Admission Gateway helped me crack LBS. Mudit helped me connect the dots in my journey to craft a good story. Admission Gateway has wonderful resources like the essay workshops hosted by Rajdeep Chimni that make the whole application process seem much less ambiguous. The team helped me clarify my goals and streamline my resume. The interview workshops helped improve my confidence. I highly recommend AG.
I worked with Mudit Gupta and Gauri Jaswal for the class of 2025 admissions cycle and had fantastic results with them! I applied to 5 schools and ended up getting admits to Yale SOM and Kellogg in Round 2. I was late to the admissions cycle (had already missed Round 1) and wanted to work with someone who would tell me exactly what do to and leave the execution to me. After some research I quickly narrowed down to Admissions Gateway and my initial calls with Mudit and Gauri were enough to seal the deal. I have a pretty demanding job at the startup that I work at and was really happy with the rhythm I was able to build with Gauri. She was my primary point of contact and was approachable, patient, and encouraging throughout the process. She pushed me to think about my goals and got me to draft essays in a manner that I could not have done without her objectivity and constant feedback. When it came to preparing for interviews – she was able to guide me exactly on how to prepare for it while helping me bring out the best parts of my personality and prior experience.
All said, if you are looking for someone to guide you through MBA applications – Admissions Gateway is a no-brainer!
I have rarely seen individuals go out of the way to help others. Mudit and Gauri are one of those people. At a time when I was completely disheartened due to multiple waitlist and rejects in my first attempt, they picked me up and helped me achieve my dream.
I was hesitant to take another consultant but my first call with Mudit stumped me. He simply looked at my resume and could identify the gaps because of which I did not get any convert. I was hooked and within hours of the first free profile evaluation call, I paid my fees.
Admissions Gateway Team are very process and quality driven. Rajdeep sir’s webinars helped me in developing a very structured approach towards building my resumes and essays. This structured approach helped me in coming up with multiple ideas/ stories for my essays whereas multiple brainstorming sessions with Gauri and Mudit helped me in identifying the right story.
Further, I felt that my consultants (Gauri and Mudit) are very passionate about what they do. They were unwilling to compromise on the quality at every step of the application process. Every part of the application went through multiple rounds. In my first attempt, I had taken a couple of days to make my resume but this time Gauri and I took nearly a month for my resume to get ready! My final resume looked so good that even I got impressed by it.
For my essays, they really pushed me hard to introspect and think. Further, during brainstorming sessions, Gauri was a patient listener and would always encouraged me and made me comfortable to share my most vulnerable stories so that she could help me paint a true picture of myself through my essays. There was no restriction on the number of iterations and she was always available on the call (even for minor doubts). Even during my interview preparation, Gauri was so concerned that she went out of her way to organise multiple practice sessions before my every college interview till she felt I was ready for the interview! I always wonder how can anyone service their clients with so much promptness, rigor, enthusiasm because I find it difficult to constantly provide such high level of services to my clients 24/7. For anyone considering to hire a consultant, I would highly recommend Gauri and Mudit. They will make your application journey their own and will not leave any stone unturned till you achieve your dream!
Admissions Gateway provided just the kind of support my disheartened self needed after all the rejections I got in the 2021-22 application cycle. Even after spending a huge amount of money on a US-based consultancy, I couldn’t convert any school. So, I was very skeptical when I started looking for another consultancy this year. I chose Admissions Gateway because of their initial profile evaluation call with Mudit. He went through my resume, my essays from last year, and discussed my career goals. Although, at first a bit harsh to hear, his honest but constructive feedback is what led me to work with them this cycle and convert four of the five schools I applied to.
Rajdeep’s webinar on resume writing and school-specific essays gave me a structured format to craft my story. Even though my goals remained the same, I could see the difference in how I was able to express them through my essays. My consultant brainstormed with me different possible stories, reviewed my essays and resume multiple times, and pointed out very subtle things in my essays, for e.g. how a certain story although fitting to the theme from my eyes could be perceived differently by the admissions committee. I perfected my essays and got interview calls from all five schools I applied to (Wharton, Kellogg, Ross, Haas, Anderson).
Another thing that stood out was the support I got from Admissions Gateway during my interview preparation. While Rajdeep’s webinars were no doubt super helpful and informational, the mock interviews, interview debriefs, and constant help with simple queries made all the difference. Three of my five interviews were so tightly scheduled that I had to sit for all three of them within 36 hours. Naturally, I was under immense pressure, but thanks to the availability of consultants at AG I was able to pull them off and convert all those three schools.
I would highly recommend AG to any MBA applicant, especially if you’re a re-applicant because you won’t get the kind of dedication elsewhere that AG consultants put in to get the applicants get into their dream schools!
I researched extensively for some of the best MBA consultants to help me in my application journey, and I am so glad that I found Mudit and the greater Admissions Gateway team as I could not have asked for better mentors in this process.
I believe that there are three aspects that make AG (Admissions Gateway) a cut above the rest:
1. Being highly accessible at all times, and deeply invested in your candidacy I know some of my friends who signed up with consultants that promised 24/7 accessibility at the time of onboarding but didn’t stick to that promise post-sign-up. This was not the case with Mudit and Admissions Gateway. Their response time was either right away, or in less than 24 hours, and they scheduled as many Zoom sessions as needed a week before deadlines while truly ‘living and breathing’ the application process with you throughout; to make the best application possible.
2. A connected team of experts who discuss your application There isn’t just one person helping you out with your material. The culture at AG is one where a team of experts (consultants) from different backgrounds and top schools in Europe and the US, will discuss an applicant’s case to give different perspectives. This truly helps, especially if you happen to have a difference of opinion with your specific consultant, which is natural at times but can be offset with good communication and more pairs of eyes on your material.
3. Customised approach to get you into YOUR best-fit school I was never forced to apply to ‘safer’ schools that would boost AG’s success statistics. I was encouraged to apply to my dream schools, with proper guidance on potential best fits given my own goals, aspirations, and personality. While Mudit would give me a realistic picture of what he thought my odds were at a specific school, he would also, always, encourage me to apply freely and aim high. Ultimately I got into my dream school – IESE Business School in Spain, which is ranked third globally by FT with a full Forte Fellow scholarship, thanks to Mudit and the team at AG!
Through the guidance I got from Mudit and Gauri at Admissions Gateway, I applied to Booth, Kellogg, Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton. Received an admission to Kellogg for the ’23 intake.
Coming from a healthcare background, my experiences were very technical in nature (medical device development, R&D, manufacturing, etc.). I was very concerned about my ability to convey my story in a way that would captivate the ad-com member without confusing them.
I’d researched a few consultants, but Admissions Gateway (AG) stood out to me both for their track record and a referral from an ex-colleague who secured admission to LBS.
Mudit and Gauri encouraged me to introspect about my experiences, both professional and community and helped me put together a coherent profile. What I appreciated was the relentless drive for quality – even after 16 or so iterations on my resume, they would push me to improve it further and give me clear constructive feedback for reworking it. Their drive for depth and authenticity in storytelling is a core strength of AG – schools like Kellogg and Harvard are keen to know the values that drive & define the applicants, and this was something I struggled with initially. Through AG, I was able to identify and stitch together unique elements of my background that would resonate strongly with the reader.
I would strongly recommend Mudit and the wider team at AG to anyone interested in putting together a quality application to top business schools.
I stumbled on Admissions Gateway after reading about them on Poets&Quants. After the initial virtual meet and greet with Mudit, I was lucky enough to be assigned a slot with them.
Looking back on my journey, I do believe the following three aspects of working with Mudit and the team helped me to get an admit to IESE with a scholarship.
Instilling belief: When one has been lurking around MBA admissions forums on various platforms, some end up questioning their candidacy for a top school. Coming from the most competitive pool of Indian IT Male engineers, I was definitely one of them. The Admissions Gateway team instilled in me the confidence that my candidacy is enough and to focus on the strengths of my application rather than dwelling on what people talk about on forums etc
Framework-driven approach: AG follows a framework-driven approach in building one’s application, starting from cleaning up the resume to the interviews. This framework not only gave me a clear path to my north star but also laid the cornerstone for thinking from an impact-driven perspective over an implementation-driven perspective. This helped to refine my resume and my career goals, enabling me to put forward strong applications to business schools.
Ripping off the band-aid: AG team, always jovial and sympathetic, was not hesitant to call me out when it was required. This helped me to prepare my best for each of the individual meetings, bringing out the best in me. Also, frequent feedback, sometimes challenging, on my application from the wider AG team, helped me refine and put forward a strong application
Overall, I attribute a large portion of my success to Mudit and AG team. They not only helped me secure an admit with scholarship, but also helped me to reshape my outlook on the whole MBA admission process.
I’m not the regular MBA aspirant. Coming from a family business background, I was clueless and nervous about how to portray my story. But with proper guidance from Mudit, I managed to receive admits from Duke ($), Darden, and Foster ($$).
After speaking with 8 different consultants in India and abroad, I decided to work with Admissions Gateway (AG), based on my interaction with Mudit and testimonials from other applicants with a family business background.
Mudit encouraged introspection, helping me learn from the process of putting together applications, and thinking coherently about my goals. He kept pushing me to improve and polish my drafts as much as possible, resulting in 15-20 iterations for each part of my application. This allowed me to dig deeper into my story to build a resume, essays, and goals that told a truly coherent and uniquely packaged story. He also pushed me to retake the GMAT, enabling me to improve my score to 740 from a 710.
Thank you so much, Mudit! I would highly recommend Mudit and AG, and would be happy to discuss him in greater detail with anyone who would be interested.
I was introduced to the Admission Gateway team by a friend who was admitted to John Hopkins University. There was a prompt reply to the first email itself, and they got in touch with me. They had several rounds of calls with me to understand my background and suggest the best schools to help me make a career in public policy. This was quite detailed and I think was the base for all that we did later, from re-working the CV to writing a compelling SOP. I learned patience and perseverance by working with Mudit. He never settles down for anything less than the best. Mudit spent a lot of time improving my CV and SOP through multiple iterations. His all-time availability and attention to details was a big-plus. Since he had a strong understanding of the equity markets, he helped me craft my CV in the best way for my work as a capital market researcher. I had experience also as an insurance products analyst and a commentator on agriculture and food policy. I was confused about how to bring out all my work in 2-pages. Mudit helped me figure this out by breaking my CV into three parts and bringing the most impactful work on the top of the CV. Every point I mention under each head in it he said should translate into what impact it left on the end farmer/investor and how it changed livelihoods. It was not an easy thing to do. When I started, I didn’t even imagine that I could complete the CV as Mudit wanted, but slowly over a period of several weeks the CV took shape. Mudit had long conversations with me to bring out the impact part in the form of numbers in my CV. Every time I had a call with Mudit, I had to go back in memory to recollect my travel, my work, my awards, my journal publications, my public address, and not a single thing was missed and it was all concised and put into 2 pages. I would not be exaggerating if I said my admission to the top three Universities – JHU ($$$), Duke ($$$) and Georgetown University ($$$) in the US and two in Canada (also with scholarship) are thanks to Mudit. After the CV, it was the SOPs where Mudit helped out. He helped me figure out a core idea and an impressive story to say from my field visits in India. I wrote a long story for this, and connected it with my ambitions and choice of school. Mudit tightened the essay and highlighted the right things. Every school had a somewhat different question for SOP, and all the time, Mudit helped. One thing I need to say, Mudit or be Nisha, they don’t write your CV or SOP, they help you write. They tell you how to collect your thoughts and how to write them out in a convincing manner. This is very important as, one, you learn in the process and also later at the interview stage, the interviewer doesn’t see a mis-match in the language you used in the CV/SOP and how you speak. When I started the process of hunting for a school to make a career in the US, I was unsure of how to go about it. But thanks to my friend, who introduced me to Admissions Gateway. The time and money I invested with them is completely worth it. Great job, team Admissions Gateway.
I had a wonderful experience working with Mudit, who helped me with my applications for MS in Computer Science/Data Science programs this past year. I was referred to Admissions Gateway by a Darden School of Business admit, who spoke very highly of his experience working with them.
While I had a few years of relevant work experience in the field, I was lacking in prior academic experience, which usually is a critical factor in decisions taken by admission committees. Through multiple iterations, Mudit helped groom my resume and statement of purpose in a way that highlighted my strengths and put me in the best position to succeed. I was extremely pleased by the fact that this process was highly collaborative- Mudit was open to suggestions and gave my opinions due consideration during our discussions.
The biggest takeaways from my experience working with Mudit was that he was easily approachable and readily available whenever I required assistance, be it about my application materials or a question about a university’s admission portal. Moreover, while providing advice, Mudit would substantiate it with a clear line of reasoning, giving the perspective of the admissions committee by leaning on his experience working as an admissions reader.
Despite an uncertain year for university admissions due to COVID, I was confident with my applications and ultimately gained admission to a university I considered to be out of my reach. I have no doubt that this was largely down to Mudit’s suggestions and advice and would not hesitate in recommending him to others.
Mudit is an excellent Consultant. He helped me and my references through my LOR process for an MBA program. His insights really helped us tackle difficult questions like “what are the candidate’s weaknesses” in a well-thought-out manner. He also gave unlimited tips and feedback on how to impress the college in the MBA admissions interview. His insights and feedback were imperative to my success.
I’m glad to share I received an admit from the university he helped me with.
Unlike others he is not obsessed with money, instead, he cares about his students and their growth.
I felt like he was personally invested in my journey. I have worked with many other consultants but Mudit stands out.
I highly recommend his services.
