Hello Mr. Military MedTech. First off, thank you for your service. I’m from a Navy family but I won’t let rivalries influence my assessment of your odds. Think about how you were able to motivate your troops beyond just using your rank, and how you were able to achieve success in your missions. Tell them why you are pursuing a career in healthcare or IT and demonstrate that your past perfomance has laid some of the groundwork for that pivot. Finally, your personal story is really compelling, an immigrant on a sports scholarship becomes a citizen and a solider willing to serve his new country. That will resonate with any adcomm member. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for your service but your chances are low. GRE is low and GPA does not make up for it. Leadership experience is less compared to other military applicants. I like your story but think your chances are low at the schools listed.
