Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Led the manufacturing of a $100m business unit in Procter & Gamble and its 158 staff; accountable for all manufacturing metrics including cost, quality, efficiency and initiatives. Elaborated and implemented a new operating model that increased productivity by 7.5%.

What quality best describes the MBA classmates you’ve met so far and why? Extraordinary individuals. Not only because of their professional backgrounds, but their diverse personalities and interests that make every day both inspiring and challenging.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key factor that led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA and why was it so important to you? Before I joined the MBA, I had the opportunity to see first-hand how the school had a transformative impact in the life of its students. My husband is an alumnus and during that time I saw how he was growing as a professional and a leader. I was also able to participate in other IMD programs. I took part in the “High Performance Leadership program” and the Luxury discovery event. In both cases, I was surrounded by people coming from various disciplines, sectors, and nationalities. I thrived during those programs and contributed with my own experiences and learning.

I realized after being so closely exposed to the IMD world that it was the right choice for me. Also, I was sure that participating in their top ranked full year IMD MBA would allow me to reach my full potential as a business leader.

What club or activity are you looking most forward to in business school? The leadership stream at IMD is the one that I was most looking forward to. We had a glimpse of it so far and it started already exceeding my expectations in terms of depth and impact.

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point in your career? At this point in my career, I’m not looking only for the next assignment, but more on how far I can go as a business leader. I believe that in the long run the MBA will enable me to reach new heights.

What other MBA programs did you apply to? IMD was my first and only choice for this year.

How did you determine your fit at various schools? I had a list of priorities that went from geography to program, passing through rankings and duration. I did my research not only with my family and friends, but also looking for impartial practical information on websites like FT and Bloomberg.

What was your defining moment and how did it shape who you are? My defining moment was the liver transplant my son had to undergo. It made me see life with grateful eyes and understand the importance of being kind.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself doing something I’m passionate about, close to a general management position in a company where I can have a positive impact in the world.
