    I’m glad you immediately explained that low 2.5 GPA because it will take a lot of explaining, sadly, to make it not weigh heavily in your admission decisions. I agree with you that your 730 GMAT, along with your explanation, should offset those concerns, especially if your low grades were concentrated in a single year or two and you showed an upward trend toward the end of your undergraduate experience. If that is not the case and your low grades persisted through all four years that will be a major problem in gaining an admit from Tuck. What you have in your favor is your energy background.
