While you are a little short on extracurriculars, those “big life wins” are impressive. It sounds like you definitely have the leadership experience covered. When reading your goal, it sounds like you are targeting a move to finance, possibly in VC? While I love the motivation and perspective you’ve had, this sounds like a big career move and one that is difficult to make. Why is this the way in which you see yourself making an impact on healthcare? What skills do you already possess that have prepared you for it? Your story will be very important here, and based on Sloan’s application history you will have very limited space to tell it, so you will need to choose wisely. if you do this well, I think you have a very realistic chance at Sloan. You also might consider Kellogg as an option. Please feel free to reach if you would like to chat more about how to position yourself for MIT and beyond!
