1) About to get promoted within the firm in my 2nd year, a step that takes 3-4 years on average. Next year, I will be joining estimating/bidding team to help strategize on future projects, a post that is usually reserved for 10+ experienced professionals. 2) Co-founded a construction tech startup. Raised a total of $50K via national NSF I-Corps.
My short-term goal is to transition toward the business side of construction and chart my path toward Project Manager/Project Exec. opportunities in mega-scale capital projects. My long-term goal is to run a global construction firm.
