Class of 2022, 5+ years all in Finance Starting off as a trader in London, work permit issues forced me to pivot to Singapore and work as an Interbank broker for FX and Fixed Income markets, whereby I started as a junior trainee and worked myself up to a Senior broker helping establish the companyās brand and market share from 0 to being near the top.

Starting off as a junior all alone in Singapore at a desk with 0 market share, worked my socks off to help establish the firm and myself as a market leader in doing what we do in a smaller team with a smaller budget compared to competition seeing multiple promotions. Success has meant I can fund my own education.
Moving out of Singapore to a location in Europe or the middle east and start my own family and finally settle down after a childhood of moving location. Professionally I hope to leverage my MBA to transition into a new more growth-focused industry/startup.

Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. There’s a lot to like about your profile — strong work experience including working both in London and Singapore, a very high GMAT, and it looks like some interesting extracurriculars although I can’t tell what your role was in these endeavors. GPA is a bit on the lower side but not any red-flag and I think your GMAT and work experience help mitigate that. I’d like to see more clarity around the post-MBA goal. If you want to pivot to a growth-oriented startup, share specifics on what the perfect role looks like to you, and WHY. That WHY is always important to give context. I think INSEAD sounds like a good fit and you have a reasonable shot …
