If there was a “degree of difficulty” component to MBA admissions, Rahul’s application would have been set at the highest possible level. As an Indian male international applicant with an engineering degree and finance background, he was part of the most overrepresented pool of aspiring MBA candidates. Moreover, he was pitching himself as a career switcher into Media and Entertainment with zero practical experience. With the help of Veritas Prep, though, he did exactly what he set out to achieve and despite graduating at the height of the global financial crisis, has thrived in his new life. Rahul started his career at one of the world’s largest financial services firms, working across divisions as diverse as Private Wealth Management, Corporate Finance, and Fixed Income Research. After business school, he made a significant career switch into business development and sales, working for three of the world’s largest media companies. Rahul also has an international perspective deeply embedded in his DNA.

He has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, London, Geneva, Singapore, and now Hong Kong and has had the good fortune to visit a further 35 cities in his life. He loves nothing more than to meet people from all walks of life. Rahul is truly passionate about helping clients, and with his two years as a student admissions officer and several more years as a UCLA Anderson alumnus interviewer, he is a great guide to unravel the mysteries of the MBA admissions process.
