I worked with Nisha for the fall ’24 intake cycle. I absolutely loved her and I’m already recommending her to multiple people. She helped me get into HBS (full ride), Booth ($70k scholarship + Forte fellowship), Kellogg ($70k scholarship + Forte fellowship), and Ross ($80k scholarship + Forte fellowship). I also had interview invites from Wharton. For context: I’m an EV tech product manager with 5.5 years of work ex and graduated with a 7.00 cgpa (infact I was even a 5 pointer in my first semester.) My gmat was 740. So as you can see my stats were not my highlight. Nisha truly helped me craft my application in the best way possible and was a good mentor and friend to whom I could share very vulnerable situations of my life – including my insecurities. She was also a wonderful cheerleader who gave me confidence in my abilities and looked into every minute detail of my application – for ex she reminded me to keep a box of tissues next to me for my HBS interview cause I was having a terrible cold :P. She was patient while going through countless iterations of my application and had very creative inputs to connect the dots in my story. Nisha and I also had a system where she would tell me when I can expect a response and she always kept that time. With Nisha, you can be confident that at the end of the day, she will make sure that you have the best possible application submitted on time – even if it takes multiple iterations and time to craft that winning essay! 🙂
With my experience on the lower end, I was initially skeptical of my chances. However, talking to the admissions gateway team, I understood that I had few leadership experiences that would allow me to stand out among the applicants. Due to some personal commitments, this would have been my first final chance at applying to a B school. Although I was very late in starting my process, the team worked closely with me and managed expedited timelines without compromising the quality of applications.
The support I received from AG and the team was extensive. They were right there with me throughout the application journey. They helped me turn my weaknesses into strengths by helping me create a solid and compelling narrative about wanting to do an MBA early in my career.
Additionally, they went above and beyond to help me connect with current students to gain a realistic understanding of the interview process, which allowed me to secure admits from Kellogg, Booth, and Ross. I would highly recommend working with Admissions Gateway.
Coming from a law background, I was unsure of my chances of making it through a top B school. I reached out to Admissions Gateway, and they conducted an in-depth review of my profile, which gave me confidence, and I decided to work with them.
It was an excellent experience working with Nisha and the admissions gateway team. From the beginning, the firm-level workshops helped me understand application strategy and provided me with a framework to start brainstorming for my applications.
Nisha’s insights and expertise perfectly complemented the workshops. She provided extensive feedback on each version of my essays and resume, allowing me to improve every component of my application iteratively. Moreover, we could present an authentic version and accurately capture why I wanted an MBA after working in this field.
I was also happy with the support provided for the interview process. I received very specific advice based on my application, which allowed me to prepare extensively. Additionally, mock interviews helped me to prepare for the final one.
In sum, cannot recommend Admissions Gateway more, they were crucial in my success and receiving admit from Columbia.
Choosing Nisha as my consultant was one of the best decisions I took for my deferred MBA applications. There were so many things in the process I had very limited idea and many myths about the process. Nisha and AG team were there with me throughout for end-to-end support.
Nisha worked with me closely and helped me rework my resume. As a college student with only internship experience I had very limited understanding of how to create a strong resume. Nisha and team helped me create a strong resume which covered all my leadership experiences. After resume, we worked on thinking about our goals. Nisha went through multiple iterations to ensure that I was not leaving any gap in the narrative and eventually was extremely happy with the final output.
Nisha also provided structure for my interviews. She was able to give feedback on my answers and gave insights about the process which set up a strong foundation. She also connected me with a few other alums of the B schools I applied to which allowed me to understand how to approach interviews and instilled confidence.
All in all, highly recommend working with Nisha and can say confidently that you would be in good hands if you work with her.
I was initially skeptical about my chances because I was deciding to pursue a second MBA and was not sure how the universities would receive that. However, reaching out to Admissions Gateway despite my apprehensions proved to be extremely beneficial because they not only decided to onboard me but also provided me with the confidence to begin my journey. The best part of my engagement with the Admissions Gateway team was that they were extremely approachable. I could reach out to them at odd hours, and the team was always willing to clarify doubts as soon as possible and was prompt with their responses. Even though I joined the program in July which was late, they incorporated expedited timelines to ensure that I was able to create a strong application. I particularly enjoyed the essay writing process. It was first thoroughly covered in live workshops which was then perfectly complimented by one on one sessions which allowed me to improve my storytelling and encouraged me to write why I am a good fit for the universities I was applying for. Similarly, working on resume also a very positive experience. I was amazed with the final draft of my resume and while it was authentic I did not expect the final draft to be so thorough. Admissions Gateway provides comprehensive end-to-end support. Hence, when I received the interview invites, I was able to connect with various alumni who gave me specific insights according to my profile. The team also conducted various mock interviews, which allowed me to get into the correct temperament. All in all, it was a lovely time working with Admissions Gateway and I can easily recommend working with them for anyone who is looking for an admissions consultant.
I had an excellent experience working with Admissions Gateway. Right from the get-go, they provided structure for the process. Having gone through a step-by-step process not only relieved a lot of the anxiety but also helped me spend enough time with all parts of the application. I started by watching the team’s live workshops. The workshops helped me develop a robust understanding of the process and provided an excellent starting point. Throughout the workshop, especially for resumes and goals, the team shared various examples, which allowed me to avoid common mistakes and tailor the content based on my experience. Admissions gateway was instrumental to the process of my applications. With their help, I was able to shape the crude materials of my profile into a coherent and suitable narrative that reflected my strengths. Their guidance in responding to essay prompts was meticulously thorough, enabling detail-oriented reflections. Overall, they facilitated me in putting my best step forward in a holistic approach that bolstered my confidence and chances simultaneously. I also benefited from their extensive support during preparations for my interviews. Their feedback was incisive, as they understood the ethos of each school. This was supplemented by enriching interactions with their own alumni network, which is present in the most prestigious programs. This not only helped streamline the process but also gave me insider insight into what to expect in the big picture. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the team and would highly recommend anyone who is looking for an admissions consultant to work with them.
Working with Admissions Gateway was definitely one of the best decisions I took in my MBA applications journey. I thoroughly enjoyed team’s hands on approach which is perfectly complemented by their workshops which were super informative to begin the process. The workshops set the tone for me, which helped me a lot in terms of a starting point. I started with the resume in my process. Admissions Gateway has a very unique take on what MBA resumes should look like. It was completely unique but I trusted the process and went ahead with it. Eventually I was extremely pleased with the final product and was amazed with the amount of information I was able to include in a single page document. Being thorough helped me in other parts of my application as well. I had a mix of research and corporate experience, the team helped me connect the dots between my experiences and helped me draft a compelling narrative for my applications. I was content with the team’s involvement and respected their transparent approach. At no point anyone offered to write my applications but the team was always approachable for for any doubts which helped me write about my stories more comprehensively. In addition to my applications what stood out to me was that the team was always willing to go above and beyond to not only secure admits but also scholarships. I was shortlisted for the Jefferson scholarship at Darden. Nisha went above and beyond to mentor and guide me through the scholarship process which allowed me to gain insights and eventually ace the interview. I ended up getting the full scholarship. I also received scholarships from all schools I applied for. I am grateful for the Admissions Gateway team, and can recommend working with them without a shred of doubt.
I worked with Nisha and Admissions Gateway for my MBA applications, in retrospect that was the best decision I could make for my MBA applications. I worked with Nisha for 6 schools and received an admit from all 6. Looking back at the thoroughness of Nisha’s approach my results are no surprise. Nisha was extremely patient throughout the applications and gave excellent insights. We started with Resume and Goals. Nisha brainstormed my goals essay and understood my story in depth to understand both personal and professional motivations for my goals which eventually proved extremely useful not only for the application but also for the interview process. Nisha’s expertise perfectly complimented AG’s live workshops led by Rajdeep and other experts, these workshops ensured that I had a good starting point which was further led to fruition by Nisha. I was extremely content with Nisha’s involvement throughout the essay-writing process. At times I struggled to pen down my stories effectively given strict word limits, Nisha ensured that the story I wanted to narrate was narrated keeping my voice and authenticity intact. The interview preparation after extensive discussions with Nisha was a breeze. I had a lot of clarity on my goals and why I wanted to do an MBA. Eventually, this clarity was evident to my interviewers as well and I received good feedback during my interviews itself. Moreover, AG’s community of so many people was again a game changer because I always had easy access to alumni from my dream schools to reach out to and have interactions with them. All in all, if there is anyone looking to start their MBA journey, I would highly recommend working with Nisha and Admissions Gateway.
I was recommended to work with AG by my colleagues at BCG. Onboarding AG and Nisha as my consultant was one of the best decisions I took for my MBA applications.
After going through the workshops, I was clear on the majority of things that were required from my end. Especially for resumes, it really changed my perspective on how I approached resumes. The AG team really pushed me to not approach resumes in a traditional way, instead they encouraged me to think of the impact of my work in greater depth which allowed me to mention interesting points in my resume. I was really happy with the end product of my resume. After resume I worked on my goals narrative. I was initially struggling with direction in my application. I believe Nisha’s inputs and comments really encouraged me to think about my work experience and my personal life in more depth. This allowed me to connect dots between my work experiences, extracurricular activities in college, and almost all major decisions of my life. Moreover, Nisha is extremely patient during the whole process, especially through the goals essay. She emphasised the need to spend enough time to think, research and write the goals essays. We went through 5 iterations for the goals essay alone but eventually I was able to chart out a clear path of what I wanted to achieve from an MBA and what I wanted to do after. I received interview invites from Booth, Columbia and Wharton. Going through school specific interview workshops and numerous mock sessions with Nisha and alumni of respective schools provided me the confidence to perform well in my interviews. Particularly, having practised TBD interviews in a community with alumni, Nisha and other applicants provided a flavour of how the final session would be like and allowed me to stay confident and composed during the interviews. I received admits from Booth, Columbia and Wharton. The AG team was also super helpful in negotiating scholarships with the Ad Com. Thanks to targeted advice, I received scholarships from all three schools. It has been an excellent experience working with Nisha and the AG team. They have been proactive with every possible doubt I had in the process, essays, or the interviews. I can easily recommend anyone who is looking for a consultant to work with Nisha.
I was recommended to work with AG by my teammates at Bain. I engaged with Admissions Gateway while I was in US in December 2022. During this period I was visiting M7 campuses and AG’s team connected with me current students there. This was when I onboarded with them.
The workshops were very helpful to start me off. I had a great time working on the resumes, which was enabled by multiple one on one sessions. While working on the resume I was focusing a lot on the processes I had done and less on the outcomes. The team helped me brainstorm the big picture outcomes that emanated from my work. Their emphasis on thinking of my career journey under multiple pillars brought a lot of structure to the resume and helped in rest of the processes as well.
After the resume I started working with Nisha on the goals. My experience allowed me to think about multiple goals across tech, sustainability and also healthcare. What I loved about Nisha’s approach was that she pushed me to pursue thinking about each of these goals and connect dots from my past to the future I see for myself. After multiple iterations we were able to narrow it down to sustainability and which set us up for success for the rest of the application journey. I am specially thankful for the productive introspective discussions with Nisha which allowed me to get a lot of clarity into what I actually want to pursue in the short term and long term and thus which schools would be best fit for me. I remember when the realisation hit me and I exclaimed to her that CBS is the school for me.
I received interviews from Columbia and Ross and Nisha supported me throughout the interview process. She helped me structure and articulate my leadership experiences, goals and strengths. We did a couple of mock interviews which helped me be ready for the actual interviews. I was delighted to get my results in December in R1 and decided to skip R2 because I had gotten into where I wanted to be with Nisha’s support. I will strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a consultant to work with Nisha.
I joined Admissions Gateway with an expectation aligned with the experiences of my colleagues with other consultants. However, AG completely deviated from what I imagine a conventional consulting firm offers. They actively involved me in each part of my application, while offering detailed reviews and feedback for each aspect, and after every edit. Initially, when results started coming out, I didn’t get into a few schools which demoralized me. But Nisha helped me regain my confidence, by constantly reassuring me of the quality of my application and helping me improve it for R2. Her patience and support throughout the process reinstated my confidence and provided clarity for the next round. Being a perfectionist, I sought inputs from close friends, seniors, and colleagues on my essays, and frantically worked to incorporate their suggestions, which Nisha handled quite well, by telling me to avoid making last-minute changes in haste while reassuring me that the application I had was good enough. She meticulously dealt with my over-the-word-limit essays by sieving through the stories and picking the most relevant for the schools we were applying to.
I found the community at Admissions Gateway very helpful in researching the school and going through the interview process, I reached out to various candidates through LinkedIn, however having direct access to various people proved to be beneficial, especially throughout the interview process.
The constant feedback, reviews, and support helped shape my application journey, guiding it to fruition with admits to Stanford, Kellogg, and Wharton with scholarships.
After an unsuccessful round of applications, I was overwhelmed with figuring out what went wrong. This is when one of my colleagues recommended Admissions Gateway (AG) to me. In hindsight, agreeing to engage with Admissions Gateway for my applications was one of the best decisions I took in my MBA journey. Their expertise and collective review of my application was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on approach by Nisha and her persistence and patience to bring out the best possible version of the stories I want to articulate in my application.
Right from the beginning going over recorded workshops set the tone for my applications. I was able to gain a comprehensive understanding about all components like resume, goals etc and how to tailor them to my experiences. This was perfectly complemented with Nisha’s approach to guide me through each component through various iterations. Nisha and I spent over 3 weeks to chart out a compelling narrative that fit in perfectly with my goals.
I worked with AG’s team on numerous iterations for the resume. I greatly benefitted from AG’s unique take on resume which allowed me to rethink how I viewed the impact of my work and has proved beneficial during the interview process as well.
I applied to 5 business schools and got interview invites from all of them. For interview prep I revisited some workshops and Nisha guided me through the process and conducted mock interviews. I was also connected to previous students which gave me perspective of what to expect in the interview. Specifically, going over the TBD interview sessions with current Wharton students and other applicants who received interview invites was extremely helpful in cracking the Wharton interview.
Throughout the process, Nisha’ expertise in the field was clearly evident. I was able to rectify the mistakes I made in the first round of applicants and prepare applications for this year. Eventually, I received admits from Wharton, Columbia and Kellogg. I was waitlisted by HBS and MIT after the interviews. I believe it has been an extremely positive experience with Nisha and Admissions Gateway and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to start their MBA journey.
After strong recommendations from my peers and seniors, I reached out to the Admissions Gateway for round 2 applications. My biggest concern starting applications in round 2 was the tight timeline in which I was planning to apply for 5 business schools. I started with working on my resume. Given expedited timelines, what stood out to me was extremely quick turnaround time for the resume and I enjoyed how thoroughly we covered every detail on my resume.
Next we worked on brainstorming essays. I was initially struggling because I had so many things to talk about in my application. This is where Nisha stepped in and really helped me streamline my thoughts and helped me bring out strengths in my application which was complimented by my personal stories. What I thoroughly enjoyed during my interaction with Nisha was that she was able to provide structure to how I approached every essay. She was patient throughout as we went back and forth various times even though we worked on extremely short timelines. While her approach was hands-on I felt she was someone who didn’t spoon feed me, instead ensuring that I was fully confident about whatever I wrote in my essay.
However, during the interview process Admissions Gateway’s community driven approach stood out. I interviewed with various colleges, throughout the interview prep I started with watching workshops on how to approach interviews for each university. Then I leveraged Admission Gateway’s community to schedule conversations with alumni and gained specific insights about the interview process. I practised Wharton’s TBD interviews with Wharton students and did mock interviews with Nisha.
Overall my experience with Admissions Gateway was excellent, I received admits from Wharton, Ross, Booth and Wharton. I also received scholarships from Ross, Yale and Wharton. I would highly recommend working with Nisha and Admissions Gateway if anyone is looking for a reliable admissions consultant for their MBA applications.
Navigating the intricacies of an MBA application can be as daunting as it is critical. Working with Nisha and the AG team helped me navigate through these applications comprehensively. Before starting my journey I was apprehensive about my candidature because of the gap in employment in my profile. However, Nisha emphasised the need to be authentic and honest in the application and as long as I provide reasons for the gap we should be okay. And turns out that really helped, I was able to introspect and mention the reasons for taking a gap in employment. Eventually, I received an admit from Wharton and Booth. I started by watching workshops by Rajdeep and other experts on Goals, resume and school specific essays. These workshops set the tone of my application. What stood out in these workshops was not only how informative they were but also they provided a structure in which I could think about my application. Once I was done with these workshops, I worked on each component with Nisha and I believe my interactions with Nisha were more informed because of the workshops. Resume building with the AG team was an exercise in storytelling. They encouraged me to expand my vision, to see beyond the immediate scope of my work, and to articulate the broader impact of my work. This was not only a completely new approach to resume writing but also proved a clear understanding about my career trajectory and helped me with other components of my application. After my resume, Nisha worked closely with me to develop a compelling goals narrative. What stood out in my engagement was that Nisha was very proactive and always pushed me to introspect more about my career decisions, or about the projects I took. She was also extremely patient as we went through numerous iterations for goals and consequently all the other essays. Nisha’s impact was especially pronounced during the interview preparations. She emphasised the importance of balancing the content of my responses, ensuring that I showcased the breadth of my experience. This comprehensive strategy was instrumental in my performance during the actual interviews. Moreover, the supportive community at Admissions Gateway was invaluable, particularly for the Wharton Team-Based Discussion. The team facilitated opportunities for me to engage with alumni and fellow applicants, which sharpened my ability to contribute effectively in a team setting that provided a lot of reassurance as well as structure to my preparation. I am grateful to have worked closely with Nisha and would highly recommend anyone who is currently in their MBA application journey to work with Nisha.
I was initially apprehensive about applying to a business school because of less work experience. However, after conversations with the AG team they assured me about my work experience and encouraged me to apply for 2024 intake. In retrospect, applying in this intake was an excellent decision. I came into the process with a lot of preconceived notions. However, going over the workshops led by Rajdeep and other experts cleared the air and were instrumental to provide a structure to my approach. I started working on the resume right after the workshops. This was probably my favourite part of the engagement because of how transformational the overall process of working on a resume was for me. From mentioning only a few KPIs in my resume I ended up writing about the human side of the impact of my actions at P&G. Eventually It was absolutely worth it to go over numerous iterations for the resume. Working with Nisha for my essays and interview was an amazing experience. I worked with her to develop a compelling narrative based on my personal and professional life. Nisha was extremely thorough and no matter how much time it took she was extremely clear about her expectations and ensured that the essays were as thorough as she wanted them to be. For the interview prep I always had the workshops to refer to, to understand the expectations and requirements of interviews for all schools I interviewed for. After various mock sessions and constant feedback on content from Nisha I felt fully prepared for my interviews. These insights proved instrumental in my interviews, and eventually allowed me to fetch an admit from Yale SOM. It has been a very positive experience of working with Nisha and the AG team and I can easily recommend working with them for anyone who might be looking for an admissions consultant.
Admissions Gateway significantly contributed to establishing a solid groundwork for my acceptance to Ross. The AG Team guided me through the initial stages of resume building, identifying my goals and helping me devise my application strategy. They assisted me in refining my resume through iterations. My counselor, Nisha, showed genuine interest in me as an individual, rather than just another MBA aspirant and helped me to reflect the same in my essays. Despite facing personal setbacks that prevented me from completing my application for Round 1 deadlines, Nisha understood my situation and helped me restructure my resume for Round 2. My admission to Ross was a pleasant surprise since it wasn’t initially on my radar. Just five days before the application deadline, my counselor encouraged me to submit my application, a decision I am immensely grateful for. If you are contemplating pursuing an MBA, I would definitely recommend Admissions Gateway.
I worked with Nisha to author applications for CBS, HBS, Booth, Kellogg, and Wharton. I came with zero knowledge of the process, she took me through each and every step of the process, with impeccable excellence. She knew exactly how the stories and narration should come out, and guided me to highlight the right messages across all applications. She was always an email away for any queries. Highly recommend working with her.
Nisha is one of the most hardworking, dedicated and knowledgeable consultants out there! I’ve worked with other consultants previously, but only Nisha and Admissions Gateway was able to get me admitted to a school of my dreams! One of the best things I liked about her was how she was razor focused on helping me get the best version of my story – no matter how many iterations it took.
Nisha was instrumental in my acceptance to Wharton and Columbia. She was a constant pillar of support and guidance right from the first step to the last and there is no way I would have gotten my admits without her. She has a very high-quality standards and will ensure all her candidates meet that, no matter how much effort it takes.
She helped me curate a personalized and differentiated story to stand out amongst a competitive demographic. There is excellence and perfection from her and the AG team, including Mudit and Rajdeep on every step of the admissions journey (resume prep, interview etc.)
There were only a few schools I wanted to attend and Nisha ensured we stayed focus on those goals and targets.
I will forever be grateful to her for helping me achieve my dream!!
Strongly recommend working with Nisha!
Nisha’s guidance and support were instrumental in helping me secure admits from four top business schools- Wharton, Ross, Columbia, INSEAD including scholarships of 40k each from two of them- Ross and Wharton.
When I first reached out to her, she gave me an hour and a half of her time to delve deep into my journey, and brought out nuances that I had overlooked. She really understood my story and what made me unique, which allowed her to personalize the application process for me.
Nisha created a safe space where I felt comfortable sharing my journey and asking questions. Her sharp insights and understanding of my profile made a significant difference in my applications, and I’m grateful for her unwavering support and guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to pursue an MBA or any other academic program.
Despite my doubts, she encouraged me to apply to Wharton. Her extensive research and personalized approach helped me showcase my strengths and achievements in my application, and differentiate my approach for each college. Her experience and expertise in the field made the application process clear and concise, removing all confusion and preconceived notions about writing applications.
I got to know about Admissions Gateway, and Nisha specifically, through some friends who had worked with them in the past and had gotten through their dream MBA programs in the M7s. All of them spoke highly of her and the entire team and now after having completed my process with them, I couldn’t agree more! For me, what differentiated Nisha and AG from the other top consultants I spoke to was the confidence they showed in me and my overall profile from the get-go and the level of clarity they had about every step of the process.
I entered the process completely blank about what was to be done and Nishan guided me really well throughout. First, I started working on my resume with Nisha and Mudit. During the process, they pushed me to reflect on my whole journey and evaluate the impact of everything that I had ever worked on. They really helped me bring out a coherent theme out of very diverse experiences (in management consulting and strategy at a startup). Mudit specifically helped me present the resume in a crisp and concise manner that brought out the impact really well.
After the resume, we worked on crafting my overall MBA story and crystallizing my goals. Nisha’s guidance played a very critical role here in interweaving my pre-MBA career and my aspirational goals. Despite multiple iterations on this, she was very patient throughout and spent enough time on every doubt till we were able to arrive at the best version.
Then, we picked up the essays and the overall applications. Her guidance on how to split the schools between R1 and R2 to maximize my chances really helped me manage the timelines for all colleges and do justice to every application. Her feedback on every iteration of an essay really pushed the quality a notch higher. She constantly pushed me to go into the detail of every project to bring out the impact in the best possible way.
Across the 2 rounds, I got interview calls from 3 out of the 4 colleges that I had applied to (Columbia, Kellogg, Booth), and then Nisha further helped me prepare for these interviews. She took multiple mock interviews with me before every college interview and provided invaluable feedback on every minute detail – from my body posture to my tonality to the content of the answers.
Throughout this process, Rajdeep also helped at every step. He took detailed sessions/ webinars for every top school that set the perfect baseline for the prep and provided me with the tools/frameworks to get my first drafts ready. Also, he reached out to me after every rejection I got to motivate me for the next interview and to help me stay focused on my prep and not get bogged down.
Moreover, their help and guidance went beyond getting the admit. After I got admitted to Kellogg, Mudit & Nisha helped with connecting me with a lot of current students and alumni to help me prepare for my time there and further provided guidance on how to best utilize my time before the program begins.
All in all, I had a great experience with Nisha and the AG team. They hand-hold you at every step and provide thorough guidance on every item. I am really grateful for their help in getting me through my dream MBA program. I definitely recommend AG and Nisha to anyone who is planning to apply to their dream MBA program!
Coming from a super non-traditional background (public policy and rural entrepreneurship), I was doubtful that I’ll be able to translate my work experience into the AdCom’s preferred language. However, working with Nisha helped me tell my story, bring out my highlights, and secure admission to Kellogg. Her inputs were direct and actionable. I was impressed by the level of detail in her inputs as she literally combed through each word I wrote and suggested ways to make my story stand out through my essays. We discussed multiple anecdotes, ranging from my childhood to my career, and how I can integrate them into my essays. She ensured that only the most relevant anecdotes made the cut and weaved a cohesive story.
Also, I am super grateful to have worked with Mudit from AG for my resume. We probably went through more than 30 drafts but his patience and dedication to making sure the end product was polished ensured that I never felt rushed. Mudit’s inputs were highly valuable in making my resume one of the strongest components of my application.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to work with AG and am thankful for their support in helping me get into one of my top choice schools.
Nisha and her team went above and beyond in helping me through the MBA journey. Helped me develop a nuanced way of thinking in terms of presenting content to a wider audience. The team’s insights into what schools actually look for were crucial. They also went above and beyond to manage time zones and help me with my interview prep. Highly recommend!
Nisha helped me refine my anecdotes and resume, to bring out the human aspects and subtle nuances that I would not have otherwise thought of. Her attention to detail and dedication helped me put my best foot forward, despite being a non-traditional applicant.
Admissions Gateway’s flexible and comprehensive approach has made me realize the true value of a skilled and experienced consultant. In my first attempt, I applied to five M7 colleges and even practiced for the interviews, but unfortunately, I didn’t make the cut. However, with the help of Nisha, everything changed. I have secured a seat at Kellogg and Tuck with scholarships up to $40,000 and $60,000 respectively. From my resume to my career, she helped me extract every detail and value, showcasing the best version of myself.
Her expert guidance helped me understand the mistakes I made in my previous attempt and this year, I was able to transform my resume into a story that connects everything, giving it the soul, it needed. Nisha didn’t just edit my work; she positioned herself in my shoes and structured my stories with precision, making sure that every detail was highlighted. Throughout the process, Nisha’s constant zeal to push and motivate me was what I needed. I felt supported at each step, and her guidance was invaluable. I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to apply for MBA programs.
The process of getting into the top schools requires a person who can understand and imagine the struggles of an applicant, just like a poet does, while also highlighting the details, a task done by a quant. Nisha possesses a rare combination of these skills, making her an efficient and effective consultant. I am fortunate to have worked with her, and her expertise helped me secure a seat at my dream school.
Nisha was the perfect partner for my MBA application journey. She knew exactly how to help, helping me position my application in the best possible manner! Couldn’t recommend her enough.
I spoke to Nisha and Admissions Gateway team as I started to think about my MBA Applications in February. The team spoke to me several times till I had all my doubts cleared. I also spoke to other top consultants but what stood out for me was Nisha and AG team pushed me for doing more M7 schools rather than safe schools. Plus, their USP was not getting me an admit but also scholarship. Thus, I decided to work with them.
Nisha and I started with doing resume first, which is considered the most important. During the process we reflected on my whole journey and picked out key pillars. Here, apart from Nisha, I also worked with Mudit from AG who helped me built the perfect resume y focusing on downstream impact for every bullet. I literally did more than 30 drafts with them and they never pushed back on anything.
After this, Nisha and I had a brainstorming session regarding essays. Here, she suggested me to apply across R1 and R2 to maximize my chances. During essays, she helped me reflect how few of the struggles in my life made me who I am and how I can best reflect those in the essays through examples. Even when I felt the essays are fine, she pushed me to make them great but outlining everything with examples and going in details.
Apart from all the major application elements, Nisha was so helpful to also review trivial doubts I had regarding application forms. For example, she reviewed with me my hobbies and other things.
Across R1&R2, I got secured interview invites from all schools I applied to and then Nisha further helped me prepare by conducting regular mocks. Here, the whole AG team actually came together to help me, different people prepared me for different schools. Rajdeep helped me prepare for Kellogg (his alma mater) and Gauri Jaswal helped me prepare for Booth. I felt so prepared for the interviews with the practice, boosting my confidence and helping me secure admits to all schools I applied: Darden, Ross (80K), LBS, Kellogg, Booth and Columbia (80K)
During this process, I was also waitlisted at one of the schools but Nisha helped me prepare update mails for the same which resulted in getting an admit in the end. She further helped to negotiate scholarship too at one of the school.
In all, she is the best consultant who will be there for you at every step and will work with you for over a year (till you get all your admits and scholarships). The best part is the access to the whole AG team of consultants who help you with their respective expertise. They might charge more than other consultants, but they know how to do their job well and get you an admit with scholarship. There is no question to look for anyone else!
One of my seniors suggested I talk to Nisha; some of her friends had worked with Nisha and had been admitted to M7 programs. I wanted to work towards getting an admit to a 1 year MBA program and I did. I got accepted to Kellogg, for 1 year MBA.
On my very first inquiry call, Nisha talked me through the approach she would follow in our journey together. The clarity she had on what needs to be done was what attracted me to go along with her. She did not help me with what needed to be written in the essays or said in the interviews, she helped me develop a life skill set of representing myself and getting my message aptly per the audience.
Their process of resume-building forced me to revisit the impact my work has had over the years; it encouraged me to adopt a thought process that a future manager would need to have.
Reevaluating my impact and work over the years, aligned with my personal motivation for an MBA, Nisha helped me draft my goals in an immaculate manner.
Overall, Nisha’s response was swift, and she was very understanding of my anxiety near deadlines. She was able to clearly articulate deadlines for me, as well as explain actions taken at her end throughout the process; this helped me maintain a clear vision and work as per the plan.
Thanks a lot, Nisha!
My experience of working with Admission’s gateway is nothing short of miraculous. I have come out of this process much wiser only because of Rajdeep, Mudit, Dalal, and Nisha. I reached out to them quite late in the process and also had a lot of personal and professional commitments to attend to but never did I feel overwhelmed because of their structured and actionable steps.
AG’s team helped me craft a spectacular resume along with my career essays with multiple iterations. The team ensured that no events or achievements were missed. They invested time to understand my story and craft cogent essays. As a matter of fact, I would reach out to the team for the minutest concerns and they would still address them immediately. This truly showed their dedication to each candidate. Nisha’s guidance in TBDs was truly helpful and insightful. I took AG’s end-to-end services and it helped me put my best foot forward.
I recommend taking their services.
I started working with Nisha just 3 months before the R1 September deadlines – a delay attributable to personal reasons. Nisha helped me overcome the anxiety that came along with this delayed start by helping me believe in myself and bank on my strengths. She took the time to understand my story, background and motivations in detail – an important conversation that set the foundation for our successful working relationship.
Starting with crafting my resume and goal narratives, Nisha helped me develop a coherent narrative out of my seemingly diverse work experience (in private equity consulting and social impact) by banking on her experience and network of industry experts. She ensured that the final product and thinking was logically sound and was not “underselling” my titles/work as compared to other applicants of my background. This effort was supported by the broader Admissions Gateway community which leveraged a rich repository of examples and experience dealing with candidates of similar background.
Nisha and I then collaborated 1:1 on essay writing and finalization. She leveraged her understanding of my story and creative thinking to persistently nudge me in the right direction when it came to brainstorming ideas and shortlisting anecdotes to use. Her ability to connect the dots and weave a narrative really stood out for me in the process. I witnessed several such “aha” moments during my brainstorming sessions – for example – she helped me connect my failure to clear Indian Civil Services Exam with my initiative to work in Kenya through the thread of my motivation to work at a global stage. Throughout the process, Nisha showed immense attention to detail and ensured that I never hit submit on an application until she was completely satisfied with it – she even went on to address my questions at 11 PM at night a day before deadlines to fine tune my drafts. Her exemplary commitment to my success made a huge difference in the quality of my applications!
Nisha’s thoroughness came out the most when it came to interview preparation. She never allowed me to simply do a blanket prep or get lax between different Bschool interviews – she insisted on conducting multiple mocks for each school’s process to cover some school-specific questions even when I had completed my core prep months before. I believe that really prepared me to tackle even the most unpredictable situations.
All in all, I would strongly recommend Nisha for MBA consulting support – she not only knows what works, she gets personally invested in your successes and goes the extra mile to ensure that you put your best foot forward. In Nisha’s words, “Keep going, you’re doing great”!
Nisha was an amazing guide throughout the tricky and highly competitive deferred MBA process. She provides high-quality, meaningful insights which brought out elements in my application that I hadn’t thought of or in a way that was completely unique. Her knowledge about tailoring the application for a deferred MBA and targeting specific questions as to why I need an MBA admission before I graduate college portray her depth of experience and knowledge in the area. Additionally, with every step of the application, Nisha provided great resources which helped me understand what made a great application.
Lastly, Nisha acted not only as a consultant throughout the process but as a partner who was equally devoted to achieving success from the process. Even through personal medical difficulties, she supported my application as an equal partner. Her detailed analysis, lightning-quick turnaround, and creative ideas as if it was her own application, are a testimony to her dedication.
Working with Nisha was an absolute pleasure. Being a final-year undergraduate, applying to the top B-Schools in the world, I was obviously extremely nervous. However, she left no stone unturned to make me feel at ease throughout the process.
While brainstorming with her, I got so much more clarity about my own life goals as we looked at each of my experiences from a very macro lens, trying to connect the dots backward.
The application process is extremely long, and requires complete dedication, and patience, and it was her motivation that helped me get through it.
If you’re looking for the recipe behind a successful application, you’ve come to the right place!
Applying to the top b-schools in the world can be quite a daunting process, especially as a final-year undergraduate. Partnering with Nisha helped me crack admits to all the b-schools I applied to.
Nisha was immensely helpful through every part of the application process right from School Selection all the way to Interview Prep and mocks. Her immaculate approach to self-realization and thinking helped me push myself to bring out the best in my stories.
As someone who started working with her less than 2 months before the application due dates, Nisha never let that become a problem. Her quick turnaround helped me craft the best possible applications. Nisha’s persistence to get the best out of me even through multiple iterations really helped me a lot.
If you are looking to get the best out of yourself in the process, I highly recommend working with Nisha & Admissions Gateway. Working with Nisha is by far the best investment you would ever make in your MBA journey.
Nisha’s guidance to the b-school application process was an amalgamation of a very structured framework-based approach to writing and personalized storytelling.
Her knowledge of points required by the admissions division of each of the top schools is commendable. From our very first call even before starting to work on applications, she gave me pointers on improving my profile. Accordingly, she helped me to craft a coherent story interweaving my pre-MBA career and my aspirational goals. This translated into a structured resume and crisp, to-the-point essays.
She adheres to very high-quality standards, bringing about continual improvement in all aspects of the application via multiple iterations. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nisha as your partner for the application journey.
I applied in R1 to MIT and Columbia without any consultant and was not even shortlisted for an interview. The straight rejections made me doubt my background as I repeatedly heard that my profile (software developer in high-frequency trading) is not a good fit for B-schools.
I contacted Nisha to get a profile assessment and discuss if I should apply to the top 10 B-schools. In my first call with Nisha, she showed belief in me and asked me to start from scratch and target R2.
She followed a very structured approach beginning with resume finalization, and goal discussions and then moving to the school essays. At every step, she kept highlighting my strengths and helped me stay confident.
Nisha guided me in restructuring my resume to translate it into a B-school resume. To be able to present it in a more impactful manner, she even helped me get guidance from industry experts.
Through webinars and one-to-one dedicated guidance, she helped me present my best form to the admissions committee, getting me 4/5 interview invites and a waitlist. During the interview preparation, she continued to support me by helping me structure my answers, sharing the interview experiences of others, and numerous mock interviews. All the mock sessions were really helpful as she had insightful points every time, which helped me secure admission from Booth (with scholarship) and Yale.
If you are looking to work with someone who can help you identify your strengths, and can give you school-specific advice, I highly recommend working with Nisha.
In 2021, I partnered with Nisha to work on my applications. Nisha possesses a wealth of knowledge and is a one-stop shop for all things applications related. Her approach toward the application was very structured and Nisha never lets you settle for anything other than the best. She also ensures that you work efficiently and your focus is on the things that matter.
For all major areas of application, she helped organize webinars for tips and tricks. Post webinars, she walked me through some samples to organize my thoughts. Finally, she always ensured to give a framework for each specific part of the application. This approach really helped me hit the ground running in drafting my application.
Nisha would always dig deeper and is very persistent in terms of quality, There have been multiple instances where we were almost against a deadline but that did not deter her from asking for multiple back and forth reviews till she was comfortable with the final content.
Always approachable, Nisha really helped me draft an all-rounded application. She reminded me of focusing on networking with students and alumni, and also helped me connect with them!
In the last leg of the application, Nisha helped me with practice mock interviews. For some schools where I struggled in my mock, she pushed for a second practice interview. Nisha gave me very valuable and actionable feedback with respect to content, body language, etc.
Calm, professional, positive, and persistent, Nisha was my anchor throughout this application process and has been an absolute Rockstar! She is very passionate about enabling you to present the very best version of yourself and I simply couldn’t have asked for a better consultant.
Nisha is the absolute best and a very professional consultant!
I would highly recommend her to anyone considering applying to business school. She is extremely knowledgeable, very structured, and pushes you to bring out the best in your stories.
Nisha is one of the few consultants who takes out time to hear you and learn more about you, hence helping you craft the most authentic story.
I worked with Nisha on 4 b-school applications. Got interview invites from all schools and admits from LBS and Ross.
Nisha is a very quality focussed person and ensures that content is of the highest possible quality even if it takes multiple iterations. My experience is summarized below:
Pros: 1. Nisha is great with content. She knows what the school wants and how your story fits with the school’s values. 2. Nisha starts from scartch and makes you think hard about your story to make it bullet-proof. 3. Nisha doesn’t compromise on quality at all. She ensures you re-write paragraphs or hunt for information/metrics if that’s required to strengthen your application. 4. Nisha is very calm and positive, which helps in the panic situations a lot (these situations happen more often than one expects!).
Cons: 1. Slow on follow-ups. You need to check in with her for feedback/updates diligently yourself.
Overall, Nisha is an amazing consultant that you can rely on to give you the best of her abilities and make you reach your full potential.
After making my due diligence on the various consultants on the transparency on the reach and dream targets, and the overall process I decided to go ahead with Admission Gateway. I started my resume preparation process with Mudit. Throughout the process, Mudit helped me to develop that strategic perspective. The transformative thinking was completely new for a person from a technical background. The process really helped me to understand the impact of my work from a broader perspective. After the foundation was laid through viewing the work from a CEO’s mindset and understanding the impact, we started with school-specific questions. Nisha’s insight into every school’s culture really helped me to draw upon my experiences that aligned with the school. Her constant focus on the improvement of your essays is commendable. The focus on specificity really helps you to get the minutiae of your story and make it authentic and unique. The same was reflected to bring out the uniqueness in my profile through the interview. If you are someone who views this opportunity to self-reflect and really understand your journey I would certainly recommend going with Nisha. I would only request you to be patient with her as this process is not going to be easy and will involve a lot of iterations followed by hours staring into the unknown reflecting on the whys asked across your stories.
I am extremely grateful that I picked Admissions Gateway and was assigned Nisha as my counselor. As an early career applicant and the first one in my family to pursue an MBA, I had my apprehensions. During my MBA application process, I soon realized that the secret recipe for success is in crafting your story, here Nisha is an absolute rockstar. During our initial calls, we solely focused on this aspect of my application, and her constant suggestions and inputs really helped me to connect my current goals with my long-term goals and craft a well-rounded story. During the resume building process, the game changer for me was Nisha’s input to think like a CEO, and always think about the impact that’s created by the actions, this really helped me quantify a lot of my achievements. These lessons I will use for the rest of my professional career. My most recent work experience is in my family business, and I was told by a lot of individuals that the admission departments of various schools look down on individuals coming from an Indian family business, especially the ones which are mid-sized. But instead of thinking about this as a weakness, Nisha helped me to portray this as one of my biggest strengths, which was a game changer for my application. I am matriculating to Darden Business school, and have received a half-tuition merit scholarship. I am extremely grateful to Nisha and her entire team for helping me during this journey and highly recommend Admissions Gateway to everyone!
In 2021, I worked with Nisha on my application to the top 10 US B-schools. I was extremely impressed by her overall approach to the application and how much she pushed me to improve the quality of my application materials. For each aspect of the application like resume building, school-specific essays, etc., she held webinars that were very helpful in getting an overall idea of the approach and how to navigate specific hurdles. Post webinars, she walked me through some samples which served as frameworks for structuring my ideas. I was delighted that she started the process for me very early in May, which allowed her to dedicate enough time to every part of my application. Nisha was very conscious in terms of the quality of each part of the application and had a clear idea of the end output. I specifically appreciated the number of iterations and discussions that went into the resume building and goal-setting process, which played a huge part in smoothly tackling the essay writing part of the application. She also pushed me a lot on doing thorough research of each school I was applying to through networking with students and alumni and attending important live events for each school, helping me enhance the quality of my essays. In the last leg of the application, Nisha helped me with practice mock interviews. For some schools that required applicants to prepare video essays, she was very helpful in creating a script and giving feedback on facial expressions and delivery. Overall, Nisha was instrumental in my admission to Wharton (with $$$) and Ross. For anyone that is looking to take on the daunting task of applying to M7/T15 US B-schools, I highly recommend Nisha to help you in your journey.
TL;DR: Nisha pushed me to create the best application I can. Working with Nisha this year and a different consultant last year, I know the huge difference in the quality of the applications I was able to put out working with Nisha due to both her depth of understanding of the process and the rigor about making each and every part of the application as good as possible. When I applied to the M7 schools in 2020 with another consultant I did not receive any invite-only interviews. I felt hopeless, I chose to work with Nisha in 2021 who gave me the confidence to apply to the top schools.
Nisha guided me even before we started working on the applications on the steps I could take to improve my profile in the meantime. As we started working on the applications, she started with organizing webinars and providing knowledge and frameworks to do well in the application process. I realized the incredible depth of knowledge Nisha and the team had on how to approach each and every aspect of the process.
Through the said frameworks, personal guidance, and samples of her past students I was able to work on my applications swiftly without getting confused about what was expected of me. While building my own application Nisha helped me introspect on my own story and was always open to what I was thinking without pressuring me towards a set direction.
The thing that jumped out to me the most was the high expectation of quality for each and every part of my application. For instance, as I created my CV – We went through 15 drafts with Nisha pushing me to do better with each draft so that I could communicate my accomplishments to the Adcom in the best manner. This held true for all the other aspects of the process as well.
Because of a delayed GMAT score as I was running late on my R1 applications, Nisha was very supportive. Even in the last week of the deadlines, Nisha helped me in reviewing my essays so enabling me to put out 3-4 drafts in a day.
Once I got my interview calls Nisha helped me practice my interview skills for each and every school as many times as I needed and even scheduled a Mock Team-Based discussion practice that helped me perform well in the Wharton interview.
If you want to put your best foot forward for your MBA applications, I would recommend you to go with Nisha. It will be a lot of hard work but you will come out satisfied and happy on the other end.
I highly recommend Nisha to everyone who is embarking upon the Ivy-League journey. Key-pointers: • Extremely knowledgeable • Follows a structured approach • Completely invested in her candidates • Results-oriented • Approachable at all times
Talking about my experience: I heard about Nisha from my colleague (who also got admitted to HSW with scholarship). The first call with her was really insightful, she laid out the entire process in front of me. I was highly impressed with her in-depth knowledge of all the schools. She knew exactly what each school wants from the candidates. Nisha studied my profile in detail and came up with a structured plan with clear deadlines. We started from scratch with my resume. Over numerous iterations, Nisha helped me to create a high impact resume and made sure that my strengths were properly highlighted. Next up, we had multiple sessions to discuss my short-term and long-term goals. Nisha’s inputs were extremely valuable and gave me a unique perspective to jot down my aspirations. Based on my goals and my profile Nisha helped me to shortlist the schools to apply to. After finalizing the schools, we worked on my story. Nisha is the best when it comes to storytelling, she inspires you and leaves ample space for you to drive your thoughts. Through multiple brainstorming sessions, Nisha enabled me to create a coherent narrative incorporating my professional, personal, and academic experiences. We did tens of iterations on my story and Nisha ensured that my story was crisp and impactful. Nisha’s understanding of what each school appreciates in an application is unparalleled. Once we had a narrative in place, we customized our essays for each school to bring out the desired quality. After getting calls for interviews (with a 100% success rate), Nisha prepped me for the interviews. The resources she shared were extremely helpful. She had a really good idea of the probable questions. We worked on each and every question in detail and had multiple mock interview sessions. Later, Nisha also organized mock TBD with other aspirants. She was always available to discuss questions and provide feedback (at all hours!) to make sure that I felt confident going into the interview. Her feedback in terms of the content of the answer as well as the soft skills was always on point. The mock sessions worked wonders for me, 90% of the questions asked in the interview were already covered in the mocks. Nisha was as committed to my application as I was. Apart from being a consultant, she was a constant support, a motivator, and a mentor. She kept pushing until the very last moment and went above and beyond the scope of her work to achieve outstanding results.
She was a thorough professional when it came to suggesting the university fit. She not only helped me get admitted to three universities of my choice but also helped me with my scholarship essays. I would be more than happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a highly sought-after admissions consultant. The way she helped me bring out my true story in my essays was commendable, and she was always available to answer my queries, including on public holidays.
HBS (129k$), Wharton, CBS, Tuck (40k$), Kellogg.
My first attempt at MBA application was without any consultant in 2020 and I was rejected from MIT, HBS, Wharton and Booth. The series of rejections made me doubt my candidacy for M7 schools.
In 2021, I partnered with Nisha to work on my applications. Despite rejections from 4 schools, she gave me the required confidence to reapply again. Her approach toward the application was very refreshing.
For all major areas of application, she helped organize webinars for tips and tricks. Post webinars, she walked me through some samples to Chileanize my thoughts. Finally, she always ensured to give a framework for each specific part of the application. Overall the webinars + samples + framework helped me hit the ground running in drafting my application.
Nisha is very persistent in terms of quality, There have been multiple instances where we were almost against a deadline but that did not deter her from asking for multiple back and forth reviews till she was comfortable with the final content.
Always approachable and swift in terms of her response Nisha really helped me draft an all-rounded application. She reminded me of focusing on networking with students, alumni, and the MBA Admission team.
In the last leg of the application, Nisha helped me with webinars + practice mock interviews. For some schools where I struggled in my mock, she pushed for a second practice interview.
Calm, professional, positive, and persistent Nisha helped me get admitted to HBS, Wharton, CBS, Tuck, and Kellogg – all the 5 schools I worked with her.
If you are someone who wants to really invest yourself in the process and realize the true power of self-reflection in getting admits to B-Schools, Nisha is hands down one-stop-shop.
Being an early career candidate, I knew that the admission process will be challenging for me. A fellow colleague with a Booth admit recommended Admissions Gateway to me and I blindly went ahead and am very happy that I did. During our first call, Ms. Nisha listened patiently to my story. Since we were early on in the process, she gave me very strong actionable suggestions on how I can make my application stronger in the upcoming months. She insisted that I think about my long term goals from Day 1. When I had to make an important career decision a few months before the application deadline, she willingly gave her inputs making me confident in my candidature. During resume making, the webinars gave a structure to the thinking process. The insistence of the team to “think from the point of view of the CEO” made me realize the actual impact of the work that I had done. In fact, this way of thinking is something that I will carry on for the rest of my professional career. The best part of the entire application process was the goal setting. It wasn’t an exercise in vain only for the sake of the application. Through Nisha’s guidance, I uncovered the trends in the industry and came up with solid goals. The clarity of these were highly appreciated by the adcom of the schools. The compulsion of the need to be specific in the essays was sometimes frustrating. Yet, Nisha kept pushing me to keep doing better. The end result was of course worth it! The very clear interview preparation guidance gave me a structured way forward. I was able to prepare myself for all possible questions. Especially the school specific research that was highly recommended by Nisha right from Day 1 made me come across as an interesting and motivated candidate. With 3 years of work experience at the time of matriculation, I have secured admits from Fuqua ($$) and Haas. Nisha gets the highest of my recommendations and I am thankful to her to help me achieve my dreams.
Absolute rockstar and extremely helpful! Yale SOM, LBS, HKS, and Columbia SIPA with $$$
Nisha’s in-depth approach to business makes her stand out in the crowd. Being a second master’s candidate, I was extremely skeptical when I approached her first. However, the structure with which we broke down my professional journey was worth a million bucks! I could have never imagined that in my ~5 years of experience I actually had covered so much ground. Nisha starts the entire process by asking the most valuable question: “Why do you want to pursue XYZ course” and keeps questioning you through the journey so that you are actually in it 100%.
Right from the start, Nisha applied a STAR approach to build my resume and essays. This approach brought a lot of structure and streamlined my not-so-usual profile. Nisha really puts a lot of thought into the different essays and was a major help in coming up with a different story for each essay, allowing me to really represent 100% of my experience to the AdCom. She also helped me prepare for interviews and asked pertinent questions, some of them that were actually asked in the real interview – I was left completely awestruck here! She also asked me questions that were school-specific, which made me realize how in-depth her knowledge is on the various schools – across geography
She was not only an admission consultant in this entire process but an actual career coach giving me brilliant advice on the why, how, what of my story, and my goals. Nisha and the team don’t shy away from giving you feedback which is true, honest and which will actually make you shine out in the crowd.
I highly recommend Nisha and the team to anyone who is looking at giving in their 100% to the application process while getting back 110% from the team, ofcourse results will follow! Their diligence is unparalleled and they will help you achieve everything you set out to achieve from this process.
Nisha was my go to person when I was absolutely clueless about how to apply to the deferred programs. Nisha was completely clear about guiding me right from my GRE test strategy to my interview preparation. I would describe Nisha as being extremely approachable, totally involved with the applicant and an excellent reviewer.
I was pretty late in starting my applications, nonetheless Nisha dedicated proper time to help fast-track my process. Her pointed feedback on everything helped me track the key highlights of where I was going wrong. I worked with her for about a month, where she helped me right from developing my resume, brainstorming on my career goals, developing my essay from scratch and last but not the least, preparing me for the interview.
Nisha was completely honest with her reviews. That was one thing that made the process truly helpful for me. I would also highlight the fact that Nisha helped me revamp my entire Curriculum Vitae format into something I could only have dreamt of making.
Her efficiency in working with the applicant can be clearly highlighted from how she approaches everything with a proper framework in mind (STAR). Her guidance at every step was extremely helpful to my overall application:
1. Resume Building: Nisha helped me develop a proper resume over a period of 3 days, given that I was extremely late in the process. She went over and above the dedicated time to help me curate a proper, completely crisp resume following the STAR format.
2. Career Plan Building: Her candid responses to how my career plan was pretty generic helped me put on my thinking cap to think out of the box. Her ability to steer and guide me on both my short and long term goals, helped me stitch the entire application together.
3. Essay Development:This was the key highlight of Nisha’s help. Her ability to clearly highlight important events was truly remarkable. She even helped me understand the importance of small things that had happened in my life, and how they were crucial and helpful to my essay. A 10/10 to her vision in developing the essays. She piece-by-piece reviewed each component of my essay and brainstormed with me extensively to build a coherent piece.
4. Interview Preparation: Her strategy of taking a lot of mock interviews were truly helpful. She not only took mocks but also gave a detailed feedback after every mock. She brainstormed almost all questions with me that could possibly be asked in the interview. Her research on every college is remarkable !!
Overall Note: Nisha is the best person you could find out there to help you with MBA applications. Her ability to go into detail will always help your application stand out. Nisha is extremely approachable and goes the extra mile to help her applicants (She connected me to alumni of different colleges I was applying to, to help me build perspective of what I was going into.) An overall 10/10 if you’re looking for a consultant to help you get in your dream college. 🙂
I spoke to a few admissions consultants a few years back as I was pondering over applying to MFin and that is when I spoke to Nisha, she helped guide navigating the decision with no personal benefit in mind or signing me up. I recall being positively surprised by her approach as compared to other consultants who had no interest in where I applied or landed up and were just interested in signing me up. Over the last few years, she also helped guide extra-curricular decisions with the MBA application in mind. I worked with her over the past ~8 months for my business school applications and appreciated her optimism and confidence when considering working with me. She was comfortable providing constructive feedback on my application and resume. Coming from an over-represented career background, I knew that an outstanding personal essay would be the key component of my applications and given the conversations I had in the past I felt that I could trust Nisha to support my candidacy and provide clear, honest critiques. At the beginning of our cooperation, Nisha spent a significant amount of time understanding my background and helping me look for the unique personality traits and anecdotes that could differentiate myself from other qualified candidates. This self-reflection process has proved helpful in essay brainstorming and writing and was the cornerstone of my entire application. Working with Nisha is truly enjoyable. She is highly efficient and responsive in giving feedbacks to my essay ideas and is always honest when telling me whether or not my ideas would work. I appreciate the open communication we maintained throughout the process, which was critical to our successful collaboration. Resume: I appreciated most how Nisha broke down my roles and responsibilities into compelling stories and pushed me to quantify my impact. Goals definition: This was one of the components of the consulting experience I appreciate most. Nisha and I spent an extremely large number of calls to debate on how I should be presenting my career goals and she reviewed countless versions. Essays: Nisha was incredibly thorough when structuring and editing my essays with 10+ versions of each! She helped structure the plan very early on to ensure that the essays were well customized to the school and even helped structure networking calls! Availability: This is the component in which she made the biggest difference. I lost count of how many times I came to Nisha with one more question or one more thought. Each time he was quick to respond and receptive to my request.
Throughout the entire process, Nisha never let me break a sweat, was always approachable and 1000% invested in my success! As a result, I was able to secure admission along with scholarship in all the six programs that I ended up applying to, including University of Chicago, Duke, NYU, Georgetown, etc. I always felt like we were working on a shared vision for my successful future – extending beyond just getting me into a program/university of my choice!
I was very clear that I wanted to work with her because of the valuable time she invested in understanding my unique context and coming up with a customized and detailed plan. As a first time applicant, the entire process was a black box for me and a cause of great anxiety; however, she really helped structure the entire process for me – from selecting courses and schools, GRE and TOEFL prep to essays, recommendation letters and scholarship.
Her key strengths lie in helping the candidate articulate & structure their thoughts on paper, to bring out relevant impact/experiences (absolutely unparalleled skills!); providing candidates access to a wide network of alums/professors from varied schools and with diverse backgrounds; and determining and/or shaping fit by bringing in her unique expertise of having studied in a target school and been on its admission committees.
And, while here the entire process was streamlined and meticulously planned to help me succeed from the very start, the key highlights for me were:
1. Building an effective pitch through my resume: Applying as a fresh graduate with no work experience, my resume was an area of concern for me. Hence, given the customized plan, we addressed that first. Nisha used my resume as the “highlights reels” of my application, effectively bringing out and tying in the most impactful projects, internships and experiences while helping me craft clear and compelling insights. We had targeted sessions on each session of the resume to ensure succinct but insightful communication.
2. Bringing out my best self to life through my essays: Nisha really invested time in getting to know more about me, my context, my impact stories and my aspirations, which ensured that we could have elevated discussions on how to address each essay question. This, to my mind, is quite unique and really inspired confidence. Nisha helped me tailor essays for each school. Given her expertise and command on language, we never had to go through multiple versions – she was highly structured and gave inputs upfront to avoid re-work.
3. Selecting the best “aspiration” schools & programs: Having the experience of applying to similar target schools for her education, studying at UPenn as well as being a part of the admissions committee at top tier programs, Nisha was able to leverage her unique experience to really guide me on program/school selection as well as provide me with a large network of alumni and professors to ask questions and seek guidance. She went above and beyond to provide me with or help me identify details about each program/school, e.g. placement success, campus life, school philosophy, etc.
To summarize, Nisha was instrumental in helping me reach my goals in the very first attempt! I could not have asked for a better mentor and partner to support me through this journey.
I reached out to Nisha during a crucial phase in my personal life and wanted clarity in my next career move. I was looking for someone who could understand my personal situation and provide nuanced guidance, tailored to my profile and target schools that would help me maintain my financial independence. I contacted Nisha just a month before my deadlines, so she ensured that the initial call was long and in-detail which gave me a good bird’s-eye view of what to expect in my journey and of course the great performance record. During our engagement, she guided me through every aspect of applications from school selection till the post-interview formalities including US VISA interview. Resume: Nisha worked with me on my resume nearly every day and we did countless iterations of my resume. She helped me include projects that innovatively applied to analytics, on my resume that I would have never included if not for her constant push to dig deeper. The resume structure followed by her is not only unique but also allows the candidate to think about one’s profile holistically and is impact-driven, as it follows the “STAR” format. The long time spent on the resume upfront equipped me with the overview of my profile that became the backbone of my personal statement and overall application. Personal Statement: Going into the process, I had numerous concerns regarding my profile such as academic background misfit and seemingly irrelevant work experience. But Nisha’s deep understanding of admissions process and her conviction about my chances helped me positively portray my concerns as my strengths. A unique quality of Nisha was that she refined each word on the statement until it came out really polished and crisp. Interview prep: Using my resume as a foundation, Nisha practiced with me several times and ensured that I had my 2-minute pitch ready along with answers to various situational and behavioral questions, which actually did appear in the interview. Also, she helped my practice various case and numerical questions specific to this particular program. I would like to highlight how she went beyond the call of duty to ensure that my masters program helps me achieve my larger goal of pursuing a field that I am passionate about while contextualizing my application in my personal constrains. You are in the safest hands when working with her.
I was working when I sought to fill my applications and hence struggled to manage my time and yet find a quality outcome. It was then, that a colleague who himself is a MBA Duke admit recommended me Admissions Gateway. I blindly went forward with them and must I say I have never regretted my decision.
While calling for inquiry, Ms. Nisha noted my story and had already built a storyline for applications when I called her again for confirmation. Her confidence in my profile and detailed inputs, which even I had failed to take note of, assured me of my decision.
I am highly grateful to Ms. Nisha For – – My CV. I am proud of my CV, which stands out well structured with STAR approach and quantitative results highlighting my skills – My motivation story. While I had idea about my goals and motivation, she helped me weave my story and bring it out on the platter. I was supported in my interview prep through content reading, links, model questions, and mock interviews. Initially, I had hiccups and was not able to bring my story in my answers but Ms. Nisha with patience guided me through and I became well versed.

Hands-down the Best in the Business
Nisha adopted the most comprehensive approach towards the consulting process. As a final year undergraduate, without significant experience, I had insurmountable odds to overcome. Nisha’s kind and considerate approach, expertise in storytelling and understanding of my profile – and of the softer traits I exhibited during the process is admirable.
A segment-wise breakdown:
School Selection: Despite few schools offering the program, AG helped me identify, target and most importantly – prioritise during the application process. The subtle nudge towards two schools, the ones I converted, is akin to fortunetelling!
Essay/Application/Story: The most anxious fun I have had in my collegiate life was articulating my career plans and goals and conveying it effectively to the admissions committee. I cannot thank Nisha enough for helping me with crafting the perfect story and for her impeccable knowledge of niche industries like VC. The dollop of occasional humor is a big plus for nervous candidates like me 🙂
Interview Prep: This needs huge amount of work – more so for an undergraduate student who has not given 5 interviews in his entire lifetime. Nisha helped me anticipate the questions, prepare detailed responses – and most surprisingly, in a perceptive fashion, told me what some of my answers to questions on personal traits should be based on her 100% accurate analysis. Kudos on that!
Professionalism: With applications due in first-week April, I started working with Nisha in mid-February (too freaking late) – despite that, she helped me meet the impossible deadlines with the utmost ease. Even for trivial issues, her quick turnaround and considerate approach is highly appreciable.
I highly recommend working with Nisha and the team at AdmissionsGateway for a successful admission – the best investment you would make.
