I am a project leader at MBB Singapore with 6 years of experience. I am 28 years old and from Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and graduated from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya (a very non-famous undergrad school; I’m afraid, but considered a top business school in the country). I graduated as the most outstanding student non-academically among 2500 students (had won 80+ nation & international competitions, such as L’Oreal Brandstorm, P&G CEO Challenge, HSBC Business Case, etc.).

Had 3 promotions with 6 years of work experience (3 years in Indonesia & 3 years in Singapore), with a strong recommendation from an associate partner. Got into 30U30 Forbes with an ed-tech startup. Currently, a mentor coordinator at Yellow Ribbon SG; helps ex-refugees find housing, financial planning, and legal issues; has helped 750+ ex-refugees in < 3 years.
However, I had two concerns, my ranking in undergrad school & low GPA. I had some bad grades in my 1st & 2nd year of undergrad (especially in financial management courses) caused by bad depression & anxiety. Took HBS CORe (management, tech, finance, & leadership courses) with high honors. Did summer school at Korea University with an A+ and volunteered (online) at UN 6x as an undergrad.
Currently uncertain, but have 3 definite alternatives: – continue working at MBB in Singapore/Indonesia. – work at United Nations Singapore (or another NGO) & provide pro-bono consulting services. – continue growing my edtech startup on a more extensive scale (currently has helped 100,000 students to receive higher education).
