach to the MBA application is the discovery process (and Louise was serious about this process). The process was strenuous and stressful as I had to look back at my entire personal and professional life and figure out what I needed.
Louise helped me thoroughly with this process and I was extremely grateful for her support whenever I felt overwhelmed with all the required essays and introspections I had to do during the process.
With her amazing storytelling skills and support, I was admitted to many of the top programs namely: Stanford GSB, Wharton, Kellogg, MIT Sloan, and Yale SOM (combined scholarship worth over $350,000)!
Louise is one of the most decent and empathetic human beings that I have encountered. She brought out the best version of myself. I can proudly say that I have unlearned, relearned, and am still learning the act and power of storytelling.
Before signing up with Career Protocol, I promised myself that I was going to have fun during my MBA journey. Meeting Louise was the highlight. She made that dream come true. Not only did she become my MBA problem solver (recommending GMAT/GRE tutors), she became a trusted friend. She went through my essays like an admission committee would and made genuine comments… Oh, and if a paragraph does not make sense, she will smell it a mile away!
One thing Louise could not do was letting me fail. I had so many challenges while working on my MBA application, but she never let me dwell in my failures or my past. I couldn’t ask for a better MBA therapist. I will never forget how she provided me with additional service worth thousands of dollars for free when I needed it.
After working with Louise, I could not be prouder of the way I present myself during interviews and semi-formal settings.
Louise is hands down one of the most creative and joyful individuals I have met. When I first started the process, I was so overwhelmed and unsure of the process. Louise helped me to solidify my profile by patiently understanding and listening to my stories, and most importantly, she had the ability to uncover a number of unique stories that I never thought were even important. She is a master storyteller! Her creativity and personalized care gave me so much confidence about the application process. Whenever I have any questions, she was always there for me and helped me to brainstorm and strategize. I love that not only she was always excited to learn about my stories and experiences, but also she would push and challenge me to achieve the best results. I am forever grateful for Career Protocol and Louise’s storytelling abilities.
Firstly all the very best to all the prospective applicants. You’re in for a rollercoaster ride. However, I would like to emphasize how working with Louise makes the ride with all its highs and lows, way more enjoyable. Let me elucidate further :
I am from India and before I signed up with Louise I had spoken to more than 10 consultants across the globe. Career Protocol was one of the expensive ones. From my first call itself, I knew in my gut that she was the one I would like to work with. She shows you a newer perspective of looking at your story and helps you own your story and share it beautifully with the adcoms. I had a very different profile which had its own challenges. Not the quintessential IIT background. However, Louise ensured that I never felt demotivated especially when anyone told me that I cannot get into XYZ school. We would have weekly calls where she would help me stay on track and motivate me. I suffered a personal tragedy during my applications and she worked extra on the weekends just so we could give our best shot. From day 0, she considers you and herself a team. She even took extra mock interviews to ensure I had multiple admits. Honestly, I used to look forward to our weekly calls because she is so positive yet a realist!
Today I’ve secured admits from multiple schools – from Top 15 business schools- including an admit to an IVY league and an M7 business school. I give her the major credit for the same.
The only regret I have is that I did not enroll earlier ie in April/ May and waited until June.
Louise is your fairy godmother. Trust her, put in the work, and let the magic happen.
When I first began my MBA journey, I was totally overwhelmed – I didn’t know where to start or how to best tell my story. I was also hesitant about the investment, but Career Protocol is certainly worth every penny! Louise is a masterful storyteller! She helped me distill pages of my personal story into thoughtful and meaningful stories. Louise is truly invested in her clients’ stories: she has fantastic recall and helped me draw connections from seemingly small details in my story that I otherwise would’ve missed. She also helped me reframe what I thought were negatives on my resume into positives – a mindset I’ve now adopted beyond my MBA application journey. Louise won’t settle for average: when I thought I was done with an essay, she challenged me to continue to work through it and helped me rework the essays (and my resume!) until we were both pleased with them (without any draft limit – of which I’m grateful for since it took MANY drafts). Throughout the process, I doubted myself many times (and I certainly did not think I was a T10 candidate – let alone one with scholarships!). But Louise had faith in me the entire time and she’s given me confidence – even beyond the MBA and in my career to tell my story in my most authentic voice. Louise always brings such an infectious and creative energy to her work. Working with her has been an absolute pleasure and I cannot recommend Louise enough!
As a non-traditional candidate, I was very hesitant about applying to business school, not knowing how to frame my story and journey to pursue an MBA. Louise reassured and encouraged me from day 1 that I had a lot to offer. I was nervous that my writing style would come across as dull and uninspired, but with her help, I was able to find more engaging ways to connect through my writing. She was excited to learn about me and my experiences, and her creativity and perspective were invaluable in communicating my values, goals, and dreams. What really stood out to me about working with her was that she knew me so well: she could instantly recall stories, projects, anecdotes, and volunteering experiences to help guide my thought process. That gave me a lot of confidence that she really understood where I was coming from and believed in me. She pushed and challenged me to achieve my best, which I am grateful for. Ultimately I was accepted to 4 schools, all with scholarships, and will be attending Wharton in the fall!
Louise 100% exceeded my expectations as my MBA consultant. When I began the application process, I was nervous about my strength as a candidate given my GRE score and lack of quantitative experience in undergrad/post-grad. She invested so much time and effort to help me craft my story and give me the confidence I needed to put my best foot forward in applications.
I got into my top choice and got interviews at 7/8 schools I applied to (almost ALL of them I identified as reach schools)… NEVER did I think this would be possible! I am forever grateful to Louise and the Career Protocol team for believing in me and caring about my individual experiences and potential. I cannot recommend Louise enough!!!
I knew I would have a tough time when applying to MBA programs due to my super low undergraduate GPA (2.9!!). However, Louise helped me showcase that I was still a very strong candidate and allowed me to gain acceptance to 3/6 programs that I applied to. I also received very generous scholarships at all 3, despite my low GPA. I didn’t expect how much the work I did with Louise would benefit my professional life. She helped me craft the strongest resume I have ever had. I ended up applying for a new job during the MBA application process and got almost a 100% response rate to my new resume. The process Louise led me through in exploring my goals, wins, and learning experiences helped me confidently express myself during the interviews and resulted in several job offers. Even after starting the new job, several coworkers have commented on my ability to communicate concisely but effectively, a skill Louise helped me hone through essay writing. Working with Louise was 100% worth it, not only allowing me to be accepted into my top choice MBA program but also helping me grow stronger professionally. I would recommend Louise to absolutely anyone that wanted to grow their communication skills and practice showcasing their best self through storytelling. Louise’s unconventional experience in comedy and puppeteering are actually her biggest strengths and show you how to create a real connection with the admissions committee. Thank you, Louise!!
I came to Career Protocol late in the application game with very little understanding of the application process. After my initial conversation with Angela, I knew that this consulting company was the right one for me. I had reached out to other consultants as well but got sent away because my scores were not good enough. While these other consultants tried to boast their acceptance rate for their clients, Career Protocol showed that they humanized their clients and truly wanted to work with people they believed in. This faith in me made me truly believe in myself and in investing time and finances with Career Protocol.
Working with my consultant, Louise, was a true pleasure and such an incredible experience. Louise constantly pushed me to dig deep as I began to understand my journey to MBA and how I could cohesively and smartly tell my story. While I find that I am a storyteller, Louise taught me how to truly communicate with MBA programs and tell my story with heart. This was incredibly important as she helped me learn to be mindful of how much of my story to share and find how to frame my story to bring out my most authentic self to show that my values and morals aligned with the values of my dream schools. On a personal note, I found that Louise was always available to chat and she personalized her approach with me as I continued to learn about my authentic self throughout my application process.
At the end of the day, I got into 50% of the schools I applied to and was waitlisted at another one of my reach schools. When I was waitlisted at my dream school, Louise had my back and was on my team and helped me come up with a game plan to ensure that I achieve my goal. I am happy to say that it is because of Career Protocol’s lessons and Louise’s personal and loving touch that I am attending my dream school in the Fall. Thank you Career Protocol, and mostly, thank you, Louise!
When Angela first introduced me the Louise, I knew that she was relatively new to being a consultant in the MBA application prep process. Therefore, I was a little apprehensive. Hiring a consultant is an investment in and of itself so I wanted to make sure that I got to speak to her. Unlike other consultants I had spoken with, Louise came in with a genuine desire to get to know me from the very get-go. Before I had made any sort of a commitment to Career Protocol, she spent the time to get to know me and my story.
It was clear that she really cared about people and their journey in life and I felt very safe with her throughout the process. Telling my story turned into somewhat of a journey and it was very collaborative, non-judgmental, and sometimes cathartic. She helped me see myself from a point of view that uplifted my self-worth and really made me believe in myself. She and I worked together to find a school that really resonated with my personal core values.
Louise was very accessible through the process and while being very understanding, she stayed firm with deadlines to ensure that we remained on track.
When I began my MBA consultant search, I felt as if most only cared about my GRE scores and discouraged me from applying to my dream school. Louise and Angela tried to get to know me as a whole person and I was accepted into my dream school!
Career Protocol boosted my self-confidence and made me chase my dreams. This is something that will stay with me way beyond the MBA application process. Thank you, Louise and Angela, I am a better person for having met you both!
If you want a phenomenal storyteller who also knows exactly how to bring the best stories of your life to light, Louise is your perfect fit. I did a lot of introspection before drafting my application essays, and she did an amazing job in identifying the gems from my past experiences and worked with me tirelessly to bring out my authentic voice in a meaningful and delightful way.
During the essay drafting process, Louise asked important probing questions to tune in to the most vivid, significant details of my stories. She also played the devil’s advocate to read my story from different angles and challenge me to make the story comprehensible, significant and memorable to a broader audience of different backgrounds while maintaining my authentic tone.
I have to admit choosing to work with Louise was a risk I took, because at the time she was quite new to MBA consulting and had a non-traditional background (law, comedy, screenwriting), without an MBA herself. However, I knew what I personally am good at and what complementary skills I needed from an MBA consultant, and she far exceeded my expectations.
Louise and I make a dream team. Her creative mind, tireless work ethic, and kind heart brought so much value and joy to our work together. I got into 2 out of the 3 schools on which we worked together (Harvard Business School and INSEAD). She also provided constructive feedback on other schools I applied to which brought me much more comfort and confidence in turning in those applications. Thank you for your tremendous help, Louise!
Louise was the perfect guide through my MBA applications. Coming from a background that isn’t a common MBA feeder, I was not confident in my writing skills or understanding of what it takes to get into a top MBA program. Louise was instrumental in helping me grow my writing, storytelling, and interviewing skills to allow me to bring my best, fully authentic self to this process. She skillfully pulled out my life experiences and helped me transform them into genuine, inspiring stories. I was able to not only get interviews at every school I applied to, but I got admits to 6/7 schools I applied to. I am still astonished to be able to pick from multiple of the top MBA programs. Ultimately, I was able to get into my dream school, YALE SOM!! I can confidently say that without Louise I wouldn’t be in the same place I am today. If you want a partner to help you transform your life experiences into inspiring stories then you NEED to work with Louise.
