The New Faculty Faces At The Top Business Schools

As noted in the main story, Columbia Business School brought two of the most experienced faculty members to make moves during this academic year. Jonathan Glover had spent more than two decades at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper and Shivaram Rajgopal was the Schaefer Chaired Professor at Emory’s Goizeuta before moving to Columbia. The two have a combined 40 years of teaching experience. Columbia also hired new classroom professors with PhDs from Harvard, UCLA Anderson, and Michigan’s Ross.

Northwestern’s Kellogg hired seven new faculty members with a combined four years of post-PhD teaching experience. Daniel Martin spent one year at the Paris School of Economics after earning a PhD from NYU Stern and then spent one year as a visiting professor at Kellogg before being hired away from Paris. Interestingly, Kellogg hired two new faculty members with PhDs from the London School of Economics.
