Leading Australia’s largest LGBTI+ professional mentoring program with over 1000+ active participants. Founded a social entrepreneurship society on campus that is now a faculty-led entrepreneurship program. Sponsored by the university to compete in competitions (social impact & corporate) in London (Hult Prize), and Norway (NHH Case Competition).
Have accepted a graduate role to start at a Tier 2 the following year. Hope to develop skills there to do more work in the impact space and public sector in Australia. Applying for a deferred role (considering MBA/MPP) for future career flexibility.

Hi, it’s Nisha from mbaMission. Deferred programs look for very strong academics, exceptional extracurricular leadership, and a promising start to your professional career. Along these lines, you have a lot of pluses – consulting experience and a full-time offer, and I’m especially really impressed by your leadership in the LGBTI+ professional mentoring program and how you founded the entrepreneurship society on campus. The deferred programs don’t typically target undergrads studying business already, but they also don’t get a ton of applicants from Australia either, and you have a compelling personal story – therefore, if you get the very high GMAT you’re aiming for, I think you’ll be a solid contender. Best of luck!
Hi Mr. Social Impact and recent grad. This is Donna Bauman with Stratus Admissions and I am happy to weigh in on your deferred MBA/MPP odds at Sloan, HBS and Wharton. Your accounting background from Sydney will be a differentiation point. Typically those with business backgrounds don’t have as clear a path on the deferred admit path, but I am impressed by your LGBT professional mentoring program work and it is great that you have a position secured. Assuming you can get the 750, this score will help in your cause. This is a great year to be applying to deferred admit programs and I encourage you to look at a few more including Booth as well
