Post MBA Goal:

Transition to management consulting helping organisations make firm decisions based on thorough analysis and plans; have international mobility. Eventually, use this experience to start and agriculture production export business based in India.

    Hi, this is Deepak Punwani from MBA Exchange. Its nice to have a look at your profile and like the adcom, have deep respect for your work in the army. You have a lot going for you. Great experience in the army and also in diplomatic mission. And combine that with stellar academics. You would have picked a lot of leadership skills during your stint in the army and if you can position those well, you should be in play at most of the schools. An interest in sports and general fitness is an additional trait that you can leverage. Your age will be a definite factor but we have seen that applicants from the forces are generally older.     Hi Mr. Army Guy, this is Julie-Anne Heafey with mbaMission. US school ad coms really respect the military and your stats look great compared with IESE averages…. however I do notice that the average experience there is 4 years, which means that they will wonder why you are looking at the regular MBA and not their Global or EMBA programs (if that’s the case). You’re a little closer to the average experience at HEC (6 years), with an average age of 30, so you may find a better fit there. MIT and Booth may be tougher – you are just slightly over those GMAT averages and many people from India apply with incredible stats, so you are likely held to a higher standard. …
