With an early promotion, you have stood out from this elite crowd by working in one of the hottest areas of business today: sustainability. You also are from Japan, which in recent years has been sending fewer applicants and students to U.S. business schools. And you solidly check the stat boxes, with the 770 GMAT and your 3.9 GPA. The fact that you will be sponsored and return to your firm after graduation also relieves a school’s career management office of the responsibility to get you a job. Right out of the gate, you are applying with advantages that few applicants, including those from MBB, have. Your goal is to make sure you turn in a solidly executed application and a well-crafted essay that tells your story well. Given how you present yourself in this abbreviated format, I have little doubt that you will do that.
