While working for a major automotive manufacturer, my team and I implemented a lean methodology tool in 15+ suppliers with over $15,000 cost-benefit and impressive process efficiency results.
I have been in manufacturing/operations throughout my career, however, I have been interested in consulting for a few years. I would like to take advantage of a 2 years full-time MBA program for a career transition.

You have a really interesting profile. Let’s start with the questions or potentially negative aspects of it. First, your GPA of 2.45 is very low. At Goizueta, the class average is 3.3. And at 34 years of ago, you are probably better suited to either an Executive MBA program or a part-time MBA program. At Goizueta, the average work experience of an entering student in their two-year MBA option is six years. Still, it would be hard to overcome both that low GPA (unless you have a very solid reason for it) and your age. In addition to Emory, which would be a stretch school for you, I would also look at three or four more schools ranked below the top 25. Good luck!
