Rachel was incredible to work with throughout the MBA application process. She gave very honest, constructive feedback, letting me know (gently!) when the communication of my ideas wasn’t as strong as it needed to be. She pushed me to dig deeper into my motivations for getting an MBA and refine my articulation of my short-term and long-term goals, which I referenced constantly throughout applications / interviews / alumni conversations as part of my personal brand. Her structured iterative process allowed me to put the concepts lingering at the back of my mind onto paper in a compelling way that would resonate with those reading my application.
Rachel also went above and beyond my expectations. When I didn’t feel confident in my “What matters most to you” essay topic for Stanford and decided to completely rewrite my application essays the night before the due date, she made time to provide some last minute feedback a few hours before the deadline — now I’ll be attending Stanford in the fall!
With Rachel’s help, I was accepted at all five M7 schools I applied to, including HBS & GSB, and received one partial ($80k) and one full merit-based scholarship. I couldn’t have produced the same level of application without Rachel’s honest guidance and feedback. I absolutely recommend working with her!
Rachel was an incredible resource for me throughout my entire MBA application journey. I worked with Rachel over a ~3-month period, and from the beginning she was instrumental in developing my personal brand. I came into the MBA process with an idea of my personal brand, but with Rachel’s guidance I was able to uncover even deeper insights into who I am today and my future goals. Rachel helped me take the various facets about my past experiences, extracurriculars, and personal motivations and craft a cohesive narrative to build my application around. In turn, this made writing the essays and interview preparation much easier, as I had a strong, cohesive narrative to tie everything together.
Rachel played a critical role in my MBA application journey, from initial brand development to essay reviews and interview preparation. She was a key reason behind my acceptance to Wharton, and I would highly recommend her as a resource to anyone undergoing the MBA application process.
I was lucky to be assigned to work with Rachel Groh when receiving MBA application support from Vantage Point. I was a bit skeptical about hiring a consultant to help with essays, but Rachel was truly awesome.
Not only did she create a nice cadence to the application process so that I never felt behind, but she was also an incredible sounding board when deciding on essay topics. I appreciated having Rachel’s keen eye on the things that I submitted. Because of Rachel, I was able to get into almost every program I applied to.
I worked with Rachel on r1 MBA applications. Received acceptances to 1 t7 and 1 t15 school with $$$! Highly recommend working with her on your MBA journey as she keeps you on track and organized, is highly knowledgeable and super supportive.
