I am a Surface Warfare Officer with 4 years of experience transitioning from the Navy in order to pursue an MBA. Quant is my weakness as I did not have a lot of experience in school or my career practicing it. That being said, I have a nontraditional background as I was born to a teenage single mother. I plan on sharing this story on my application.

– Overcoming obstacles based on my background and journey. – Being ranked number 1 out of 13 officers on my evaluation.
Short-term – With my Naval service being cut short due to a medical issue, I would like to continue to serve in some capacity. After doing research, I would like to pursue the special advisors program (FBI or Secret Service). Long-term – I want to gain private sector experience at some point, so consulting seems like a viable option.
