Trisha Nussbaum

Trisha was truly the best consultant I could have asked for. She was instrumental in helping me achieve my goal! Initially, I was very hesitant about investing in a consultant, but when Trisha and I had our initial call, I felt that she was very approachable, candid, experienced, and knowledgeable. It was the best investment I have ever made. I am beyond glad I had her as a resource through this whole process because it would not have been as smooth as it was if I had tackled applying to business school by myself. I only applied to one school and opted for the one school package through Fortuna. I appreciated how organized Trisha was in setting up timelines and weekly meetings. She was always very responsive and her answers to my questions were extremely thoughtful and detailed. Throughout the experience, she took the time to get to know me and I felt she really cared for me and my story. I am so grateful that she broke down different parts of the application for me and clearly helped me understand how I should approach each part of the process (Letters of Recommendation, Essay prompts, Application questions, Interviewing). I’m not sure if I would have achieved my dream of getting accepted into NYU Stern without her guidance. If you are thinking about getting a consultant who truly cares and is very smart, she is the one for you!

Trisha was instrumental in helping me get admitted into several of my top schools, including my dream school. She helped me identify what made my story compelling and effectively communicate it through my essays. She was readily available and was always quick to provide feedback on all of my work. She was also critically helpful in helping me prepare for my interviews. I could not have done it without her, and she was a joy to work with. I cannot recommend Trisha enough.

Trisha was my MBA admissions consultant as I applied to full time MBA programs this year and she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I come from a non-traditional background and Trisha was able to provide strategies and insights that really paid off as I applied to my target and reach programs. She provided constructive feedback on my essays and was always available for a quick chat when I needed to go over any revisions. Our meetings were productive and she had a game plan for every session to maximize the time we had together. Overall I had a great time working with her and can’t recommend her enough!

Trisha played an instrumental role in not only helping me develop the stories for my essays but also helped me really think about the reasons behind why I wanted an MBA. I feel as if this translated into stronger final essays and helped with admissions.

She was also very timely at returning edits to me and helpful at managing deadlines when I would fall behind a bit from being busy with work. Some of my essays easily went through 10 iterations (2 even had complete rewrites) and she was always quick to review and provide thoughtful feedback.

Finally she was almost always available to set up time to meet. I found this particularly helpful for brainstorming essays and getting some ideas down. She was easy to brainstorm with and great at helping pull together different topics I was considering or dive into a certain story I had to make it work.

Trisha was my primary consultant for my applications to 2 schools. My biggest fear in applying was the essays. Trisha really helped me articulate and define my story and was very patient through the multiple rounds of reviews we went through perfecting it. I started the process very late in the game but Trisha was always on top of things and making sure we remained on track for both of my deadlines. I always appreciated how she made herself available for calls to walk me through things and help with my interview prep!
