Big Life Wins:

I am a Product Manager Intern at Oracle where I delivered a feature and received a full-time offer during my first stint as an intern on the Financials team as a second-year undergraduate. I developed an organization and entire curriculum for Product-related thinking as an undergrad (PM, marketing, design) and taught an inaugural class of students.

Post MBA Goal:

I hope to work as a Product Manager in the finance industry for some time before venturing into the startup scene, specifically to tackle the issues of financial literacy in younger underrepresented demographics. I also want develop strategy and management models. I hope to pass on my continued learning through writing.

    Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You have some very strong stats and great internships in your field of interest. It’s good to see your focus on education as well and how you might parlay that into a career after the MBA. You should be specific about what you mean by product-related career” though. They’ll want to see exactly what you have lined up after college and before the MBA (for 2-4 years), including the skills you anticipate gaining, as well as what you see doing after the MBA (perhaps ed tech to combine the tech experience you have/will get more of with the education aspect you’re passionate about?).
