During a career spent evaluating targets for buyouts, Richard prepares companies for acquisitions with the same passion as he prepares MBA candidates for admission. His passion for admissions began more than ten years ago when he decided to teach the GMAT for a major test prep company. He carried that passion with him to Palo Alto, California, as a student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and later as someone who evaluated candidates on behalf of the business school. Even with a busy career in management consulting and corporate development, he never strays far from helping MBA clients navigate the challenging admissions process. Richard is a staunch advocate for his admissions clients. Believing that there is no difference between the due diligence on an acquisition target versus due diligence on an business school applicant, he commits himself to really understanding his clients. Richard is committed to a single overarching admissions consulting principle, “everyone deserves a shot.”
Richard specializes in admissions consulting for those on non-traditional career paths, those with low GPA/GMAT scores, and graduates of lower-ranked undergraduate programs.
