I am an Army Officer who will soon be separating from active duty in the summer of 2022 after having served 4 years. I am most interested in management consulting but am open to other career paths that an MBA would also open doors to. I would like to get into volunteer work introducing older low-income teens to consulting jobs they would otherwise not see.
I attribute bad grades to balancing school with work and ROTC. In my last 2 semesters, my GPA was 3.0 and 3.6 but I don’t know if that’s enough for an “upward trend” argument to be based on.

One of my biggest life wins was earning the rank of eagle scout. It took almost 7 years of balancing school, sports, and scouting but it was the first real major accomplishment in my life.
I would love to work in management consulting. I understand it is competitive but I would say I’m interested enough in the consulting field as a whole to still enjoy other types of consulting. I would prefer to work on the east coast or in Texas.
