When you collect all the data together, which firm ranks above everyone else? Well, this year’s winner is…Evercore. And this shouldn’t be any surprise. Evercore ranked in the top 10 across the board, topping the member rankings in key areas like professional growth, fairness, management recognition, and most recommended by employees. However, it was a tight race with Evercore scoring in the 99.9 percentile, just a shade above Blackstone Group (99.8) and Harris Williams & Company (99.5). Goldman Sachs and William Blair rounded out the top five. This ranking came out quite differently than one conducted by Vault in 2014. While Blackstone Group’s number one and Goldman Sachs’ number two ranking correlate with Wall Street Oasis, there were several key differences. For example, Evercore landed at number six with Vault, with Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase just above at numbers three and four. On Vault, William Blair ranked 13th, not fifth, while Centerview Partners and Greenhill & Company were top 10 firms (They weren’t ranked in the top 30 by Wall Street Oasis.
