I am a first generation American, born to parents who fled the Soviet Union in the 1980’s. I am passionate about solving climate change and believe financial markets can accelerate our transition to net zero. To that end I worked at a climate-tech startup while in grad school and am now working at a boutique climate-focused investment firm.

Capstone Project: After 6 months of hard work I completed a 40-page whitepaper on how blockchain could be used to help scale voluntary carbon markets. My capstone advisor was so impressed he recommended I publish the paper!
I helped a Direct Air Capture startup raise money for a pilot facility. The plant will capture 10k tons of Co2/year!
The firm I work at right now is focused on venture capital, private equity, and M&A (around climate-tech businesses). While I understand climate-tech, I’m a bit out of my depth when it comes to the business/finance side of things. I’m hoping an MBA can help me understand that world better. Both my bosses went to Harvard, so that’s my first choice.
