Mr. Tech Consulting

About Me:

Came out of undergrad with experience at NASA and Experian with the expectation to move to Big Tech, but after a near-death experience, pivoted towards human-based consulting. Current work is mostly technical-based implementation, leading development teams across multiple projects.

Post MBA Goal:

I hope to use an MBA to pivot to more strategy-based consulting work, rather than implementation work itself. Many of my implementation projects have had difficulty succeeding due to strat teams with no technical knowledge. Want to combine experience with tech to become well-balanced leader.

Your progressive career within consulting, the strong possibility that you’ll secure firm sponsorship, and on top of that your solid academics and meaningful community involvement, will put you in contention for the top schools as long as you execute strong applications that: highlight your professional/personal impact, explain clearly the motivations behind your goals, and make a strong case for why each program is a good fit for you based on its culture and resources within/outside of the classroom. Mr. Tech Consulting – thanks for posting your profile. Susan Cera here from Stratus.

I’m curious, are you looking to apply NOW to start a program in the summer/fall of 2020? Alternatively, if you have sponsorship then perhaps CBS J-term might be a good option.

I like how you have been using your talents to support community initiatives. To find a seat at CBS, it will be important for you to demonstrate why you want to be at the very center of business. What opportunities exist at CBS that you hope to leverage as you move towards your goals?(Master classes? …
