Out of high school I served in the special operations with the goal of serving at the most elite level. After attending West Point I served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division where I was deployed to Iraq and Syria. After deploying I transferred to the Army’s Data Scientist field where I have been for 2 years.

As a young officer in the Army I was able to tutor and help over a dozen Soldiers get their college degree; they were each the first in their families to get a bachelor’s degree. Another moment was delivering aid to property stricken regions of Iraq and Syria while physically providing safety from terrorist organizations.
My insight from serving has made me even more passionate about helping those in need, I do however think that more effort needs to be put into effective altruism; I believe my masters in Data Science combined with a business eduction will help me help the most people possible.
