Description: In this course, students will learn more than just key accounting principles and measures. Theyā€™ll also understand how theyā€™re applied in the real world by analysts, investors, and CFOs. Over the four weeks, students will examine how accounting principles and financial analysis can help student measure value creation, cash flow, and financial decision-making. The course is divided into modules consisting of video lectures, quizzes, and reflection questions. Students will also complete a peer-reviewed assessment at the end of the course. To participate, students should possess a basic knowledge of statistics and Microsoft Excel.

Review: ā€œSolid class, with a very strong overview on the elements of financial analysis. The end of class project was also very helpful. Would have liked to have a more in-depth understanding of what the financials mean on the ground for the business, but I’m expecting that later in the specialization.
