The Master of Taxation program admits students for the fall (August) and spring (January) semesters. There are three prerequisite courses for this program: Principles of Accounting I and II and an introductory federal taxation course. These courses are often referred to as Introduction/Principles of Managerial Accounting or Introduction/Principles of Financial Accounting.
Georgia State university ensures that your 30 hours of coursework focus solely on taxation. Beyond six required courses, students can choose electives like Individual Taxation, Estate and Gift Taxation, State and Local Taxation, International Taxation, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
