Nicole Gehrmann is a seasoned talent strategist with more than 15 years of experience helping professionals advance their careers through strategic positioning, executive coaching, and leadership development. She brings a unique lens to MBA admissions, drawing on her background in corporate HR, university career management, and MBA recruiting to help candidates stand out – and build long-term career strategies that begin with business school.

Nicole served as Head of Alumni Career Management at Columbia Business School, where she provided executive coaching and strategic career guidance to a global network of 55,000+ alumni. Earlier in her career, she led finance, energy, and real estate recruiting efforts for MBA students at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, strengthening industry ties and expanding employer pipelines for students and alumni.

Her private-sector experience spans senior HR and talent leadership roles at Citi, Roivant Sciences, Carta Healthcare, Amyris, and Countsy, where she designed and implemented coaching programs, talent pipelines, and leadership development frameworks. Nicole has worked closely with executives and rising leaders across finance, healthcare, technology, and consulting – giving her unique insight into what MBA programs and top employers seek in high-potential professionals.

Nicole holds a BA in Communications from Purdue University. Outside of work, she enjoys golf and paddle tennis – and helping individuals unlock their full potential.
