Given your background in working on oil rigs and your future goals, these schools are excellent choices for you. That 4.0 in mechanical engineering is an eye opener and your master’s in petroleum exploration and production is a bit of icing on the cake. Your raw stats are highly favorable for these two schools as well. And your engagement with children who come from economically poor backgrounds is highly admirable. I think your chances of getting accepted to one of these two schools is highly likely.
