Sekou is a seasoned brand marketing professional with over 13 years of experience in the technology, entertainment and media industries. However, what he is most passionate about is helping clients achieve their dreams by being admitted to the top MBA program of their choice. Sekou has spent more than ten years working with MBA candidates in some capacity, with five years at Veritas Prep as a Head Consultant and School Specialist. An alumnus of NYU Stern, he has remained extremely active over the years with Stern’s admissions community, often returning to campus to engage with prospective students, give admissions interviews, and assist with diversity recruiting. Sekou has experience at Facebook’s New York office, and has worked as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Undertone (a digital advertising company) and as an Adjunct Business Professor at Monroe College. Overall, his experiences working with a diverse array of prospective MBA students has allowed him to relate to a broad range of personalities and interests. Ultimately, Sekou has a strong passion for working with people, building relationships and pushing people to achieve their best.

Sekou specializes in admissions consulting for those on non-traditional career paths and for underrepresented minorities.
